Sarsha had somehow gotten a little bit lost on her way to the Transfigurarion classroom. She had been getting pretty good at finding her way to classes but she was a little bit shaken after the deva situation and so she had somehow lost her way. However, her natural habit of leaving early for classes meant she wasn't even late. Sarsha sighed as she found the room. Although she tensed up slightly as she realised they were mixed with another year. Not the third years this time but rather the first years.
Her eyes scanned the room quickly. There was only two other second years in the room. Arty and the girl he always seemed to be with these days. Sarsha recognised only two other people. One was the fat Hufflepuff girl whom she was kind of scared of. She had seen some of her actions previously and wasn't too keen on crossing paths with her. The other was Hannah. Sarsha had met the younger girl a couple times and she hadn't been too bad. "Hiya Arty" Sarsha said quietly as she passed him. She decided not to sit with him. He was with two other Slytherin's and thought he might not want her around. Afterall, she wasn't a Slytherin.
Sarsha instead moved to where Hannah was sitting with a rather small boy. "Do.. do you mind if I sit here?" Sarsha questioned Hannah politely, worried the girl might say no and that she would have to go sit near the fat hufflepuff. She half wished Kyle was in the room, but she couldn't see him and so couldn't exactly go sit with him.

Finally more students! It had been getting awkward just sitting there all by her lonesome, but now there would be another presence or two to keep her company. When her gray-green eyes laid on the two first years she felt a little disheartened. It was going to be a combined class for today which meant she would have to put up with the voices of the younger ones. Of the two who walked in she only recognized one, and that was the Slytherin who had been talking to Trixie (ech!) during the feast. Well now he took notice of her with an "Ello," that was directed to both her and the new professor. "Heya," she greeted him. She figured that these two would be so bad to share a class with. After all, the younger Slytherin was not like Trixie, and the Raven...Well the Raven didn't look like much of a threat or a bother.
It was the next group of students who entered that looked like they might be a nuisance. Especially the chubby girl who kicked the boy next to her. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The Slytherin didn't look like he was going to say anything to her, and just rubbed his shin. "Are you okay? Stupid Huffle," she muttered the last bit to herself. She knew that if the girl had tried something like that with her then one or the two of them would be dismissed from class this day, and probably end up with a detention to boot. There was no way that Fyona would let someone kick her and get away with it.
She was thinking this when Art came in and her whole demeanor changed. "Hi," she said jostling him with her elbow lightly as she did. She looked up when another second year entered, and wondered what was going on with the others. Where are Shari and Scorpius? She sighed, Probably snogging somewhere I suppose.

"Well I hope all the rough housing is over with," spoke the quiet voice from the large desk. Standing up he walked to the front of the classroom and looked over the various students in front of him. "Hello class, my name is Professor Brady, its a hard one I know." He hoped the little joke at the end would soften the students up a little, this was his first class, and though he had been in front of larger crowds for larger reasons... well he'd never been in front of so many impressional children.
He looked over them once more before speaking again. "From what I hear Professor Bloxam was a generally good teacher, so I trust that you students have at least some grasp of what we are doing today. With that said let us begin."
With a quick swish of his wand the buttons all flew into the air and distributed themselves to the young minds. "Today we will be changing these ordinary little buttons," he said grasping the last one out of the air, and touching it with his wand, "Into wonderful creepy crawly beetles."
((I'm going to just pretend that everyone is here, from now on anyone else who joins just pretend you've been here.))

Well it seemed she had somehow managed to arrive right before the professor started talking. Trixi frowned. She would have prefered to be late and miss half the class. This was the dumb professor who kept encouraging the deva to beat him up. If he had wanted to get beaten up he could have asked her, she would have happily done it. Trixi glanced around the room, she needed a seat because the man had begun to speak. Everyone seemed to be paired up nicely. Of course princess had sat with Jeremy and some random who she guessed was a second year had joined them. She might have sat with Douggy had he been sitting with duck girl. Arty was also with them so that was sitting with them out. The only other person was really fat girl. Trixi hadn't had much to do with her. But she was on her own - maybe she was alright. Not to mention she was sitting at the back of the room where Trixi wanted to sit.
Trixi moved to the back of the room. She HATED classes, and hated that she was back in them. "This stinks" she mumbeled as she reached the back desks and moved to sit near fat girl, she doubted the professor would hear as he was still rambeling on about merlin only knows what. She really did not enjoy classes. "Hello" Trixi whispered as she sat next to the fat girl, amazed there was actually room to sit next to her. Suddenly an idea popped into her mind. The fat girl had the same sort of attitude as herself and Trixi was already bored of this class. Plus buttons had just landed in front of her and the other girl. "Dare you to throw yours at Hannah" Trixi whispered under her breath so that only the fat girl could hear her.

