Drew gave the smallest of laughs at her comment, knowing a few professors who would argue. Of course, she had missed most of History this year so wouldn't know exactly why it might happen. Then again, none of that had been Drew's fault.
"Seven years. I could probably get my hands on other people's stuff as well, but I figured Allegra's were good enough," he told her.

As the bell chimed the hour, the Professor snapped her book shut and removed her feet from their resting place. It was time to start and the chit chat had gone on long enough.
"I suppose that's up to you, Mr. Manning," she answered the Slytherin as she walked over to the set table and served herself some tea and a sandwich. Calmly taking a seat she looked over her class and noticed that she wasn't just having tea with the young men. "So, gentlemen... and lady... do you have a topic for us today or are we discussing the magical properties of the Golden ratio?"

Alexander, sitting very silently in one of the seats at the table had actually decided to eat one of the small snacks that Davenport had put out on the table for the lot of them. It was actually, incredibly delicious, and he almost had to stop himself from exclaiming so with a small moan type sound. Thanking Merlin that he didn't do that, the temperature in his face rose and he looked around to see if anyone noticed anything. Not that anyone would notice someone just eating one of the snacks... right?
Alexander's back had phantom itches, and his neck was the worst. The slightly green tinge was the reason why Alexander did find himself indulging today a bit, for what was left to ruin? Seriously... for a kid with green skin, Alexander knew his life was just over... dramatic? Slightly. But that's just the way he saw it. So, what wouldn't a few zits do? Sighing Davenport started class and he listened, not really caring what they discussed as he reached for another little sandwich and leaned back in his chair.
"I just think it's interesting how, it's apart of everything, Professor," Alexander thought on it for a moment and nodded. "And yet, I almost wonder if back in the times when like... the pyramids were being built and stuff..." another pause. "They really even knew what they were using..." Again he paused, knowing he hadn't really said as to what he was discussing. "The Golden ratio, I mean." He took another bite of his sandwich, picking up a napkin and dabbing at the corners of his mouth before swallowing. He then nodded his head... yes. It was rather odd.

Lucas had been quietly sipping tea while others arrived. He didn't know why he never chose to speak to anyone in his classes. He was focused on what he was doing and didn't want to be distracted from it. Especially in Arithmancy. This was one class he really needed to pay attention in. So as the others entered, Lucas kept quiet and doodled on his notebook.
When the class began, the Ravenclaw opened his notebook and was ready to take notes. He turned to look at the boy who was speaking, raising an eyebrow. O...kay, then... Lucas thought to himself, sort of rolling his eyes. Turn his attention to the paper, the Eagle started doodling once more.

He could not ignore those voices around him. Try as he might, even in sleep he heard them. He never heard the full statement though, as he was not trying to hear it. At any rate, the speech infiltrated his subconscious disrupting his dreaming.
The classroom was recreated in his mind, the room darker around the edges, and the door out had been replaces with an arch leading outside. He could hear Drewbie talking to the girl he did not know. Bodies in the room began to form, and his mind tried to place them in relation to where he sat. If they were slightly off it would not have mattered. The outline of a Drew was created to the side, faceless, but with a full head of hair it continued to babble on about a sister. To which the image of a similar outline was created, without features. A poor representation of a sister that Dante would never meet.
Another form took shape, this one just a mouth speaking gibberish as it floated positioned over the chair. It began to form coherent thought, and the voice of Davenport came through. Something about a Golden Radio. The mind wandered, as it often does, to a radio playing a portion of The Magic Flute. The Mozart composition was not coming from the environment around him. It was entirely from his head.
The classroom changed to a concert hall before the dreamer's eyes. And upon the stage stood a figure somewhat stating, and somewhat singing a response to the professor. Al stood with a name tag on his shirt [Hello, my name is ALEXANDER] written across it. He continued to mumble about this and that, more about the Golden Radio. An enjoyable performance to be sure. Applause roared from the audience after he was finished. Though from what Dante could hear, the imaginary Al could hardly sing. They probably were applauding his being done. But the show continued, the curtain would open again, and he wondered who would be the next to show what they could do.
He shifted slightly and smiled in his rest. The dream was entertaining to be sure, so he continued to sleep through the class. It was one of the most relaxing times he had in the class. Not that drawing or putting down notes about the day's lesson was not relaxing. Sleeping just had a much nicer quality to it.

"OOO! I just read about that in my research on Fibonacci!" Drew cried out, forgetting he still had a mouthful of sandwich. Once a small shower of crumbs left his mouth, he sheepishly wiped his hand across his mouth and swallowed properly, glad his grandmother hadn't seen him. She was already complainin he had lost what little manners he had since coming to Hogwarts.
"I haven't gotten very far in the connection, but apparently there is one. And to... dun dun DUN! ...Pythagoras too," Drew continued, remembering all to well the snoozefest of a class that had covered the famous mathematician. "Golden Ratio also ties into tesselations and nature and, yeah, like Alexander said, everything."
Drew knew he was just saying stuff everyone had already heard, but he was kind of excited it tied into his research project.
