The teen aged girl's hair whipped from side to side from the wind, as the girl made her way up the familiar steps to an even familiar front door of a even familiar castle. It was midnight, the sky was a jet black, with only a few sparkling stars scattering across it, there were two torches lighting the familiar steps that the girl was standing on.
Even though there was hardly any light at all, the girl knew her way up the stairs and to the door and the door handle that she slightly prised open as she stuck her head around and darted her brown eyes around the entrance hall as she took in the familiar surroundings. Her trunk making noises as she lugged it behind her, she sat it down on the floor and sat herself upon the trunk, like she did when the girl first arrived at Hogwarts.
Now the girl just had to wait for an even more familiar face as she waited in the darkness.

The owl had arrived the week earlier. Alerting her of her return. The exciement pulsed through her. Was it true? No-one oculd have spied the red head at the pace she was moving around the castle, cept for perhaps a flash of flaming red hair as she rushed to reach the place. Midnight was not a time to be wandering around the castle. But then again in these dark times no-where was truely safe.
Down the final staircase she came her feet hitting the solid ground of the entrance hall with a small thud as she had just jumped the final 6 stairs. Suddenly her eyes spyed her. "Seanna!" Krissy said outloud rushing foreward and picking her friend up off her trunk into a huge hug. "I've missed you" Krissy's face had a huge grin upon it and she spun her younger friend slightly in a hug.

So Krissy had got that owl Seanna had sent her telling her she was returning to Hogwarts, which was all well and good as Seanna hated being in the darkness and even with her wand, lumos wouldn't give her much light to go by.
The girl hugged Krissy back and then struggled out of Krissy's hug a huge grin on her face, "Krissy!, you got it!, I wasn't sure if you had got my owl or not..." The girl trailed off, just making out Krissy's red hair in the darkness.

"Yeah I got it" Krissy said casting a look behind her into the darkness. "It ambushed me while I was showering..." Krissy laughed slightly. "I tell ya he wasn't very happy about the water" Krissy smiled at the thought. The old had nipped her finger in frustration. But she saw it as its own fault. One thing Seanna would notice about Krissy was that her hair was much shorter than it used to be. She had cut it before their final quidditch match of the season. Krissy thought it looked good.
"How have you been?" Krissy asked quietly. She knew they shouldn't linger too long out in the halls. But she wanted to know how her friend had been. It was very important. Yayyy her best friend was back.

"Sorry about that, I couldn't use my owl, as my Mom and Dad thought that there was someone or someone's after the museum, there had been a few break- ins and Mom thought it was best that we use other people's owls and such for the time being." Seanna explained to Krissy.
"I've been good, was a bit scared though when Mom and Dad summoned me back home, they thought since the museum had been broken into, that I might get kidnapped and held for ransom, but everything is okay now" Seanna whispered slightly, she really didn't want to say much until she go back to the common room, where it was a bit more private.

Krissy nodded to Seanna. Difficult times call for difficult measures and in these times no-one really knew what was going on. Krissy herself knew the terror of being chased and fearing for your life so it was upsetting to see that it had to happen to her friend. "I'm glad your okay" Krissy said to Seanna with a soft smile. "Should we go find somewhere to sit and talk?" Krissy asked Seanna with a glance around the entrance hall. "If we find an empty classroom we should be right, no-one but me is usually out at these hours" Krissy who at the moment barely slept had taken to wandering around the school at night. She would be caught eventually but it didn't worry her one bit.

Seanna darted her brown eyes around the darkened entrance hall again and then back again to Krissy, "What about if we move out of the middle of the entrance hall and into a corner somewhere?" Seanna asked, the hall looked okay, but you never knew who was lurking around at nightime.
And it was at that moment when Seanna realized that her friend had cut her hair and it seemed to be redder since the last time she was here. "Wow!, I just noticed you cut your hair!" Seanna exclaimed, grinning at Krissy.

Krissy grinned at Seanna "Yea its only a recent thing, I havent had it blonde for ages now" Krissy knew Seanna had seen Krissy with blonde hair probably just before she left. But Krissy had allowed it to return to its flaming red colour and cut it sort recently. "Leave your trunk there" Krissy said to Seanna grabbing her friends hand and beginning to walk down the corridor.
"We'll go find someone more secluded so that no-one can hear us talk, I want to know whats going on" Krissy kept hold of Seanna's hand and began walking down the ground floor corridor, perhaps they could find some night place to hide and talk.