Shari entered the classroom and made a cursory glance about the room: there were several students she didn't know, but it wasn't long before she set eyes on Fyona. Trying to be as unnoticeable as possible, she made her way over to the nearest desk to Fyona's.
She blushed as she plopped herself down into the seat, and heaved an ostensible sigh, which only deepened the reddening of her cheeks. Shari could feel a bit of a tension in the room as she oriented herself to it. Apparently she had tried to sneak past the teacher, she now realized as she laid her eyes upon the semi-familiar face.
Well done, Sharivah! Well done! She scolded herself. heaving a less obvious sigh, she took out her parchment and quills and ink and book and prepared for the lesson.

"I never got my wand back after the Deva were here," Jeremy stated quite boldly, even though his heart was racing as he raised his hand and spoke. There had been a long, interior debate about the perils of speaking out in class versus the embarassment of having to actually perform a spell. The first year had decided that blaming the Deva on a missing wand was much better than having to perform any magic in front of people.

Why was Jeremy glaring at her, for? Hearing the Huffle's muffled voice, something along the lines of a mental note not to poke Jeremy, she understood, though. The glare wasn't meant for her, it was meant for that evil Huffle. What was that Huffle's problem, anyhow? and if she had something to say, why not say it and get it over and done with? Turning around, Hannah shot her own glare of annoyance towards her and one for Trixi, who was now sitting next to that Huffle.
It was only then she noticed that Sarsha had come up to her. "Sure, I don't mind. I'd just watch evil and eviler over there" Hannah said quietly, but loud enough for the two girls to hear, but not loud enough for the Professor to hear. Hannah didn't really care about turning buttons into beetles, but thinking it'd be better if they turned the buttons into butterflies, at least the butterflies were pretty. Hannah turned her attention back to Jeremy and gave him a slight frown, feeling irritated with him and with herself for not keeping her promise. For some reason, she felt like this was going to be a long day.

This girl actually talked to him! Now this was exciting, only because big-eared boy didn't talk back to him without sounding like it was a pain in the neck to converse. But this girl, albiet she was from his house, spoke to him, greeted him even. Now that was pretty cool. Maybe he wasn't still hiding in the shadows like he thought because of how that kid spoke to him. This was really cool, and he was thinking he'd actually like the class because of him.
"Nah, I'm alright Miss," he answered her. Yes, it did hurt a little bit, but a girl shouldn't be calling another girl stupid, even if he thought the same thing. But a girl of possible royalty shouldn't be thinking about a commoner anyway. It did no good for her to worry about it, 'sides, he was a boy and could handle it. If he couldn't, he would've asked to go the khazi.
When the teacher talked, his jaw slacked. Was that supposed to be funny? Brenton didn't think it was, and he usually got jokes. No, this guy had a dry sense of humor if he thought that was funny. But it was pretty cool when he threw the buttons at them with his wand. But when he said they were going to turn the buttons into bugs, he got really excited. This was the coolest, even if he couldn't do magic very well.
"Sir?" he asked, raising his hand. "What's the incantation?" If they were going to do it, they needed to know how.

Elizabeth nearly jumped out of her seat when Trixie spoke to her. No one ever talked to her in class except to tell her to shut up or leave them alone. This time someone had actually said hello, which was more than enough of a shock to the girl to send her tumbling onto the floor. She was able, however, to keep herself from doing so and also kept the shock from showing on her face, instead giving the girl a bit of a glare, which disappeared quickly at Trixie's suggestion.
"Okay," Elizabeth's lips turned up into a smile; the first real smile to appear on her face since the day she was sorted. Picking up her button from the desk, Elizabeth looked around for her victim, though she wanted to make sure Trixie didn't pick the same one. "I want Snotty." she pointed over to Hannah. That girl really bothered Elizabeth a great deal.

Trixi saw the glare and it had been basically what she had expected, but she also saw the girls smile at her suggestion. Least she wasn't trying to thump her. Trixi smirked upon realising 'snotty' was actually Hannah. "She's all yours" Trixi whispered with a small smirk to the girl. She didn't mind if she launched her button at Hannah. Least Hannah couldn't try to kill her again because it hadn't been her that had done it. Trixi too picked up her button. She knew who her's was going at. Duck girl was in for it this time AND she couldn't try to command ducks to her own will because there weren't any around.
"I want ducky up the front there"(Fyona thats you) Trixi whispered to Elizabeth with a smirk. "On the count of three ay?" Trixi picked up her button and took aim. "One...Two.. Three!" On the whispered three Trixi cocked her arm back and launched the button towards Fyona, right at the back of her head. A smirk formed on her face as she watched the buttons path.

