Would it be nice? Felicity liked having to work for everything she got, and in fact, until she'd met Drew it wasn't often that she'd ever just been given something just because. Granted two of the things he'd given her were now a waste, gone forever, and she wouldn't ever see them again. That man, he was horrible! Taking her quartz squirrel and smashing it on the ground right at her feet. And Lucas necklace, but then, he also took the bear Drew had given her. One of a matching set and she didn't know what he'd done with it. But what would it be like to get whatever you wanted when you wanted it? She wasn't sure if she'd like it, knowing that one day when she had her own children she wouldn't allow them to get what they wanted when they wanted it, they'd have to deal like she had to. Maybe if she was wealthy when she was older she'd still live like she wasn't.
Giggling, Felicity liked Connor's assessment of who she'd be. The one to tame the beast. She had read a book entitled Taming the Beast Within about dragons in Gringotts. "I'd like that," she told him with a big grin. "All four of us would be someone famous, everywhere we go people would know our names, we'd get the best seats in the house, and...people would stalk us. That's what makes a person really famous, right? When someone stalks them?"

Felicity's idea that stalking someone was an unofficial way of saying that they were really famous was funny to Connor, it sounded wierd to him for some reason and a light laugh escaped the Slytherin.
" I think I would be afraid if someone stalked me, to be honest. " He said with a small shrug of his shoulders, his light grin still holding as he talked. " Since imitation is said to be the most sincere form of flattery, what would that make stalking someone? " He asked curiously, partially still joking as he thought out loud to the girl. Connor wondered if what Felicity had said about Celina's future would hold true. Did she really want to be a harpist? That would be interesting. He reminded himself that he would have to ask her about playing the harp for him the next time he saw her.
Deciding to question the girl about it, Connor looked back up to Felicity. " Does Celina really want to be a harpist? " Being a musician sounded like a very cool occupation indeed, but he couldn't really play music all that well.

"Afraid?" she asked him incredulously. "I think I'd honestly be flattered, then a little creeped out," she told him with a big grin. While she'd taken the time to stalk a squirrel, she hadn't ever stalked a person before, was it different other than there were laws about it? "Hmmm...I think it would make it the creepiest form of flattery, depending on the level of it. I mean, if they go all out and play the part of a peeping Tom, then I'd say that's too much, but if they just randomly pop up out of bushes wherever you happen to be, I'd say that's a good flattery."
A few giggles could be heard in her voice as she spoke about it, sincerely hoping none of them were actually stalked when they were older.
"I don't really know," the blonde admitted in answer to Celina's future. "She plays really well, but I don't exactly know what she wants to do when she's older. We haven't really talked about it seriously before, just joking-wise. I could see her being a harpist though, just her manner and how well she plays. But I think she might be more interested in a job that has to deal with magic, after all she works herself nearly to death for classes. If she's really doing it just for her... well," Felicity continued, not knowing what Connor did and didn't know about Celina's family. "If she not doing it for really anything, then what's the point in working as hard as she does, right?"

“ What if they were one of those stalkers… that killed the object of their obsession? Wouldn’t that be pretty scary? “ He imagined that any sort of a stalker would be kind of creepy. Flattering, as Felicity had said, but still. There’s a distinct line between flattering someone and stalking them. But then again, he hoped that none of his friends would ever have to deal something like that. “ Well, yes, that’s alright then, like a secret admirer. But not a creeper. “ He said with another nod.
He couldn’t imagine that he would be stalked when he was older. Or rather, he hoped not.
Connor quirked his head in interest as Felicity went on to tell him about her idea of what Celina wanted to do. “ It’s never come up in conversation before. “ He mentioned to her with a small shrug of his shoulders. He found what she said rather intriguing, though. It would make sense that Celina would rather do something with magic, but there were some wizards who took on ordinary muggle jobs despite their abilities. “ Yeah… That makes sense. She does… work hard, that is. “ He said, feeling a little weird for talking about Celina to her friend. Now that he thought on it, he too could see her as a musician, playing her harp for a living. He hadn’t ever seen her play yet, but from just knowing Celina he could bet that she would be a good harpist.

"Well, that would be downright frightening," Felicity told him, frowning slightly. She wasn't fond of that idea, especially since her dad was so careful about letting her around certain people because of the way they acted. She'd never told her dad that when she first met Drew he showed her his boxers, of course, it was an accident, but her dad really wouldn't like him then. Drew was the exact type of person her dad didn't want her outside alone because of, well, her first encounter with him was like that, not any other meeting they'd had. "Definitely a nice admirer, not a scary one."
In full agreement with Connor over that, she wouldn't mind being sent flowers once a month or a nice card or something, but not someone that became overly obsessed, that was just too much.
"She really does, sometimes I wish she didn't work so hard though," Felicity confided. Celina was an intelligent girl, but she worked so hard and it wasn't really for herself, but for her family. Of course, she worked hard enough for herself, but a the same time she overly-worked. Maybe she'd have to ask her friend about it someday, just to see what her answer was.

Connor gave a nod in Felicity's direction. " Yeah, who doesn't like a secret admirer every now and then? " He gave a light shrug, thinking of his own little crush on Felicity's friend. Just the thought of it caused a small blush to rise on the Slytherin's cheeks. He cursed his fair skin, but didn't say much of anything on the subject. He hadn't even been able to tell Celina yet, and he couldn't fathom telling her best friend first. Then again maybe that would help? Connor didn't know, so he wasn't going to do something too out of character for himself by telling Felicity. He was sure the girl would find out eventually one way or another.
He withdrew himself from his thoughts to look up at Felicity as she responded to what Connor had said about Celina's working so hard.
He nodded his head shortly, looking as if he knew what she was talking about when really he didn't. " What do you mean? " He asked curiously now, wondering what the girl meant. Working hard, in Connor's mind was a good thing. He worked hard for his grades because he wanted to do well and he didn't see a problem in Celina doing the same.

"With some of the free things people can get from their admirers?" Felicity asked with a grin. Flowers, CDs, books, cards, who didn't want free gifts? Then again, she supposed some people were nervous about free things in their mail. With all of the dangerous things that could be shipped, she figured it was a good reason to be extra careful with stuff like that. Though, she wondered if the owl mail was any different or better on that stuff. Because most would want something dangerous to make it to a person before it only took out the owl, so would it be harder to send dangerous gifts or not? She didn't know and figured when they got to go to Hogsmeade in November, she'd make sure to stop in and ask. It would be interesting to find out.
In her own thoughts, she didn't notice anything off about Connor's looks, but she figured he was contemplating admirers as well. Did she want one? No, she didn't need one. Drew was awfully nice and gave her lots of things, she didn't need a secret admirer when she knew she all ready had one and knew exactly who it was.
"About Celina?" she asked. "I just think she works too hard sometimes, she gets awfully stressed out. She needs a bit more fun, but everytime we do something it seems like we get ourselves into some kind of trouble or other," Felicity added, reflecting on thoughts about the H.E.R.O. charm and the forest and the escape that didn't go anywhere.
