Scarlett had found that the Seventh Floor was the most abandon of them all, it was perfect. It was perfect for getting away ffrom all the chaos of the school and she had figured this out. She had brought parchment and a quill to this place to try and write a letter to her brother, checking up on her dad to see how he was. She was worried about them, since not being away from them for this long, she had never been away for this long. She sighed as she began to write...
Dear Brother,
Which is all she wrote. She searched her mind but couldn't find the right words to express her feelings. She sat there on the cold stones tring to find the words she wanted to say. The parchment sat on her lap for a long time with only those two words on it. She leaned her head back on the wall and closed her eyes, letting a sigh slip out.

Huffing and puffing could be heard further down the corridor, as well as soft thudding, which was gradually getting closer to where Scarlett was sitting. Not that Michael had any idea that she was there, anyway Michael was on his daily jog through the castle as he found it kept him fitter than just running laps of the Quidditch pitch, thanks mainly to the large amount of stairs he had to climb.
There was a small wet patch on his yellow singlet, which had became apparent two floors ago, that stuck to his skin, but he ignored it and all the lactic acid building up inside his muscles which begged him to stop.
Finally after seeing Scarlett sitting there alone, and on the seventh floor he figured he should stop for a quick break, or longer depending on how the conversation turned out.
"Hey Scarlett"
He said in a cheerful tone, well as cheerful as he could be when he was out of breath.

Jethro had no idea where he was. The boy's blue eyes skirted from one place to another, trying to recognize where his Common Room rout was, but nothing became familiar. This was probably because the boy had spent the previous hour or so asleep in the Great Hall, lying on the song seat of the Gryffidnor banner. The youngster sped up the sixth corridor, and taking a left around, up a stair case, and through another corridor. Seriously, now he was freaking out.
Jet's face was pale, his eye frowned slightly, and the boys hair was pushed down flat by a beanie that had two side flaps on either side. A black hoodie was pulled over a white T-shirt he had, the hood down, and the boy had a pair of gray, faded, ripped jeans on. The boy then continued to run up the hall way, not noticing the figures, one seated on a cold stone wall, the other apparently standing. Jethro's feat manged to slip on the marble floor, and caused the small boy to fall and land flat on his face.
So there he was, scared, out of breath, in a corridor, lost. If only Tristan was here to show he how to get back to the Common Room.

Scarlett opened her eyes to find none other then Michael Rolen standing infront of her. "Hi Michael," she smiled up at the boy, noticing he was sweating and breathing heavy. "Mike," came quickly after, she still wasn't sure what to call him. "O.k. which do you prefer?," she asked him as she looked up at him, this would help her for once and for all decide what she was going to call him.
The older girl just happened to be looking over to where the younger boy was when he fell. "Ohh," was all she could say, quickly getting up from her spot. "Look at the poor kid, let's go see if he's o.k," she told Mike as she ran to where the boy was laying. "Are you alright?," she asked a bit of concern in her voice.

Jethro shook his head, but not at the girl who was now in his presence. The boy's blue eyes flickers across to her face, and a small smile came over him. "Yeah thanks, I'm alight." he said, pushing up and sitting with his legs out-stretched on the marble floor. "I guess i slipped on the floor and fell," Jet said sheepishly, looking down to his hand, that were red and stinging. The Gryffindor then looked around, before finding an older boy also around.
"Er, by any chance are either of you in Gryffindor?" he said, the smile sliding off his face, as Jethro's eyes found their way back to the eyes of the girl. She looked nice, but he hadn't really met many Gryffindor's, so he wasn't sure whether either of them were in his house.

Michael had been about to answer her question when he heard the thug behind him and saw her run over there after pointing out the young boy to him, Michael jogged over and watched as the younger boy pulled himself up.
"You sure, that was quite a fall you took, and nope we are both Hufflepuffs but I could show you the way to the Gryffindor tower if you want?"
He asked the boy, with a sincere smile on his face and as a prefect you needed to always be willing to help other students out and plus this may impress Scarlett and give her a chance to get to know the castle better.

Jet stared at the boy slightly. Before pulling his legs in, and standing up, straightening his beanie. "Yeah, I'm find thanks." the boy said with a smile, giving them a finale nod. How did he know where the Gryffindor Tower was? But then again, as an older student he was ought to know his way around, thus finding out the secret places that all of the Houses had. His heart rate slowed down a bit. "That'd be great!" he said with a warming grin, looking up the the tower older boy. "I'm Jethro Stevens, or Jet if you like." he said, extending a hand. Ah, the pleasures of being a cute, lost, innocent first year.

She smiled at the first year, he had looked so lost and scared, she could understand the lost part. She was still a little lost at time but always manged to find her way around. Scarlett looked up at the Huffle boy and grinned as he asked the youngster if he was o.k. She was glad to hear that the Gryffindor was alright.
"Well, at least one of us does," she laughed, happy that Mike was around, if the boy would have found Scarlett alone she wouldn't have known where to lead him. "Nice to meet you, Jet," she replied, shaking his hand. "I'm Scarlett and I have no clue where the Gryffindor tower is but he does," she glanced up at Mike and waited for him to introduce himself to the boy and to lead the way.

Michael shook Jethro's hand after Scarlett had and smiled at the younger boy. If there was one thing everyone at Hogwarts knew, it was how terrified you were when you first got here, and it seemed this boy knew exactly how it went down.
"And always a pleasure to meet someone new Jet, and I'm Michael, Michael Rolen"
He flashed a smile to both Jethro and Scarlett, before motioning for them to walk in the direction of the Gryffindor Common Room, which suprisingly wasn't too far away really.

The Huffle girl smiled at the two boys and then followed the path where her house mate had pointed, "So, which is it Mike or Michael?," she asked, grinning at him. He was going to answer her but when she ran over to the boy and without meaning to she had run away from him, too. Not that Scarlett didn't care it was just that her caring side came out, as she saw the boy hit the ground, and it was just her reaction to run over and see if the small boy was alright.

"Whatever you want to call me"
He said with a small flirtatious smile towards the girl, he really didn't have much preference to whether people called him Mike or Michael. They walked at a slow pace as Michael assumed they would be talking quite alot between each other

Scarlett thought about it as she looked at the boy up and down, she shifted her lip to one side and then she had it. "I think you look more like a Mike," she laughed. "So, I guess Mike it is," she added, returning the smile. "Oh, I was going to ask you, were you running from something," she asked since when he had reached her she had noticed his shortness of breathe and as she looked at him, he was still sweaty.

"Oh it's just a little training regime, I have going just to keep myself fit"
He said with a grin to her as he pulled a towel out of his backpack and wiping himself down with it before hanging it around his shoulders.
"Why, do you want to come with me next time?"

She grinned, at least he kept in shape, she had to keep in shape, too, due to her eating habits. She laughed as he asked her if she wanted to come next time. "Actually, yeah," she answered playfully.
"I just don't know if you'll be able to keep up with me,' she teased. Scarlett may not give of the impression of being a lean mean mechaine but she was sure she could keep up with Mike or at least put up a good fight.

"Cool, I'll let you know when I go next, I try to go at least twice a week though"
He said with a smile before hearing her next comment and nudged her playfully and poking his tongue out at her.
"We shall see hmmm"
This was turning out to be rather interesting
