"Gryffindor," Keagan replied, after having waited longer than she had expected to for the young girl's answer. The lass seemed kind of distracted by something back toward the path, and Keagan tilted her own head to try and follow with her line of sight the item that had drawn the girl's gaze. "Whatcha looking at?" Keag asked, turning back to the girl bodily but keeping her eyes down in the same fashion as before she turned.

Nodding in comprehension Lianna realized a tad too late that the older girl had been following her gaze through the original line of sight. and aparantly hadn't realized it led along the girl's original path.
"Just looking around..." She responded. It was believeable enough, the grounds were truly beautiful.

Glancing up at the Badger before looking down again, Keagan raised an eyebrow skeptically. "All I see down there is the path. What's so interesting about that?" she asked, wondering what the girl had found so interesting about that, or at least interesting enough to take more than a passing glance back at it. Locking her legs around the branch she was perched upon, Keagan leaned back against the tree trunk and crossed her arms while looking up at the girl.

Either this gryffindor was playing dumb, or really didn't make the connection that was so obvious. She was willing to bet that even Rolen would have made the link by now. And that was saying something, as Rolen, was a nut.
"Don't you take longer looks and things you find nice, or, pretty?" Lianna questioned before turning away again.
"I find the grounds to be beautiful, but, I can't see much of it from here without nearly falling." She claimed.

Though possibly appearing otherwise to the youth higher in the tree, Keagan really wasn't giving the Hufflepuff's words much weight. It seemed she was hiding something, and it was odd that she would have taken such interest in anything as simple as a dirt path. "Nice or pretty things, sure. But a path?" The question, of course, was rhetorical, and Keagan hoped her words would give the inpression she intended them to.
"So, what is it you are doing in the tree?" Keagan asked, unwilling to accuse her of anything unless her story was entirely transparent.