For the first time in her life, Elizabeth was actually having fun in class. Well, there was that time in potions way at the beginning of the year, but she had long forgotten about that and thought that this was the only time she'd done anything enjoyable at school and actually had someone join in. Usually it was just her making fun of someone else, but now she had someone doing the fun with her.
At Trixie's count of three, Elizabeth aimed her button at Hannah's head and let it fly, smiling as it smacked the girl in the head. As an older Raven had learned at that stupid feast at the start of term, Elizabeth was a rather good aim. This came from throwing rocks at squirrels and such in the trees back home.

Hannah hadn't been paying attention to anything 'sides her own woes and the fact that she should've sat somewhere else. The girl didn't even feel the button that had hit her head and was unaware of it until the moment the button fell on top of her desk and Hannah knew just exactly who had sent it her way. Well, she knew of two people who could have sent that button flying and she was thinking it would have to be either Trixi or that awful Huffle girl who had.
If Hannah wasn't trying to stay out of trouble for her sake and Jeremy's, she would've thrown that darn button back to where Trixi and that awful Huffle girl sat. But no, she didn't. Hannah was smart enough to know that either girl was only trying to goad her and she wasn't going to give in to that. Not this term. Not in class, anyhow. After class however, would be a different story. Hannah couldn't get into trouble if she was out of class.
Instead, Hannah shot a glare filled with annoyance again towards the annoying Huffle and Slytherin. That was all she was going to do. Turning back to Jeremy, Hannah poked him again, a bit harder than she had intended too, holding up the other button in her hand and jerking her head in Elizabeth's and Trixi's way. Hannah wasn't quite sure why she was telling Jeremy about the button, but somehow she felt compelled too.
Hannah's head however, was fine. Might end up with another bruise where she had a bruise before, but it wasn't like the button had hurt her. It was a button after all and a small one, at that.

Maddy wasn't late, but the first year new she wasn\'t going to be the first one there. Running up and down corridors, just trying to find her classroom had almost become a routine for the young blonde. Maddy the Huffing and Puffing Hufflepuff, but she was still hoping she'd get there in time for a seat next to Jet or something. All at once, her books leapt out of her bag, or so the first year would tell everyone. Stepping on her own shoelace, Maddy went flying smashing one or two inkbottles in the collision. "Dammit!" The girl said, hitting her bag. It would be okay, if this was the first time Maddy had been so clumsy.
Ink had been smudged all over Maddy's brand new bag and robes. "Great. Just bloody fantastic!" Maddy gathered all her things into a pile and picked them up. She tried stuffing them into her bag, but the pile wouldn't fit. She pushed the pieces of glass into the corner of the hallway and proceded to walk. Now, the first year was alsolutely sure she would be late. "I'm late! I know already!" Maddy said as she walked past the professor into the class. She was sure whether he'd find that rude, but Maddy was in such a bad mood, she cldn't care less. Dumping her things onto the spare table, Maddy sat and tried to be as good as was humanly possible. That was, if she wasn't already in trouble.

Wandless that was a problem, quickly he moved to the desk at the back of the classroom. While he had his head down a boy spoke out his concerns. "I will show you the proper incantation and wand movements in a moment," his tone was light, as he grasped the spare wand he had stolen from the Deva. It wouldn't work all that well, but it might due. He quietly rose his head just in time to see a pair of buttons flying through the air. With a wave of a wand the desks the two girls were sitting in lifted off the air and flew to the front of the class falling lightly to the floor.
He placed the wand on the boys desk, with a light whisper, "I apoligize but thats the best I can do for right now." Continuing on he made his way to the front of the classroom to the two girls. "Well I see we have trouble makers. You have a choice to make. Either you can stay here and learn the lesson, though if you get out of line again I will send you to see Professor Raynor." He paused for a second to think of a good punishment. "Or you can go sit in the corner and write I will not throw buttons 1000 times. Again there is a catch, if you choose to write the lines and don't finish by the end of the class you can write an extra 1000 making it 2000." It was now up to the two girls.
((AND I WILL SAY THIS FOR THE LAST TIME, NO ONE IS LATE))
