Melody responded cooly, "I believe I am not mentally challenged, or else I wouldn't be in Ravenclaw, would I? Not to mention, I was only giggling sheepishly because your insanity was getting to me, and believe me, everyone in this classroom has the potential to laugh at your denseness." Melody tisked at the girl. Although she was in Ravenclaw, and not meant to snap back, for that was the Slytherin house job, she could come up with a decent comeback.
"And he isn't my boyfriend. We haven't even met." She continued on defensively, "And Hufflepuffs are known for their potential to do great, along with their hardworking traits that even outweigh us Ravenclaws most of the time... In fact... Slytherin's, according to Hogwarts a History are noted not only for their slyness, not a compliment, but for their dense, thick skulls."

"Miss Fields, Miss Thorncross, Mr. Ray, hush your bickering before I dock points and send you out. I'm not in the mood for childish arguements today. Whatever problem you may have can be resolved after my class." Robert said sternly from the front of the room. His headache was growing worse, and would continue to do so, sadly.
"The Flutterby Bush. I surely hope one of you knows something about it..."

Melody couldn't help but grin. Three students had walked in class late, and had an argument, and no house points had been lost. It was almost too good to be true. Melody answered promptly as she raised her hand, "Flutterby, meaning butterfly in Old English, is a bush that quivers. The neddles are used in the Babbling Beverage to make utter nonsense become more of a second nature." ((ooc: I made up most of the information, as imagination is everything Hope you don't mind.))

Lilith felt kind of bad for the professor, who was listening to the students arguing and in the end had not done anything. She would remember this, as she always remembered things others did for her, or to her. She was cross when someone else got to the answer before her, but rose her hand to say a piece of forgotten information. "Also, before it is used in the Babbling Beverage, it must be pruned." Stupid Slytherin? Not this one.

"Right you are, the both of you, five points a piece, congratulations, you've redeemed yourselves. Now then. The Flutterby Bush can grow from anywhere around one and a half feet and three feet tall, sprouting blossoms of various color and length, most commonly a shade of dark purple." Robert lectured, making written notes of the points awarded for the two girls.
Perhaps, they had actually payed attentiona fter all.