Seanna nodded, it was probably for the best that they went somewhere where no one could hear them, but Seanna was still unsure if anywhere was safe these days, people could sneak up on you at anytime and especially here at Hogwarts, where there was secret dungeons and everything.
"You let your hair go back to being red too, I noticed" Seanna said to Krissy, though it seemed obvious that Krissy had. Seanna's own hair was slightly longer and just a bit more curlier than it had been before she had left Hogwarts.

"Yeah, I decided I liked my red colour better" Krissy said with a smile. Typical girls, both their worlds were filled with doom and the only thing they can talk about when they meet is their own new hair styles. "Yours is longer" Krissy said with a small grin "Than it used to be that is" Yeah they were definately girls.
Krissy reached an empty classroom and pulled Seanna inside after her. "This one should do, its only got one door so we can see if anyone comes in easy enough" Krissy smiled at Seanna closing the door behind the two of them. Krissy then turned and pulled out her wand pointing it at each of the lamps on the walls and lighting them. It would have looked off to anyone around, completely dark castle and then just one random room with lights on. Yeah it was obvious, but it was better than sitting in the dark.

That was better, even though Seanna's eyes were used to the darkness, the darkness itself she hated more than anything. Seanna wasn't sure if it was that she couldn't see what was in the darkness or if it was because she wasn't sure what was in the darkness, whatever the reason, Seanna was glad she was in this classroom with the lights on.
"Yeah, my hair is a bit longer since I saw you last" Seanna's eyes wondered the empty classroom and saw some pictures hanging on the walls of a unknown witch or two she didn't recognize. "What about the pictures?" Seanna asked Krissy, she had come to hate pictures with people in it, anyone could be looking through them.

"The pictures are easily dealt with" Krissy said raising her wand up again "You will all leave or you will roast" Krissy said to them sending out a warning spark towards the paitings, the paintings enhabitants were gone from their frames in no time at all. None of them seemed particulary keen on roasting. "Just grab the frames off the walls and we'll sit them outside in the hallway" Krissy said to Seanna as she began to move the paintings off of the wall.
"Once we get them outside we should be right" Krissy like Seanna disliked the dark not because it was dark but because of what could be lurking within the shadows. Krissy had been attacked in the dark too many times to like it very much. Seems the two had more in common now than they did before. Which in one way wasn't a very good thing.

Now that she thought it about, that seemed like a good idea, to tell the people to leave the pictures, but you still never knew who could be behind the pictures, as Seanna went over and unhooked one of the frames of it's perch and then Seanna went towards the door, her brown eyes peeking through a crack of the door to make sure it was safe to put the picture frame outside the door.
It was safe and Seanna lent the picture frame just outside the door, holding the door slightly open for Krissy to deposit her picture frame outside the classroom. Once the classroom became relatively bare, Seanna could probably relax more and tell Krissy what has been happening.

Krissy followed Seanna and placed her picture frame outside of the door next to the one Seanna had stacked there. Yes it was begining to look more and more odd but when they wanted privacy they meant it. At least privacy from anyone or anything that could cause a problem to them. Which wasn't really anyone from the school that they knew of, but in these times you could never be too careful. Krissy had made her way in and grabbed another frame and slowly but steadily Krissy and Seanna removed all the pictures from the room and had placed them outside.
"There we go" Krissy said with a smile as she placed the last dusty painting on the floor outside. Krissy moved back into the classroom and shut the door behind her, dusting her hands off on her robes as she went. It was at this point that she moved to the centre of the classroom and took a seat in the middle of the floor. "Now no-one can hear us" Krissy said happily. Of course the girls were forgetting they were two of the noisiest people in the world.

"Good" Seanna nodded, though still unsure if they were completely alone, taking a seat on the floor opposite Krissy she tried to ignore the paranoia thoughts that were swirling around in her brain and tried to focus on Krissy.
"Hogwarts doesn't seem to have changed much" Seanna commented to Krissy offhandedly, she didn't want to relive as yet what happened over in Milan, it seemed easier to talk about school stuff.
