"It's not like it's counting for the house cup or nothing," Charlie pointed out to Allegra. "I'm just trying to put out an idea," She said after Corey's comment but she was suddenly a little pissed herself.
Turning her attention to Allegra, she added, "Do YOU have a better idea in boosting unity? I don't hear nothing from nobody else."

"No offence Reina..." Allegra started, speaking to the Slytherin before turning to the younger boy, "But something I'd rather foster with my housemates than my classmates."
She had already put too much into her team to mess with the program now.
"Boosting Unity between classes or within classes?" she asked. heck, she had plenty of ideas.

"Does it matter? We're not starting no riot, just putting some competition in the castle," Charlie said, though she wasn't sure if they would take it seriously than she thought. Allegra was a top example.

"Hold on... NOT for the cup?" Drew asked, backing the conversation up a bit. "Do it like an exibition kind of thing? Just for fun? that might work."
he thought she was talking about revamping the whole quidditch season. Of course, it wouldn't be too bad if it happened. By everyone's accounts, Fourth years would be the team to beat.

"Well, let's look at what you guys do," Allegra said, ignoring her brother. "You guys have your parties and stuff for only your year and that's great. Everyone knows you guys do it and I've even heard people complain that they dont' have something like that, but still, no one else does it. Why is that?"
She put the question out to the whole group, wondering if any of them had thoughts.

"Yeah, Drew," Charlie said, nodding vigorously as he started to like it. At least one half of the Thorntons were getting it. The other half was harder to answer to. "Just make your own," she concluded, "Easy as that."

"I'll be frank to reply to that Allegra, with I haven't hear ANY mumbling for Gryffindor about parties or lack there of. Haven't heard a ruddy thing, we have HOUSE parties, that involve everyone, and that seems to satisfy groups involved." Corey defended vigilantly.
Then again, he hadn't exactly been around long enough to know his house's entirety nor hear complaints from everyone present. And he knew that was he key lapse.

"Dude, that's not she's talking about," Drew answered. "We do that all the time in Ravenclaw too. She's talking about the stuff our class does as a class... JUST our class. Well, except when people crash them and all."
He turned to Allegra, knowing who the biggest complainer in Ravenclaw were about the class parties. "I've told her to start their own for the fifth years, but she won't."

"Everyone has HOUSE parites," Allegra said, rolling her eyes at the Gryffindor. It was mroe frustrating dealing with a newbie who thought he knew everything than someone like Charlie who had been around a while. She turned back to the Slytherin prefect a little more calm now that the danger to the quiddich season seemed to be passing.
"What if we organize stuff, specifically for each year?" Allegra suggested.

Corey bit back hard on his temper that had been slowly rising as he was seemingly ignored through most of the proceedings. And when he had been heard, he had only been shot back, by the same point twice in a row. As if he hadn't heard it the first time. All he could see this meeting accomplishing so far was putting walls up between the student leadership.
Sighing his eye trailed toward the ceiling in an attempt to focus out everything and channel all his anger out of him. Who knows, maybe, just maybe, he could get himself chipper again.

Charlie's eyes widened from their narrowness, and her mouth slid into a smile. She was starting to sell the idea. By then, she didn't care if the event wouldn't be quidditch. But any sport, for the matter.
"What do you mean?" Charlie asked, "Like design the teams so they're equal? Or what?"

"Does it have to be competative?" Allegra asked, wondering if this was going to be a sticking point with Charlie. "Or if it is, can we think of something where it won't matter that we've got older versus younger or smaller teams versus bigger ones."
She thought of a game that always seemed to have success with the Ravenclaws. "What about a scavenger hunt?"

"Wanna make it competitive, but then everyone would be trying to duel right in the middle of the match," Charlie said, really wanting it to be intense, but with the response she had gotten before, there was no way of winning. A compromise would have to be in the works. "Sure... yeah... scavenger hunt."

Personally Corey saw no way a scavenger hunt would work, yet alone be interesting, as whomever came up with the the hints, items, and locations to look for would be biased to one house. Unless of course,t hey had the staff come up with the questions, and that would be a horrendous outcome for certain.
And yet, he kept silent because he didn't feel like invoking the Head Girl's wrath for a second time in ten minutes. It would have been foolish to do so.

"It's just a suggestion," Allegra said, seeing that Charlie wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea. "Something competitive where size and strength aren't necessarily a plus. What else can we come up with?"
