Enter beyond these doors, to the office of the Hogwarts Caretaker. Tucked away on the ground floor, the office you seek is within reach. Masculine and clean, there is no rubbish between these walls. Inside you'll find a jovial kind of guy, with an appetite for life. Just beware, keep yourself in line! Or detention you will find, won't be so sublime! Visitors welcome! Just make sure to wipe your feet, and mind the inside.

Floating candles illuminate an enchanted ceiling meant to mimic the sky outside in one of the vastest and most popular chambers at Hogwarts. Packed with grumbling tummies during the three-square meals a day, you are just as likely to find a group of Hufflepuffs studying in the afternoon as you are Gryffindors pouring over pumpkin juice and Prophets in the morning. Just, when it comes to mail, take "head's up" to heart and duck.

Carefully guarded by two stone gargoyles, the Staff Antechamber stands in all of its meager valor behind the High Table. Plagued by a semi-alcoholic portrait named Violet, the room is cluttered with refurbished odds and ends still considered to be furniture but too outdated to be fit for the rest of the school. With only one way in and out, whether the Antechamber serves as a sanctuary for the Faculty in need of relaxation or the woe of the unsuspecting Professor is still a matter of much debate.
