When he turned to look at the direction Celina had just gone off in, she prayed he hadn't seen her. Not that it would've been entirely a bad thing, but considering their plans for the very next day, it wasn't something she hoped for either. Gulping hard she nearly froze while she tried to answer his question, she couldn't vey well lie outright but she could spin the truth a little. "I think it was cat."
Felicity again looked over in the direction and wished Celina's cat Emerald was only a pace behind her. After all, every other time she saw the girl the black feline was with her, why shouldn't she be this time as well? "I don't like cats very much," she elaborated hoping he would think the look on her face was because of the idea of a cat being nearby. Again she let her eyes look over in the general direction, Come on Emerald be close by. "Do you like cats?"

Slight footsteps could be heard coming toward her. She held her breath tightly and hoped Frlicity could distract the Prefect for her to escape through one of the tunnels the younger Raven, Evie, had shown both her and Anna weeks before. She didn't exactly know where it would lead her, but right at that very moment, anywhere would be better than there.
I think it was a cat. She heard Felicity tell the Sytherin. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do much for distracting as she kept going on, probably to make it so he stop coming near the corner. Celina couldn't tell without looking. Of course, the one time that Felicity seemed to be talking the most about cats, Emerald was no where in sight. She highly doubted that she had even come out with her tonight, not that it would matter. What would a cat, without it's owner, be doing out here this late at night? There was nothing she could do...she waited, and as she did, she heard the stairs begin to yet again shake and prepare to shift.

[sorry I didn't get back to this sooner and this post is really crappy ] Still wary, Dragos decided to let it go and he began moving backwards, going back to where the girl sat. Still watching the shadow, the Slytherin answered her somewhat distractedly. "Yeah," he replied slowly, "They're alright." He wasn't actually sure what she had asked him. Returning to his spot next to the girl, Dragos tried to focus his attention on her, even with his eyes shifted back to the shadows periodically.

"I'm not very keen of them. They can be quite mean, and they're such loners," she added to the conversation. "I'd much prefer an animal that doesn't like being left alone. What's really the point of a pet that doesn't like to be cuddled constantly?" Of course, she knew this wasn't entirely true, Emerald was evidence of that, but it was what she had to come up with on the spot.
On the other hand, the squirrel she wanted probably wouldn't be much of a cuddler, but she could do her best to change that about him. The Slytherin kept looking back over to where Celina hid and it wasn't doing anything good by it. What could she do to distract him more? Besides going to the shifting stairs? But the blond didn't really want to leave his side, she liked him already and didn't really want the conversation to end. "I'm trying to catch a squirrel."

[Don't worry about it, we can work off of almost nothing Isn't that right Felicity?] It was time for her to make her move. But how? They were standing in front of the shifting stairs, and Celina didn't exactly know where the tunnel was per say. She'd have to look for a few minutes to find it, and by then wouldn't the Prefect catch her? It was probable.....very probable. She'd have to be very silent, and sink even further into the shadows. Or maybe...she could even go back to the room of requirement. She could make a room and sleep there for the night. It would be probably more safe...unfortunately, she had forgotten to feed Emerald....so that wasn't logical either. Darn, she slightly groaned to herself biting her lip. What was she going to do? Well, she definitely couldn't just stand there. Moving ever so slightly, she had to get across the hall to the other wall. That's where she remembered the secret passage being...unfortunately, it would put her in direct eye sight of the two sitting just around the corner. She had to be silent....she had to be cunning.....she had to be everything she wasn't. Slowly walking to the wall, hardly breathing....she pressed her whole body up against the wall, and began to knock softly hoping Felicity could keep the boy distracted long enough for her to escape.
