After waking up early and running into Tianne and a really foolish Gryffendor that decided to go polar bear swimming in the great lake, it was time for part two of Jason's morning work out. He walked into the Room of Requirement. Jason had not slept well the previous night. One would think because of school work and other related activity's would be the cause of his insomnia. That was not the case. Jason watched the room turning a wooden floor room with a punching bag that hung from the center. Jason grabbed the tape that appeared along with a bench and sat down and began to wrap his hands with the tape. He kicked off his running shoe and socks and layed his wand holster with his wand in it on the bench.
He walked up to the bag and began to punch. The vivid dream of the day his father was taken out flashed through his mind. The ring announcer walked to the center of the ring. "the fallowing contest is for the World Dueling Championship, Introducing first the challenger from Paris France, Rey Le'Cruset! the announcer announced as the crowd cheered Jason kept at the bag, Right hook, left jab, hitting the bag harder and harder. Introducing next, He is the current World Dueling Champion, Malcolm Williams!!! The announcer yelled as the crowed went crazy
Jason Still kept at the bag now adding kicks, left, right the dream was so vivid he could hear the crowed in his ears. The duel went on for hour, neither his father or Rey let up for on second, when the one hour mark hit Rey began to fire dirty spells and hexes at Jason's father
Jason, felt rage start to set in he kept at the bag, hitting it at a faster and harder pace Punch, then kick, Jason was hitting the bag so hard that blood started to run from under the tape and run down his hands, as the dream kept flashing through his mind.
Jason's father was hit at the knees from behind with a bone crushing force, the crowed could hear the bones in his fathers knees collapse, the duel was over, Rey had defeated his father and took the Championship from his father, and on that day along with his fathers career, the fighting spirit of Jason's father died
Jason's hands began to bleed more and more as he beat on the bag with all of his strangth. The face of Rey LeCruset appeared on the bag. Jason screamed in a fiery rage "AHHHH" he bellowed as he hit the bag on more time causing it to explode and sand to fly all over the room. Jason stood still, His eyes glazed over from rage, and his hands dripping blood. Sweat rolled off his forehead, and his heavy breathing did not allow him to hear the person walking in behind him....

"You want to be careful." said Henry
He had been on his way to the room to use it to practice some new spells, and, if he had time, perhaps work a bit more on the small leather journal he had been enchanting for the last few months. His surprise had been when he came to the seventh floor corridor with the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet, only to find the room's door already revealed. He had entered to see one of his fellow sixth years, Jason Williams of Ravenclaw, beating on a punching bag. He had closed the door, and locked it behind him so that nobody else would see the door in the wall, and walked forward to watch Jason until he stopped in exhaustion, or frustration, either way, he stated his previous comments and continued.
"If you don't lock the room, anybody can just walk in."

Jason turned around, His eyes returned to normal, he stared at the kid for a minuet and the recognized him for the study groups that were held behind the back of the Hogwarts staff. Henry Lordings, a Gryffendor form his year. he walked to the bench ad sat down. He smiled when he made the comment about locking the door. "Yeah I need to lock that thing more often, just I didn't sleep well last night, just working out some frustrations...." his voice trailed off when he looked back at the exploded bag. He looked back at Henry. "Okay, alot of frustrations" He said with a smirk. He began to take the bloody tape off his hands. "So what brings you up here"

