And so, another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had come and gone. The wizarding world was aflame with suspicion and upset, the Ministry was becoming stricter and more seclusive about their on goings. Ministry officials still roamed the school, even attended todays supportive festivities. Though, even without them, a damper would still hang over the celebrations. For one chair at the staff table would be empty, its seat doomed to be sat in by another as the former would never return to it.
The Great Hall nonetheless was decorated as usual for such events, the house tables dressed in rich table clothes of their appropriate colors, the staff bearing all eight.
The banners that hung limp above the tables and the hall however bore the Hogwarts Crest, unrevealing as to whom the House Cup would be presented to this year, though no doubt many hopes would be against Ravenclaw, who had won it for the passed three years. The ceiling reflected the sky above, clouded and mocking the light rainfall from outside, the only visible gloom overcasting the End of the Year Feast and thus the largest foreshadowing.
Foreshadowing or not, the giant Oak Doors were flung open, waiting to admit the merry students, happily waiting to return to their homes for the summer. But the question was, how happy would the wizarding world be waiting for them?

As Tristan was told for this day to come, he was excited. Again for the fourth time it was really good for him to say goodbye to his friends and then he had to leave off. He thought the Ravenclaw's would win the House Cup again. It was obvious, they we're all great just as everyone was else in the school. But it was still sad he was leaving again, but another year is coming.
He walked in sighing. He shook his head, he didn't want to leave but he has too. His only dream is to become an Auror, and that was still three years away to see if he met requirements then another three for training. Though he took his uncle six years because he wanted to become the head of a squad. As he walked in, he sat an empty seat at the Gryffindor table.

Walking in sporting school robes and wizard hat as expected, Layla smiled as she saw the Great Hall. She loved it when the school got together to eat, laugh, and enjoy the celebration. This was especially true when the celebration was for her House. She was confident they had won the House Cup again, but said nothing so as not to be responsible for jinxing their streak.
Though she knew she'd enjoy herself this evening, sitting with her Housemates and friends, she knew what the Feast meant. The year was over and she'd have to go home for the summer holidays. Any other time, she would have been fine. In fact she would have been glad. Hogwarts and her home were two every important parts of her life. But it wasn't the same anymore.
She saw a Gryffindor and smiled genuinely and decided to take this evening for what it was worth. She'd worry about everything else later. Walking over to the Ravenclaw table, she let her fingers drag across the tablecloth as she walked towards the middle, and chose an empty spot and waited for her housemates to join her.

Samuel was just skateboarding in an area where none of the teachers saw. He didn't get much of anything, so he had to stop. As he was walking holding his skateboard. He saw that the Great Hall was open. He heard it was the End of Year feast, boy eating and telling who won the House and Quidditch cup, wow.
He walked in and looked around and saw Tristan. He snickered slightly and walked to the Ravenclaw table. He saw another Ravenclaw who of course been here in Hogwarts very longer than he has. He smiled and sat then put his skateboard under the table. He waited for the others to come.

Fully outfitted in the proper school uniform (sans hat... she hated that thing) Allegra came into the Great hall. Her usually cheery expression was missing as was the commonly bouncy step. Ravenclaw was poised to win the cup and she was pleased, but if she had had a choice, she probably would have skipped this particular Feast. She just wanted to get on the train and get back home right now.
With a soft sigh, she sat across from Layla, offering her a small smile hello.

"YEEHAW!" Abigail yelled as the two Hufflepuffs galloped into the Great Hall. "GET ALONG, LITTLE DOGGIE!" She grinned as she hit the back of her wand against Krissy's side and clung to the girl's neck with her other arm. A jockey's hat replacing the traditional witch's black pointed one, Abby charged through the open doors atop the fifth year's back. Her eyes shone with happiness, and her grin spread across the length of her face. "Giddy-up!" Their horse and rider appearance looked quite funny and made for a memorable entrance.

"NEIGH!" Krissy yelled after Abi as she charged through, with Abi on her back. Krissy ran the length of the hall with Abi on her back, spun suddenly, bent over leaning foreward slightly, stood back on and charged back down to the other end of the halls. Abi was light as anything which meant Krissy was able to spin and do silly stuff without any difficulty at all. She had kept a tight hold of Abi's legs as she did them though, making sure abi didn't fall of her back.
The two looked completely insane. But they were hufflepuff's so what more did anyone expect? Krissy had a huge smile pasted accross her face. A little chaos right at the end of the year is always something to smile about in her opinion.

