Michael sighed and sat down on the wall and looked at Scarlett, he knew that these rumors were going around but why were they calling him a player, he was just very unlucky and misguided, but after his meeting with his Head of House last year about his whole relationship problem, he had sorted out everything and was a changed person.
"I wouldn't say I'm a player at all, I have just been unlucky with girls and keeping a relationship going strong, I used to fall in love very easily but over the last summer I have had alot of time to sort out things and to think over the chat I had with our head of house about it and I think I will be able to get it all sorted out"
He said to her, his eyes not leaving her once and a soft smile appearing on his lips.
"So yeah, does that answer your question or would you like to know more?"
He asked in a rather soft voice, he was very disappointed with how he had acted in the past and he knew it would always be there, haunting him.

Scarlett kept her eyes on his as he spoke and listened to his every word, she felt as though she could trust him and trust that what he was tell her was the truth. After all Scarlett always gave people her trust unless they did something to lose it but he hadn't.
She nodded, " Yup," she responded softly, not wanting to ask him anything else, if he didn't want to tell her more she wouldn't push. That was enough for her and she smiled at him as he took a seat on the edge. She glanced over once again, "Do you think it's safe to sit up there?," she asked thinking of joining him.

"I would find it hard to believe that the Professor's would agree with us sitting up here, but personally I think its safe enough"
He said with almost a sigh of relief after she had responded fairly well to what he had said, but then again the truth was alot better to recieve than silence, he had learnt that from his very short relationship with Seanna.

She shifted her weigh from foot to foot, still unsure if she wanted to join him. She leaned over the edge to see how far the fall was and it was a long one but it wasn't like she was afraid of heights, she felt pretty comfortable in high places, so she decided she'd take the risk.
"If I die, it's going to be your fault," she joked, as she claimed up and sat beside him, her legs dangling from the ground.

"If you fell, I would probably fall after you.......it would be rather hard to live with the thought of me causing your death on my mind"
He said as he slowly brought his left arm around her back and let his hand and arm hang loosely around her waist, he smiled at her again.
"So what were you doing before coming here? Were you home schooled or did you go to one of the other wizarding schools?"

She laughed at his response, "Oh, really now, you'd actually fall with me," she not beliving him, that he'd actually fall down after her.
She felt as he placed his arm and hand on her waist, she looked up at him and smiled, sheepishly. Scarlett was suprised at how she found herself falling for this guy. The words don't get too involved, running through her mind but this wasn't gettting too involved, not yet it wasn't.
"Well, I went to a private school over in Cali," she bega to explain a little bit of her history. "But, my dad got a better job offering her and we all thought a moved would be best," she grinned as she looked over at him. "And, have you always gone to Hogwarts?"

"Like I said it would pretty hard thing to live with, that I caused you to fall to your death"
He had looked up just in time to see her smile, a rather sheepish one at that and he sent a smile back her way. He had told himself that he wasn't going to fall for anyone this year and here he was going against his word, but hey could you really blame him.
"Yeah since my 3rd year, before than I was at a private school in Australia....but I was actually born over here, and when my parents moved over to here, we decided that a change of school would be best for me"

"If you say so," she laughed, as she trailed off.
She couldn't tell why, she was falling for him, she just was and her eyes watched as the sun's light became even dimmer, the clouds had been covering part of the sun and now the she could see the sun. "Look, that one looks like a sheep," she told him as she pointed out to the cloud, which she thought looked like a sheep.
"So, you've been here for a while," she replied. "How is everybody here at this school?," she asked woondering what he thought of the people here. "I was born here, too, but my mom instead she wanted to be close to her family, which is why we moved out to Cali. for so long," she paused to catch her breath, as she had spoken of her mom.

Michael's eyes searched the clouds as she spoke to him, looking at the one she had pointed out to him and smiled, because it did look like a sheep, almost too much like a sheep. Then she asked about everybody at the school, he turned back to her after she had stopped talking for at least a moment.
"Well the majority of people at the school I have found are good people, whom you can sit and talk to and what not, but then you get some whom you just want to avoid at all costs..........like for me that would be Seanna, I assume Matty would of filled you in on that, but thats just my point of view and I'm not going to tell you whom you should or shouldn't be making friends with because in the end it's up to you"

She smiled at him and didn't answer for a moment as she looked back out at the clouds. "I guess you'll always find people you don't get along with where ever you go," she laughed, as she remember back on what an old professor had once told her. "Like Mr. Scott used to tell us 50% of the people of thid world love you and 50% don't," she said, looking at him.
She swang her legs, slowly, up and down. Then, looked over the edge, "How safe do you think I'd be if I were facing the other way?," she asked, curiousity could be heard from her voice.

Mike studied the girl's body language for a moment, he wasn't really sure how safe it would be, as it would depend on the person and their sense of balance as to whether or not it would be safe to face the other way.
"Well that would depend on how safe you would feel in the position would it not? And not my interpretation of whether I found it as being safe or not?"

Scarlett's mouth moved from side to side as she studied the rnviroment, bitting down on her lower lip, slightly, a nervous habit since childhood. She glanced over the edge once more, then voted on not tring it, "O.k. well, since I don't want use both falling to our death, I won't attempt it," she laughed as her gaze fell on him.
She looked back out at the coulds, "What do you see?," she asked wondering what his eyes cought of the clouds. That were rather dark and gloomy for that matter.

Mike turned and smiled at her when she asked what he had seen and moved slightly so that he was behind her, he took her hand in his own and guided it towards the cloud shaped like a unicorn. His voice was but a whisper in her ear but he knew she would hear him clear enough.
"That cloud right there, looks just like a unicorn don't you think?"
He asked her, a smile gracing his lips once more

She felt as he smoothly made his way behind her and then took her hand in his own, a tiny smile escaping her lips. The breeze hitting her face, softly, making her bangs fall into her eyes. Taking her free hand she pulled them to the side, out of her eyes so she could observe the cloud he was speaking of.
She laughed as she looked at the cloud because she couldn’t distinguish if it was a unicorn or a bear. “If I tilt my head this way,” she spoke softly, since he was closer now, she didn’t have to speak louder then she was and tilted her head to the right. “But, tilt your head this way,” she advised him, as she took her other hand placing it on the side of his face and guided his head to the left.
“Now, doesn’t that look like a bear?,” she laughed, softly.

Mike felt her soft hand against the skin of his face as she was showing him the same cloud, just how she was seeing it, and from her angle, it actually did look like a bear. Mike laughed softly as he saw how silly he had been.
"You are right.....once more"
He said with a smile as he whispered back into her ear