"Well I was hoping to practice some new spells." said Henry, brandishing a volume of Practical Defensive Magic and it's uses against the Dark Arts "Ordered it last year, it's got eight hundred spells in the set, dreadfully useful it is."
He regarded the book fondly, he had had to resort to getting his father to buy the set for him. It would have looked far too suspicious if a Hogwarts student came in wanting to buy a set of books on defense. His father was indeed a muggle, but that didn't stop him being shameless in his interest in all things magical; Last summer, whilst in Diagon Alley buying his school things for his sixth year, Henry had convinced his father to go into Flourish and Blotts book store and buy the last copy of the set. Henry remembered giving his father his wand and telling him to make it visible, but not terribly so; The people in the store were none the wiser to Henry Sr.'s true status, and had gladly sold him the set in exchange for two-hundred and sixty-nine galleons and seven sickles.
"I was also going to work on this..." he pulled out a small and handsome leather bound journal from an inside pocket which he had been enchanting for several months. "...My uncle made it; He's a bookmaker and scrivener. He gave it to me for my last birthday, I've been enchanting it with various spells to give it permanent qualities. Infinite pages, can only be read by me, you know, normal stuff mostly."
The book was bound in fine brown leather and closed shut on a golden clasp with a lock in it. Set into the binding was a small silver plate with the words Henry Lordings Jr. engraved into it. His uncle Peter, his father's brother, was one of the best books craftsmen in the United States; He did not know that his nephew was a wizard, the Ministry had not seen fit to designate him a need-to-know person, and so performing magic in front of him was still a breach of the International Statute of Secrecy. After wondering vaguely whether or not his uncle would ever know about magic (He shared his brother, Henry Sr.'s love of all things fantastical), Henry looked at Jason and said.
"So what was the punching bag about?"

Jason Took the rest of the tape off of his hands and looked over at the book. He smiled "Nice, Defensive spells are good, so is knowing how to defend yourself" Jason said looking at his bloody fist. Jason looked at the leather journal, when Henry told him about it he grinned, May i should get one of those for Kaylee, the thought to himself about his cousin in Seattle. Kaylee was one of those diary girls who spent money on diary after diary filling them with her personal life. "Thats awesome, so you can take notes on what you learn, thats smart"
Jason looked over the exploded bag when Henry asked about it. "ha ha yeah" he said "My moms brother, lives in Seattle he used to be a United States Marine, and he taught me there work out, so to help my self stay in shape I'm up every early to work out" Jason said. He looked at the punching bag "looks like i went a bit overboard" he said scratching his head.

"Yeah maybe you did." said Henry, regarding the bag for a moment before tucking the small leather journal back into an inside pocket of his robe. He looked around the room for a moment before continuing.
"You said your uncle lives in Seattle?" asked Henry "Where exactly?"
Seattle had been Henry's home for just under thirteen years, he knew the place well. Wondering pointedly whether Jason's relatives lived near where he used to live, Henry fixed Jason with a rather piercing blue stare; How unlikely was it that two students of Hogwarts, members of the study group no less, would both have some relation to the Rainy City.

Jason turned to Henry and smiled "He lives near Madrona" he said getting up. He grabbed his wand and walked over to the bag. He pointed his wand and and mutter a spell that returned the bag to its original state before he killed it. "He's a crab fishermen now, him and my Aunt Zoey, Hes gone most of the year for King Crab and Obilio Crab" Jason said returning to the bench. He sat down "There Muggles obviously, My whole moms side of the family" He said tending to his busted up hand. "so I'm guessing your familiar with the City"

"Yes. Lived there for almost thirteen years, I did." said Henry, to spite the fact he was born and spent most of his life in the United States, he carried on in a superbly English accent, a product of his learning most of his speech from his mother when he was young. "Our house was near University Circle, in Ravenna-Bryant."
For a moment, Henry was lost in reminiscence of his old home, then he continued.
"Half my family are muggles too; My dad's a weapons, and body armor designer in Oxford, firearms you know. One of his brothers, Peter, still lives in New York, he's a bookmaker." he patted the square shaped lump in his robe pocket "And a damn good one at that. The other one, James, lives in Houston, he's a professor at Rice University."
Henry's family on his father's side was well endowed where finances were concerned, and his grandparents had afforded to send all three of their sons to fine schools, and ultimately to Harvard, where Henry's grandfather was alumni. Henry, his father, and his uncles, however, gave not the slightest indication of their wealth, preferring not to be judged by their financial station. Henry's distant cousins, grandsons and daughters of his grandmother's brother, had shown him the failings of greed, and he had done anything in his power to try and avoid becoming the kind of spoiled brats that he considered his first cousins to be. Still, his family lead a pleasant life in some of the finest areas of the cities in which they dwelt. He struck himself out of this reverie and moved back to the here and now, looking once more toward Jason.
"Madrona...Madrona..." Henry had to think for a moment before it occurred to him "Oh yes! That's not far south of where I lived."