In comparison to the two Hufflepuff's... elaborate entrance, Charlie was sullen and quiet as she limped into the Feast. Yeah, limped. She had been making her own calculations of the past games and she knew that Ravenclaw was up for the cup again. With a sudden outburst of anger that she didn't even know, she roughly kicked her filled trunk and was met by reverberating pain that left her left foot weak enough to make it difficult to make a smooth walk.
Mumbling to herself, she slumped into the Slytherin table and covered her mouth as she launched into a list of curse words. "Bloody bird brains..." It wasn't so much as she personally hated them, she just hated their bragging rights. And their qudditch team. And their spirit.... Okay, fine. She had a bit of a vendetta against them.

Pat walked into the Hall after Abby and Krissy, laughing to himself at their antics. He almost couldn't believe that the year was already ending; it seemed like it had only just begun. He really didn't want the year to end, since it would separate him from most of his friends; at least he had something to look forward to over the summer. He walked toward the Hufflepuff table, though he didn't sit down just yet; the adrenaline was going through him to fast to let him sit down at the moment.

Brittany walked into the Great Hall. Instinctively she headed over towards the Gryffindor table. Looking around, she noticed that she seemed to be amoung the first to have arrived. She knew that most of the kids here would be very anxious to get this thing over with and for once she was one of them. The very night that Sora had asked her if she would come with him to New York she had started packing. Having packed an assortment of things from nice spring-y dresses to shorts and tank tops for her attire and then other necessaties. She was so excited and buzzed with joy.
Getting away from Hogwarts for the first time in a bit for a whole break and getting to be with Sora were just two reasons for the smile across her face. She couldn't wait for this feast to start and get over with just as fast. Leaning against the table, not wanting to sit yet, she surveyed the room for someone to converse with til this thing started.

Reina glanced in the Great Hall. She wasn't first which was a good thing. Reina made her way to her table and sat upon it cross legged as usual until the feast started or someone made her sit correctly at the table instead of on it. Reina glanced at Charlie moving her up in a hello and continued to survey the students. She was still peeved at knowing what she was going to do for the summer.

Cody had been informed of the End-of-Term Feast that was to be held at Hogwarts on the last day of the school year. He had been told by Tamis that he was more than welcome to attend. He was told by the Minister that he would attend, no-matter-what. Needless-to-say, Cody was in attendance.
He had worn his silver Wizengamot robes with the elegant, elaborate, embellished 'W' over his heart. His wand was safe in his hands as he walked into the Great Hall of the school that he had attended oh-so-many years ago.
He hadn't been told where to go once he had arrived. He and the other Ministry Officials couldn't sit with the staff nor with the students. So, with out anything better, Cody made due with standing by the open doors. It would atleast provide an air of protection.

Drew ran through the doors of the great hall, making a perfect sliding stop in front of the Ravenclaw table where he proptly broke out in a victory dance, accompanying himself with his own funky techno dance music. He knew how the points stood as was pretty confident about who would win the cup that year.

"I. Hate. This," Charlie said solemnly to Reina. She had already decided that she despised end of year feasts, even if the word feast was in the phrase. Now that she was really into qudditch world of Hogwarts, she couldn't have anything else but that on her mind.
She desperately wanted to grab her beater bat and maim Drew until her tension subsided, but she couldn't, mainly because it was starting to get crowded. Instead, she thought about next year, and wanted to plan out the season better.

Jen showed no emotion what-so-ever as she stomped in to the Great Hall. She saw no point to these things. Term was over. (A miracle in itself since she thought it would never end.) Everyone was leaving. The end. No more. So why celebrate? Why do anything at all? Nevertheless, it was a chance to pester Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs, so she came.
Making her way over to the Slytherin table, Jen consider her own summer momentarily. Rather than join in on the family getaway to Salem to see an old friend of her mother's; Jen was staying in Diagon Alley. While there she'd reread her schoolbooks out of boredom and prepare to repeat her fifth year. Exciting,no? She thought sarcastically as she took a seat at the far end of the table, close to the door in case someone started turning cartwheels.
