"What's taking so long?" the girl questioned after what seemed like a long silence. She was dirty and tired and wanted to get this whole thing over with.
Of course, it would take more than a few hours time and a small talk to get any of this over with. Arianna just wanted to get the 'important' stuff out of the way so she could deal with the rest. Like a bath and the good nights sleep she didn't think she'd get.

"It's going to take a while," Drew told her, murmuring his words into her hair. His brain just wanted to fall asleep and forget it all, but he doubted it would last long. Professor Thorne's eyes would be haunting him fro a while, he was sure.

Resisting the urge to cry again and risk looking even more like a big baby, Arianna settled herself into Drew's arms, wrapping her own around him. Even with thoughts of Thorne's body lying on the floor of the shack running through her brain, the girl found herself dozing a bit. She would actually fall asleep for a few seconds at a time, only to wake suddenly, finding that very little time had passed since the group had gathered in the Headmistress' office. It was definately going to be a long day.

Somewhere between the time that Avery was murdered and her dashing up numerous staircases, Fiona had met up with Tamis. As soon as she had been notified of recent events, the Headmistress dropped most everything she was doing to get back to Hogwarts. She'd told her Deputy to deal with the staff members while she dealt with the students, as they were her biggest concern.
The fact that the murder happened within spitting distance of her students frightened her more than anything else. None of them, no matter how smart and clever they thought they were, were safe from whomever did this. She hated to admit it, but she felt a great deal of concern for them and a strange protectiveness. The school was put into a lock down; no one would be able to get out of the castle, and no one would be getting near the students.
Fiona, grim faced and all, hurried along up the revolving staircase. She gave the gargoyle to ignore any passwords for the time being and gave strict orders to only allow herself and the Deputy entrance. The door to her office swung open, and she threw the portrait hanging from her hands to the ground, not even taking pleasure from the grumpy squawk of annoyance that came after impact.
(Finally here. Sorry it took so long, homework bogged me down.)

Lilith turned to see who it was when the door opened. She was surprised to see someone she did not know. The headmistress. She didnt really know what the difference was between deputy or not but was interested in seeing who this new administrator was.
She looked at her and waited to hear the lecture and the yelling, maybe even an accusation or two, but she understood that after what had happened anybody would need a release. She shrugged and wondered still why they were called here, since they actually didnt witness it.

Jason had been walking around the room and looking at the things inside. He had never been in the Headmistress's office before. As he was walking around, he kept thinking about Prof. Avery's dead body on the ground. He knew that was one image that would stay in his head for a long time. When he heard the door open, he was brought back to earth. Seeing that it was the Headmistress herself he began to wonder what she was going to do to them.

Gulp. Gluping was all Tristan could do. He stared at the Headmistress for a long time. He thought they were going to get in trouble. But she hasn't even said anything yet, so there still was hope.

Fiona scanned quickly over the student's faces and felt a relief knowing that at least they weren't physcially hurt or freaking out, yet. That might come later when it all set it.
"Alright. I hope I won't keep you too long, I only need to know what each of you know about Avery's murder. What you saw when you got there, if you saw anyone suspicious, that sort of thing. Dont' leave any detail out, no matter how trivial it might seem." Fiona explained to them. "Anyone want to start us off?"
She opened a drawer behind her desk and took out a Honeydukes chocolate bar for each of them. She wasn't knowledgable in the Healing arts, but she did vaguely remember reading somewhere that chocoalte had at least some healing properties. Most of them probably hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast, but she was terrible at conjuring food and chocolate and a handful of butterbeers she brought out from the same drawer would have to suffice for them.

Arianna accepted the bit of chocolate given to her, but did no speak. She wasn't going to go first. No way, no how. It would take a lot of prodding to even get her to talk while surrounded by people she didn't know. Why couldn't Raynor be in here? Arianna would open up to her easily, but Ticloon was amongst those the girl didn't know and had a hard time trusting.
Nibbling quietly on her little piece of chocolate, Arianna felt none of the usual warmth and strength the snack usually gave. But it was something to destract her with while the other spoke and she waited her turn.

Drew looked up as the Headmistress spoke. He wasn't exactly sure what he knew... much less what would be of any value to the investigation.
"I was coming out of Three Broomsticks. Everyone was saying something happened at the Shack," he said. "When I got there, she was dead."

After Drew had told the Headmistress of what he did. Tristan made a comment saying, "And yeah, I was going to Honeydukes, and while I was walking toward it, I was eyeing on the shack then I heard the scream. After that, I ran and was the first one at the door, but I didn't go inside until Drew and Lilith did," he said to her.

Lilith nodded. "I heard a scream from the shack. I was curious and went to see what it was, and when I got there a bunch of people surrounded the entrance. I enetered first, but Drew was right behind me and we raced up the stairs...To find the dead Professor. Then, Arianna came as well from I'm not sure where...And then the help came from another Professor and then you came and then we left." She was panting in a childish voice, saying all that really quickly and proudly smiling when she had accomplished finishing what she was saying.

Since everyone else had started to speak now, he thought he might as well. "I was with Tristan going to Honeydukes and like he said, we heard a scream and ran toward the place. All of us ran inside to see what was going on. When we found Prof. Thorne, she was already dead." he said to the Headmistress.

Arianna listened as the others spoke, but remained silent as she continued to nibble her chocolate. She hoped she wouldn't have to speak. Her brain was already working out a story similar to ther other students. Then she would give the actual account once they had all left. Arianna didn't know why she felt the need to do so, but the feeling was there and she just didn't trust anyone in the room save one.
