This would be an easy to follow lesson, and hopefully easy to perform. He was willing to bet even his NEWT students who had no real ambition to be there could comprehend and use it in the future. Or, if anything else they could use today's topic to impress a whole neighborhood of muggles for eternity. Whatever worked.
Robert was present, the spring time temperatures were adequately keeping the greenhouse's stable, and the day's topic was spread about the room in its own little pot plus a flower-box full on the little display table he'd managed to commandeer from the Caretaker.
He was ready...for the year to end.

Rael walked in and looked around. The room was empty except for the professor, Rael merely walked to the seat she had been at all year and dropped her bag on the desk. Her eyes traveled around the room as she took in all of the pots and boxes. It was going to be a practical lesson, which was going to be more enjoyable than the other lessons had been lately. Her blue eyes landed on the professor and she nodded and smiled to him in greeting. As she waited for the others to arrive she dug threw her bag to find the curriculum paper she had, just to see what the lesson was going to be on that day.

Daniel had awoken late again. For he had spent until 11ish thinking of Sonja. Her blonde hair, her green eyes.... Therefore, he hadn't time to do much. He had shoved a pair of glasses on his face, and scurried off to the greenhouses. Still with a final bite of an English muffin in his mouth, he stalked into the greenhouse. He was in a bad mood, again, not because he hadn't time to put his contacts on showing those horrid blue eyes, but because the classroom was just about empty. He took a seat of in the corner towards the back. He wasn't in the mood for Herbology.

Charon shuffled into the classroom. It was far too nice a day outside to be cooped up in class, yet here he was. Nodding to the professor, he took the seat next to Rael. He stretched out, feeling his back crack several times, and then lay his head down on the desk. For some odd reason he was feeling very lethargic today, and it wasn't just because he had to go to class. He wasn't really tired, either, just apathetic. he grunted a greeting to Rael and closed his eyes. He knew that if he fell asleep, she'd wake him up once class started.

Usually, Kellen looked forward to Herbology. Alright, fine, so 'looked forward to' was a bit of an exaggeration. At the very least, he no longer dreaded going. But today was just too nice a day: that little walk outside to get to the greenhouse had sparked his distraction. Today, he just wanted to be outside.

The class was slowly filling as Scott walked in. his eyes looked around until they landed on a certain girl seated next to a boy with his head on the desk. Slowly he walked up behind her and placed his hands over her eyes. "Guess who?" he questioned with a smile. She would know who it was, but he figured it would be fun to do anyway. Unless, of course, she decided to hex him. As Scott waited for her answer he looked around at the other students. he wondered if another certain young lady would be in the class, as well.

Allegra wandered into the class wistfully. Herbology wasn't exactly her most favorite class, but it wasn't her least favorite either. And while the day was perfect for enjoying the outsides, there were worse places to be than the greenhouses. At least it wasn't the dungeons...
With another little sigh she took her seat and got her notes out, making sure to be ready for class when the profesor started.

When she felt hands on her face, she let out an exasperated sigh. "I bet I can get it in one guess." Rael had hoped he was not in Herbology as it was the only class she had with Charon, and she knew Scott was going to annoy her. Rael waited a moment before she voiced her answer. "Scott Christopherson?" she said with little enthusiasm. Without waiting for him to answer, she pulled his hands away from her face and turned in her seat to look at him.

Hearing a new voice, and hearing Rael identify it, Charon lifelessly raised a hand in greeting to the boy he didn't know, and let it drop again. If class didn't start soon, he was very likely to fall asleep. Which wouldn't be an entirely bad thing until he actually had to be awake and attentive. At that point, he'd be all groggy and bleary-eyed, and completely useless for any sort of rational thought. And that would be a very bad thing, since rational thought was somewhat needed for this class.

"How are you doing?" he asked as he looked at her with his brown eyes. he didn't even bother greeting the boy as he had done, there was no point. After all, Scott was talking to Rael, not the Ravenclaw. his brown eyes looked at her face, as he searched for signs of her wanting to at least be kind to him. Last time they had spoken she had been tolerable, almost polite, but he hoped she'd had time to accept the fact that he was there.

"I am fine," she replied. Gently she poked Charon in the ribs and hoped he would sit up so she did not have to talk to the Ravenclaw by herself, after all Charon was in Ravenclaw too, so they should have something to talk about. "I am sure you probably already know him Scott, but this is Charon. Rone, meet Scott." Actually, she did not care whether they knew each other or not, she just did not want to have to talk to him if she could help it. It was not that she did not like him, but he annoyed her and that could set off her temper.

Charon lifte his head a few inches from his arm and opened his eyes. "'Ello," he muttered. "Nice to meet you." He let his head fall back on his arm and his eyes once again closed. Until class started, it was unlikely he'd realy be cognizant. If he'd had more energy and will, he'd have poked Rael back. Luckily for her side, he didn't. He contented himself with giveing here a closed-eye glare. Although it probably lost most of its effectiveness since the eyes weren't open.

Scott rose an eyebrow at the boy and his greeting. The least he could've done was offered his hand. Ignoring the boy again, Scott turned back to Rael as he dropped his bag off on the desk behind her. "So have ya given up on hope of getting rid of me just yet?" he asked. he knew while she probably didn't want to be talking to him, she would anyway if he kept a conversation flowing.

Reina walked into class and turned to the Prof. like a moth to a flame. Reina sighed. It was true that both parties held no love for eachother. Reina took her seat and hoped if he ignored her than she could ignore him.

Sora entered the classroom, thoughts far away from Herbology. Without even a wave or greeting to the professor, he quickly found an empty seat in the back and took a seat in it, dropping his books to the side of his chair as he waited for class to start.
