Bailey could hear his breathing, and giggled softly slowing her pace down more. She did not realize she was walking so fast. She laughed when he said black scared him, knowing he was joking.
"How do you know? Black might look good on you." she said, glancing at him. "Because a lot of times people don't realize a certain color might actually be their color, you know?" though, he probably did not know-- being a boy.

The thing was, the average person could probably keep up with Bailey, Brendan was just not 'in shape' from winter, as it was too cold to really do anything. Brendan found this pace much easier to cope with and with a sign of gratitude, he said quickly, "Thanks."
Brendan shook his head, "Brown is my color. Green is second best though, because I almost have almost hazel eyes." He said glancing into her jade eyes again. Yet again, he would probably surprise her, for he had a keen fashion sense. Yes, his unintelligence was showing again, for he had brown, and only brown eyes... Convincing parents.

Bailey gave him a small smile and nodded to him, "No problem." she chuckled. "Sorry, I walk way to fast. I think my parents had to have me on a leash when I was little because they would lose me in crowds." she laughed.
"Yeah, green normally goes well with people that have brownish color hair and eyes." she agreed. "I can wear green, but black goes best with my hair I think. I haven't quite figured out what my color is yet." she said, babbling on as well.

Brendan said a bit more relaxed now that he could walk and breathe at the same time, a very good thing, “I used to be locked in a room at home, so I didn’t go run around and bug my brothers… didn’t work really well though, because I climbed out the window and chased ‘em anyways.” Yes, the average talkative Gryffindors blabbering on and on about, technically, nothing.
Brendan took a good look at her before saying, “Ever considered a peach with a light brown? Or perhaps a white?” Yes, he was considering the fact that he hair right now was a strawberry blonde, rather then the darker crimson it would be in the darkness of the castle. He asked as a joke, “Gold and red?”

Bailey laughed and imagined a younger Brendan climbing through a window and chasing his siblings. It was all a rather funny scene, really. Looking at him, she realized he was looking at her and rose a brow, her cheeks growing rosy again.
"Hmm, white normally goes fine. I've never tried peach." she said. Catching his joke with the red and gold she smirked and rolled her eyes, "Ha, funny." she said, and nudged him softly in the side.

Brendan had not been expecting the nudge to his side and he said with a bit of exaggeration, like he normally would have, “Well, hey! Making a suggestion… I thought you were so keen on house spirit?” He smirked indigintaly and nudged her back with his right elbow, not too hard.
Brendan noticed her cheeks pinken. Embarrassment. Had she really been all that embarrassed for a student of her age looking at her complexion tell her what colors were likely to look good on her? Shrugging it off, he said, “Try it, it may work…”

"I never said I was into house spirit. I asked you." she retorted, "But I guess I am. Most are, aren't they. But I've never been to this sort of school so I'm not sure what to expect out of it." she told him.
"Ow!" she squealed, not because it hurt or anything but his nudge just surprised her as well. She should have expected it. "Okay, I'll try them. I promise." she said to make him feel better.

Brendan looked back at this and snapped his fingers. With a bit of a drawling voice he said, “Hey… that’s right. Ah well…” He listened to her response he answered, “Well some of the younger grades are, but most of the older just wear whatever.” He said pointedly to his scarf.
“I haven’t worn red or gold since… I was 12?” He said coolly, trying to appear a bit cooler then the standard already set upon himself. Yes, a perfect opprunity to trip and fall. He did quite that, yet he landed into a snow pile next to him. Smirking slightly with this sudden fall. He took his opprunity to pack himself a snowball, and throw it at Bailey, not caring if it missed or not, he ran behind a tree. He turned, his head peeking out from behind it, with a bit of a smile across his face, almost as if he was 8 rather then almost 16.

Bailey listened to the boy, turning her gaze back to the path again and did not realize he had tripped until she heard a thud. Looking back, her eyes widened. "Are you o--ahh!" she cut off as a wet, slightly hard snow ball came flying at her and hit her leg.
Brushing the snow off, she shook her head, "Oh, you are going to pay for tha-" she cut off again, and looked back up and realize he was not there anymore.
"Brendan?" she called, looking around and finally caught site of him peeking out from behind a tree. Scooping up a handful of snow, she began forming a snowball and approached the boy.

Sniggering slightly to himself, he bent over to pack himself another snowball. He clasped a handful in his large hands, and pressed it into a tight ball before looking around the tree looking to see her perhaps standing in the same place. Too bad he hadn’t been so lucky, for she was gone.
For one with red hair, she was hard to spot, even with the mass of snow which allotted the grounds of the school. Red should be quite easy to spot on these grounds, but he just couldn’t spot her. Blast his brothers for not playing hide and seek with him when he was younger.
Brendan looked around the tree, his snow ball clasped tightly in his right hand while his left held the side of the tree. He took two steps backwards still looking in the same direction as before, and bumped into something solid. He turned around, hoping it was a tree rather then a person. Unfortunatly, it was a person with familiar jade green eyes.
Brendan gave her a sweet smile. Perhaps too sweet, for as soon as he smiled, his left arm stretched back, and threw the second snowball at her. Laughing, he ran off again behind another tree.

Sneaking up on him around the other side of the tree, she held her breath. As he backed up, she could not step back fast enough and was run into. Smirking at his smile, she turned fast as he through the snowball and was hit in the back. "Ah, that was not fair!" she laughed.
Running after him, she scooped up more snow and packed it into the one she had already made. Following him behind the tree she threw the snowball and quickly scooped up more snow for the retaliation.

Brendan, although obviously good at snow fights, was a really slow runner, and the thickness of the snow wasn’t helping him out. He called back to her, even though she was about two meters away, “Since when was ‘fair’ an aspect of a snowball fight?”
Rising his right eyebrow, and bent over to make a snow ball. Packing it into a snowball, he laughed and looked around for her again. She hadn’t moved, but he was trying to be nice, and give her a chance. Snowballs were only fun if you got hit along with the person you were fighting with. And after all, he was having a snowball fight with a girl.
The snow ball hit him straight in the face. Smirking, he whipped his face down, and casually walked up beside the tree. He asked aloud to noone with obvious sarcasm, “I wonder where Bailey went.” Leaning against the tree right over her, he tried to keep a serious face, but failed horribly, just patting his snowball.

Bailey shrugged, "I don't know. I just thought I'd throw that out there." she smirked at his first comment. "Oh, sorry." she said, when the snowball hit his face.
Making another snowball as she ran behind the tree, she leaned against it catching her breath. But then she heard his voice and gasped, jumping out from behind the tree.
"BOO!" she laughed, and threw the snowball out of self defense.

"Not a problem. After all, snowball fights aren't supposed to be fair..." His countances deep in his cheeks hinted a smile, even though it was toothless. The second one hit his face again. He said trying to not laugh whipping his face off, "Well, I guess this means war."
Brendan's eyes chinked as he ran after her again, throwing the snowball. Yes, again, he fell. Although it was it not intentional, he still needed to make another snowball. Packing another one, he looked frantically for her... She couldn't have gotten too far away from him... Standing up again, he nearly fell again, but all the same, his chocolate brown eyes looked around interested where she could have gotten off to.

A few trees away, Bailey stood behind another tree. Peaking out around the tree she saw him trip not once, but twice. Each time she giggled. He was a funny one, Brendan. Not like most boys were, at least the boys she had been around.
Seeing him come near her tree, Bailey pushed her back against the tree and tried to keep extra quiet. Holding the snowball, she tossed it from hand to hand. Looking from side to side out of the corners of her eyes, she couldn't figure out where he was.
