Ryder paced up and down the field, his shoes kicking the slush and snow about, the squelching noise almost satisfying. Luckily the kids wouldn't be playing on the ground. It would a bit difficult to run around in this muck. Another good thing about today, though, was that the sun was now out and there was no wind. It was cold, to be sure, but not freezing.
With another turn, Ryder walked back along his path to where he had began. By now he wished he had worn another pair of socks. Or at least some boots. Maybe he could actually buy a pair.

In her little corner of the locker room, Arianna sat inside her locker. That's right. INSIDE her locker. She had arrived extra early, even before the professor had, and found that the warmest place, oddly enough, was inside the locker. Arianna fit just right, the door open just a smidgen to let some fresh air in. She was dozing at the moment and didn't hear anyone else arriving.

Inside the Hufflepuff lockeroom, Ana was attempting to strategize. Her sister had tried to tell her that strategizing was always a good thing, and it was one of the few things that didn't go in one ear and out the other during the 'lectures.' Bad thing was, the girl didn't know enough about the opposing team to do any useful planning. She frowned as a gust of wind blew through the hallway, sending her quidditch robes in a flurry around her ankles. The game would surely be starting any moment now, and she was pretty much just awaiting the loud booming of the announcer or the blow of a whistle.
Or maybe even the rest of her teammates.

Drew came into the locker room, slamming anything and everything in his way. It was friggin-freezing outside and while the cold didn't exactly put him into the best of moods, he was mostly trying to keep the blood in his arms circulating. It wouldn't be the best of circumstances if he was too numb to play.

Seanna walked into the Hufflepuff locker room, a little nervous, okay, a lot nervous about today's quidditch game, she was excited yes, but the nervousness was starting to overtake and control her, so Seanna went over to the other and only Hufflepuff that was in the locker room.
"Hey!, ready for the game today?" Seanna said meekly to the girl, taking in some deep breath's, as she tried to control her nerve's.

Ana turned to face the voice she heard coming from the room's entrance. Letting out a breath of relief, she smiled at Seanna and waved her hand nonchalantly. "Sure, piece of cake." Actually she was quite on edge, especially since this was her first game playing as beater. Well, technically her first game ever. At Hogwarts, anyway.
"How 'bout you? Ready?" she offered as a weak reply.

Seanna nodded, she was ready, kind of ready anyways. "Yeah, I'm ready, well, kind of ready anyway" Seanna smiled at the girl and couldn't quite place her name...Anastacia?, Isabella?, Seanna couldn't remember at that moment and decided to comment on the weather instead, "Some weather, though, it's going to be freezing out there" Not that it was all ready freezing in the locker room.

Nodding in reply, Ana wrapped her arms tighter around her waist as another gust of wind blew into the room. Seanna was a prefect, wasn't she? Even as those few facts ran through Ana's mind, the girl seemed to have a problem remembering what position she played on the team. Seanna, that is. "Seeker might have a bit of a problem," she commented. The tension in the room was a little odd, but normal she supposed for a first game. 'Specially in nasty weather like that swirling outside.
Her hair wrapped around her neck with one burst of freezing air, and when she opened her mouth to speak again (some dumb comment on how they were going to do fine in the game), a handful of it found it's way into her mouth. Sputtering, a silly grin crossed her face and she decided maybe she was better off being quiet. Leaning over, the sixteen year old began to relace her boots, making sure they were good and tight.

Seanna looked outside through a small window that was in the locker room, "Actually, I think that I won't have no trouble finding the snitch today, it is freezing outside, but the sun is shining and there's only a little a bit of wind" Seanna replied back to the girl, she knew she hadn't met this girl anywhere and Seanna still hadn't placed her name.
Her nerves starting to calm down just a little, Seanna walked over to the opposite seat and placed her hands underneath her bottom, yes, she had all ready came fully dressed, so all she had to was wait until the Ref said it was time to play.

Samuel walked into the locker room, was pretty nervous about his first game. He still couldn't believe it, but it was true he was subbing for a position. This was his only chance to prove he is something, and now was the day. He saw Ari and Drew, and looked around and didn't see any other players.
Sighing, "Okay, this is it," he said to himself. He was a bit nervous and couldn't stop. He has never ever been around a large crowd, and to note that 98% of the whole school is going to be there.

{I think Ari is still in her locker}
"LITTLEDUDE!" Drew cried out seeing the youngest member of the team come in. He looked more than a little nervous... which probably wasn't alieviated by Drew's pounding and swinging. The blood was starting to warm up and he focused less on making noise and more on stretching out his arms. "Hey, you're going to be fine... piece of cake, right?"

"You'll be fine," Drew assured him, giving him a light pat on the back and smiling as his shoulder gave a satisfying pop. "Just make sure you throw up before the game. Getting sick on broomstick is SO not pretty."

He grinned in a 'I'm Ready' look, "Dont worry about me being on a broom, I'm skilled on it, just .... not around a collosal ((meaning: BIG, but you know that)) amount of people, but I'm ready and win, 2 - 0 right?" he was ready and jog in place 10 times and punched 2 times, and jumped up, and cracked his neck and back.

{*snort* ... can't believe I forgot to post here } Allegra ran into the locker room only to find it nearly empty. And here she thought she was running late. She looked at her watch and saw that yes, she WAS running late. Which meant... "Where's the rest of the team?" she asked the boys, nearly accusing Drew of doing something with them.
