Ash made her way onto the Ravenclaw stands this time. It was nice to sit on the Slytherin stands with Lauren last game, but wanted to spend some time with the Ravens this time. She was of course rooting for Hufflepuff, although definately not that Rolen kid. She would be jeering for him. Talia was supposed to playing this game, right? She had done a great job last time. Ash had been on the edge of her seat cherring for her.
The weather, again, was cold. The summer had officially ended and fall was here. She was well bundled up.

Ivy kept her distance. "Uh, no." she said, blatantly refusing him. "You were sweaty like five seconds ago... that still counts as being dirty. I have to wait at least ten minutes until I come into physical contact with you... for now, I must stay within ten feet of you." she said, partly joking, partly serious.
Ivy hated anything dirty and liked to keep clean. It came with being brought up as a very self-centered girl.

Mike just laughed and smiled as he threw his Quidditch robes back on, she was rather mysterious and he didn't know whether he could completely understand her ever, but her heart was in the right place and thats all that mattered to Mike.
"Well your loss then"
He said with a small chuckle as he walked towards her

(Sorry I'm late... Exams are... stressful...)
Krissy had entered the locker rooms just in time to see Ivy release Pat and then give him a kiss on the forehead. A sudden scowl had formed accross her face as she watched Ivy make her way back over to Mike. Krissy wasn't yet changed into her quidditch robes but that was what the time before the match was for. A bright yellow ribbon was tied in Krissy's hair holding it away from her eyes. She moved silently to her locker, on the way surverying just who was actually there. Pat, Mike and Jynx. She didn't know why Ivy was there and part of Krissy wished she wasn't. But Krissy shook the thought out of her mind. She knew she shouldn't think like that, Ivy was a fellow huffle and was pretty nice.
It was when she reacher her locker that she turned around. She figured she'd better say something to her team, she was the captain after all. "Ready for a big game guys?" Krissy said a cheery note in her tone. She turned back to her locker opening it up to see a picture she had stuck there of Pat and her from when they were in scotland. She smiled as she reached past the picture to get the bright yellow robes that were hanging up in the locker. The house elves always seemed to like to neaten up her locker, she just didn't see why, it wasn't that messy...

Aye...
Trying to resist the screams and pleas in her brain, she quickly hugged Mike from behind and held him like that for a couple of seconds. "Play hard okay? I want Hufflepuff to win... you better behave too," she let go of him, kissed him on the cheek and ran off-- out of the locker room.
As she passed Krissy she waved her and smiled. "Good luck, Krissy! I know you'll do great!"
Out of the Hufflepuff locker room, and into the stands.

Krissy heard Ivy's voice and the words registered in her mind. "Thanks Ivy" she called after the girl. Yeah Ivy was alright. But there was still the part of Krissy that was glad she was gone.. now she wouldn't have to watch Ivy clinging off Pat. Krissy shook her head. She was being silly.
Krissy smiled as she looked at the picture once more and then took off her top, exchanging it for a yellow one and her quidditch robes. Krissy randomly tossed her hogwarts robes and clothes she had been wearing into her locking and reached in for her broom which she had sat in there a few days before after quidditch practise.
She turned from her locker and looked over to Pat giving him a big smile. She took a few steps over to him. "Hey sweetie" she said to him quietly, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. "Ready to kick some ass today?" Krissy grinned to Pat.

Pat was glad that Ivy had released the deathgrip she had had on him, althought really would of preferred that she hadn't kissed him on the forehead. No offense meant to Ivy, the only girl he was really comfortable with that sort of thing was Krissy. Almost the moment he thought that, the redhead herself showed up in the locker room; Pat noticed the scowl that appeared on her face when she saw Ivy kiss his forehead.
However, Krissy seemed happy enough when she addressed the present team members in a cheery voice. Pat noticed the picture of the two of them she kept inside her locker, smiling as he looked at it. The past summer had truly been one to remember; Pat hoped that the breaks of upcoming years would be as fantastic.
When Krissy came over to him, greeting him along with a kiss, Pat smiled even wider. He smirked when Krissy asked if he was ready to kick some ass. "'Course I am," he said, running a hand through his silver hair. "Question is, is Gryffie gonna come quietly or not? I know they aren't runnin' Tristan as Seeker today; he's injured." Pat had seen Tristan's injury himself, and it was obviously that he wouldn't be playing. "No idea who they're subbin' in though. I hope they put up a good fight, though. Keep it interesting."

Brittany resisted the urge to snap at the, in her opinion at the moment, ignorant boy. After all, what did he know about stress? He didn't have to take the responsibility of the loss if Gryffindor lost. He didn't have to rearrange the roster every spare moment that he got time and come up with new plays and schedule practices. There was no way that he could possibly relate, so he had no right to tell her to calm down. She almost wanted to slap him clear across the face for it. But the voice of reason in the back of her head, however small it was it was there, told her that he was right.
She should at least try and appear calm and collected so that she didn't freak out her entire team. Gathering her self, she sat down on the edge of the bench and attempted to stay still. That lasted about half a second before she started to shake her leg up and down. At least, this was less noticeable. Brittany knew what she had to do in the case of the seeker, though she absolutely hated it. But it was required of her to do it no matter how much she really didn't want to. What was best for the team was what mattered, not what best suited her. With a sigh, she felt a wave of relief sweep over her as she confirmed her decision.
Looking up to the others in the locker room, she allowed a small smile to grace her face. It was going to be a good day, it had to be a good day. This game was not going to crash and burn like the last. Oh no. It would be better, because this time she would actually be able to captian her team. Maybe it was better this way? She wasn't sure, but she knew she would find out in about ten minutes or so when the game got underway.

