Kylie walked in to the astronomy classroom closely following professor Solis who looked liked she had her hands full at the moment. She made her way over to one of the seats that were near the other girls in the class. She was just glad to have made it to the class on time. This was a nice change since it seemed like she was running late to all of her classes today.
Hearing that they were welcome to a cup of hot chocolate and a blanket Kylie set all of her stuff down on her desk and went up and got herself one of each. Walking back to her seat she sipped her hot chocolate slightly.
((She's not late she made it just in time))

((REMEMBER: please do not RP being late. >.< It forces me to be mean and take away points, I hate doing it))
If it was something that Solis couldn't stand it was tardiness. She seemed really mean about it, but it was a little thing that could easily be avoided. Kylie was lucky since she was on time and early.
Solis was strange, she could be very nice or very mean. Today, she would be very nice-- but not to those who were late. She decided to forgive Kylie since she took a hot chocolate. Solis had made the chocolate especially for her students, so she was happy to see them enjoy it. She looked at the clock

Providing Lianna with a blanket basically sealed her overall decesion, the hot chocolate was merely a bonus. As Professor Solis set the items down, Lianna waited for everyone else to claim theirs before even moving from her chair. After retrieving both a mug of hot cocoa and a rather interestingly colored oceana blue blanket, the Hufflepuff lass returned to her chair and lay her head down since she now had a pillow. The hot chocolate remained to one side.
Her moment of rest was to be shortlived however as Professor Solis chose that moment to start class. Telescopes. What could they be looking at tonight, mind you Lianna didn't know much about the constellations but she did always find a clear night to be one of the prettiest things around. Eyes slightly weary, and the placed with the perfect opportunity to sleep, it was amazing Lianna was actually planning on paying attention.
Sleep could come later, prety view took priority. Unless they were cleaning the telescopes, then she would definitely be sleeping.

Since David hadn't really said anything, Matty decided to quickly get up and grab a hot chocolate and blanket for herself. Pulling out a rather large purple one, she also grabbed a nice dark hot chocolate. "Thanks Professor." she added before heading back. Smiling and walking back to behind David, and behind the desk she was sitting on before sitting back on the chair. Smiling she looked back to Jynx, who wasn't that far away, but still. Then looking up to Professor Solis, Matty smiled and nodded even though she had already greeted her. Tonight really was wonderful as she looked out at the stars.

Once Ty got back to his seat Jynx took his hot chocolate out of Ty's hand muttering thanks as he did so. He couldn't wait to try some of it. It wasn't like he needed it to stay awake or anything, because he was already to hyper for his own good this late at night, but he was really in the mood for something chocolate. After taking a sib he sat down the cup on his desk and returned Matty's smile waiting for Solis to start class.

After giving Jynx his hot chocolate Ty resumed his seat and began drinking his own hot chocolate wondering if Solis would let them have another glass once they finished with this one. He was already a quarter of the way through his and could tell that it wasn't going to last very long. "I wonder if she cares if we have another one after we're finished with this one," Ty said voicing his thoughts in Jynx's direction as he set down his mug on the desk.
He could tell class was about to start and knew that if it was going to be a lecture class the answer was probably no just to avoid the sheer interruptions. Although he still held out home that it wasn't and that they could have all of the hot chocolate that they could possibly want.

Abby opened her eyes slowly as the sound of Solis' voice and student chatter rang in her ears and the wonderful smell of hot chocolate drifted under her nose. Lifting her head off her arms and looking around, Abigail remembered where she was and a fearful expression took hold of her face as she glanced at the professor. Had she seen the girl asleep? Most likely, but than again she hadn't said anything to her or deducted points thus far.
Wiping a little line of drool from her lips and rubbing her eyes awake, the Huffle stood up (careful not to knock over the telescope set up beside her) and made her way down the coliseum stairs to the center of the room where the hot chocolate and blankets were. A few students were already down there gathering the supplies, so Abby assumed the whole class was supposed to do that. She smiled innocently at Solis and quietly said thank you once taking a mug for herself and a maroon blanket. She swiftly traveled back up the few steps and to her desk, the one right behind Kylie, and crouched over her steaming beverage so that she could feel the warmth (setting the blanket down on her lap and still glancing nervously around the classroom).