Jason smiled "thats cool, Like i said my aunt and uncle fish for crab" he said "my dad is Malcolm Williams, former world champion pro duelist, and my moms a doctor" Jason said looking at his hand. Jason spent every summer at his Aunt and Uncles working on the docks and the Boat. Jason looked over at his wand holster and put his wand back in it. "My Uncle is the captain of the Fishing Vessel Vasaillis" Jason said setting his wand back on the bench. "I don't live there i just spent my summers there wile my dad travels and my mom works."

"I see." said Henry "Well, in any case, it's a fine area to hang out."
Henry's mind lingered on his old home, and then moved back into the here and now where he was gate crashing someone's private time. He cast around for a change of subject, and then something hit him like a ton of bricks.
"Wait a moment." said Henry, suddenly registering what Jason had just said "Malcolm Williams?...Isn't he the ex-dueling champion from about ten years ago?"
He remembered when he had gone to that fateful match between Smith and Erstürmen; He remembered seeing the wall of fame of all the past champions listed in chronological order. Malcolm Williams had had his picture displayed on the wall right before some Frenchman named Rey Le'Cruset.

Jason laughed a little "yup thats him, and thanks to that jerk Le Cruset his career was ended and my dad has to spend the rest of his life in a wheel chair". Jason balled his fists "The dueling commission determined that Le Cruset used a crippling spell on purpose and striped him of the world title" Jason got up and waled over to a window that looked over the grounds. "they determined that my fathers knees were beyond repair Evan for magic, I was the little child that ran out into the arena when it happened" Jason said not taking his eyes off the grounds, "Now every time I try to sleep I have a flash back of that day" Jason turned back to Henry, "they say that Le Cruset was arrested for attempted murder a few month back and escaped the cops, which is fine by me because if I see him" Jason's eyes glazed over again "I will kill him"

Henry's eyes traveled over the newly repaired punching bag, and came to rest upon Jason, who was standing near the window, looking out at the grounds.
Don't tell him Cruset is on the champion's wall.
Why was he on the wall though? If he had been stripped of his title for cheating, then why, on earth, was he still listed as one of the great champions of the dueling circuit?
Henry tried not to think about what kind of foulness had been behind such treachery, and once again returned his thoughts to the here and now, where they belonged. He cast around for something to say, and quickly found it.
"So that's what was up with the bag?...venting a few frustrations?" Henry said, watching Jason closely.

Jason looked back at the bag then over to Henry, "yeah I had one of my flash backs last night" Jason said walking over to the bag "wanna go at it, I don't mind" he said pointing at the bag. Jason, like many mornings found himself either tuning the room into a wight room and lifting, or a gym with a punching bag or a speed bag. Every morning Jason's work out included what he estimated as a 3 mile run around the grounds, then came up to the Room and lifted wights for an hour or went at a punching bag for an hour. "I'll hold the bag in place if you want" Jason said with a smile

Henry smiled wryly.
"I'm afraid I'm not one for punching bags and such." said Henry "Now dueling, that's another issue completely."
Dueling had been Henry's one true obsession for years; Not to use it as a sport, but to prepare himself for the days when his Auror duties would demand nothing short of perfection on that score. His mind was a positive encyclopedia of spells; Offensive, Defensive, Tricks, Distractions, and whatever else have you that could be useful in a duel, he knew it. He had, a long time ago, practiced fencing for several years at a muggle private school, but that was about as close to a physical workout he had ever gotten other than the mile or so he does with his dad on the weekday mornings during the summer break.

Jason grinned, Dueling was one of his strong points as well, after all after being trained in it by his ex-world champion father, and trained in hand to hand by his uncle, Jason could fight, Magical and non magical. Jason walked over and picked his wand up from the bench, "alright well, you came up here to work on spells, lets practice a couple." Jason said stretching a bit. Jason forgot about his hands, that by now had stopped bleeding. Still after a three mile run and a rip session on the bag Jason still had a lot of energy. "So whats up first"