"Stow it Tuesday." Corey voiced as he entered the room about half way through the fifth year's stress speech. Just a rookie like the rest of them, or, most of the rest of them. "Its game day, we're all stressed and all nervous. An' I know somewhere under that arrogant and over confident attitude includes you. You can be as confident as you want, but its all up to choice, chance, and consequences." Corey retorted whilst he changed into his quidditch robes.
The Keeper had had an off game against Slytherin, he didn't intend on letting that happen again. He'd let more than his fair share through, and had alot of ground to make up for it, but he'd make it up. They still had a shot at the cup after all. Right?
At the moment, Corey was more frustrated than calm, frustrated at his poor performance form the Slytherin game. Most of their team were rookies, and they scored more points on him than they should have. Yes, game day meant challange day, and challanges were always welcome, but like anything else, losing still scarred..

Ash smiled as she saw Noah entering the locker room. So that little lions playing today, aih? she left her seat and made her way down to the feild and into the Gryffindor locker rooms to wish her friend luck on today's game. Sure, she wasn't rooting for Gryffindor, but this was the least she could do. Ash beamed at him as she entered the room. " Aih, Tuesday, you playing today?" she said happily and glanced at Brittany and Corey wondering what he had said to tick them off so much. She couldn't imagine Noah being negative, my God, he was even happy during detention. She swore there was something wrong with that boy but decided not to bring it up.

Noah raised an eyebrow at the overly grumpy Corey and crossed his arms at him. "Er... arrogant? Overly confident?" he echoed, gripping his broom tightly with his wand. Usually, Noah was a laid back guy that was pleasant to most anyone. This was the first time he became upset at another student. Waiting for this moment since he came to Hogwarts, of course he was happy that he finally got the chance to play for Gryffindor. He was not being cocky, he wanted to cheer Brittany up. Obviously, it failed-- but it didn't mean that he didn't have the best intentions.
He decided to drop the issue of his "arrogant" behavior, because the team had enough to worry about. However, he felt that it was this exact attitude that could bring their demise. They needed to stay strong and be confident. Letting the events of the last game bother them so much would make them weak. This was not good stress-- not when you would snap at your own team mates. He took a breath and turned away from Corey and Brittany. Whatever, he was a rookie to them. He could prove himself as a valuable player in this game. As a team, he hoped that they could bring forth a victory.
He smiled boyishly at Ash, trying to forget about his grumpy team mates. "Hey Xin," he said ruffling her hair with his right hand. The girl was a foot shorter than him, so it made it easy. "Yes, I'm playing today... but I'm taking that you're cheering for Saphire?" he said to her, leaning on his broom.

She shot a glare at Corey, " You don't even know him, so shut it, Faulkland." she hissed in anger but she cooled herself and looked back to Noah with a smile, " Well... er..." she looked at feet wondering if it would offend him or anyone in this locker room if she was to admit that she was cheering for the Hufflepuff team. "Actually, I'm cheering for you... and the Puffs." she mumbled the last part quickly.
"Anyway, this is your first game, right?" she beamed, "Well, I think that your arrogant and over confident additude is good for the game. Being nervous and negative is just what triggers bad playing." she said knowing that she would be a nervous reck if she was expected to play for the Ravens.

Mike smiled as Ivy left the locker room and finally he could sit down with the rest of the team, he looked around, and saw Pat, Krissy and Jynx. Great where was the rest of the team like Talia, Matty among others and who was subbing for Nessa seen as though she was still injured.
"Of course they are, they don't have their main seeker so they'll have some green as anything Seeker filling in, they'll be really nervous about it too, because 9 times outta 10 the team that catches the snitch wins the game"

Game day. Deryn was ready for this one. She feared that she might actually kill someone this time. She had so much anger bottled up now, and she was ready to release it on anyone that came close to her. It was just a shame that she wasn't playing Beater this time. Then Hufflepuff would be in trouble. Still, as Deryn entered the change room, she heard them saying something about stress and would have liked nothing more than to say "You don't even know what stress is!, but she refrained.
In the corner, Deryn changed into her robes and just sat there with her head between her knees, trying to focus. She had let Gryffindor down so many times already, so that stress, plus the stress that William was causing was making her blood just boil. Taking deep breaths, Deryn cooled off and waited to get out on the pitch.

Krissy knew Brittany wasn't that stupid to let an inexpirienced player be seeker. "They'll have someone good" she interjected to Mike. She turned and looked back towards Pat. "But gryffie will always put up a good fight, their a good side and have a good captain and good players, they'll give us a run for our money"
A thought then struck Krissy. The pleyfulness gone from her face and replaced by a stern look. Her eyes fixed upon Mike. "Speaking of fights..." she said looking at him. "One stunt like last game and I'll make sure you don't play the next one" she said looking at Mike. She would speak to Talia later about argueing with Mike but for now... She raised her voice a little louder so that all the huffles in the locker room could hear her. "We are huffles, we do not fight amoungst ourselves and we play fair, it doesn't matter what the other team does or says, we keep our cool" Krissy looked back to Mike at this comment remembering him seeming like he was gunna kill Drew. Her face lost its sterness now and a smile formed on her face "We can win this game, but we have to have fun out there, it ain't all about winning." Krissy looked around at the huffles who were in the locker room. "And I don't wanna see none of you's pick a fight or get into a fight with any of the other teams players ya hear me?" Her voice wasn't stern it infact carried an air of casualty but the others would know she was serious.
"I know the gryff's will give us a good fun game" Krissy grinned around at them. The match was going to be fun.