Solis cleared her throat and projected her voice across the room. "Today will be a very laid back day, students! Please help yourself to more hot chocolate.” She looked in the direction of Jynx and gave him a hint of a smile. “We will be creating a star map of the Winter sky of the Western hemisphere. Today is a clear night, so we have ideal conditions. It’s a bit cold, so please stay warm… I would like you guys to pair off into pairs or groups of three!”
She waited for them to do as she told them. “You only need one star map per group,” Solis started handing out thick parchment with a few reference points (such as the North Star, Polaris and where north and south were). “I would like you to locate as many stars as possible with your team-mates.” She would continue after they began to pair off. There were further instructions, but she didn’t want to overwhelm them with so many things to do.

Yes! More hot chocolate! Ty thought as he listened to what the professor was saying, barely catching the part about pairing off. He thought that it was a given that him and Jynx would work together, but decided he would ask anyways. "So Jynx, you and me huh?" he said indicating them two being a group.
As professor Solis handed out the piece of parchment that they were to fill out he couldn't help but think that this might actually be kind of fun. Already on sugar overload from his first cup of hot chocolate he just couldn't wait to get started.

"Sounds good," Jynx said taking another drink of his hot chocolate and wondering whether or not Matty was going to come up and pair with them or if she was going to pair off with one of the other students she was sitting by. Either way was fine with him, especailly considering the limited number of students in the classroom. Although he had to admit that some part of him hoped that she didn't pair up with that psycho of a Gryffindor.
"Well lets get started," Jynx said with a smile taking the piece of parchment from the professor and laying it out on his desk and grabbing one of his quills out.

Mark walked up to the front of the classroom to collect his Hot Chocolate before walking back to his seat towards the back of the room. He really, really, really didn't want to do this. He hated group work with a burning passion. And for what reason? He really didn't have one. Mark just sat quietly in the back, waiting for the proffessor to pair up those who couldn't find their own partners.

Taking out her Quill, Matty took the piece of parchment the Professor gave out, saying a quick "Thanks." before looking to David... though she didn't know his name, her writer did. Smiling she said "So Gryffindor no name... have you got any preferences on who you want to pair off with?" now smirking a bit. Matty wasn't going to let him be a loner and not have any to pair off with, however in any case, now she would've already been with Jynx. In this circumstance though, it was gonna be very rude to walk off on David, and anyhow, she could always do with more friends.
Scanning over the star map however, she saw in the conner of her eye Jynx and Ty pairing up. At least he won't be on his own then. she happily thought looking back to the map.

Kylie looked around to see who hadn't partnered up with anyone yet. Noticing Abigail sitting behind her she turned around wondering whether she Abigail would mind partnering up with her. "Hey Abi," Kylie said with a small smile, "Want to partner up with me?"
Taking the piece of parchment from the professor she smiled and said thanks. Setting it on her desk she gazed around wondering if they wer suppose to start right off or not.

Mapping the stars? For some reason it sounded too simple, but maybe that was because of the hour. She couldn't vocally complain of course, after all, she now had a free blanket and hot cocoa, though she doubted the Professor would let her knowingly leave with either. Taking a moment to glance around at her fellow classmates she noticed they were getting a few things together, as well as partners. Why did it take partners to put dots on paper? Oh well.
Frowning at having to leave her warmth, the second year Huffle found herself scanning the other students once more, this time looking for a free sould to partner with since it seemed to be required. Mark...and...Mark...wow, some choice she had eh? Oh well, at least she knew who she was working with a bit better than most of the rest of them. And so with blanket, hot cocoa and other such belongings in tow, the lass took a seat next to him. "Looks like we're all that's left, so...umm, partners?" Lianna questioned with a half smile.

Abby first looked at Lianna as she sat next to Mark, and a slight twinge of pain pierced her stomach. Redirecting her attention to Kylie, the second year replaced her slight frown with a smile and nodded after yawning. She turned back to her desk and rummaged through her bag until she found the only pen she owned and rarely used (though it came in handy when using ink bottles got messy). The Huffle slipped the pen into her cloak pocket which hung off the back of her chair (she had grown accustomed to bringing it for class just in case they went outside) and looked up at Professor Solis for further direction.
