Even after the song finished, the music kept going and Drew transitioned smoothly into a more casual rhythm.
"Don't we?" he asked, thinking it felt so natural he couldn't imagine not dancing like this on a regular basis.

"Well....I think you do..." Arianna replied. She tried to slow down to Drew's speed, but wasn't quite successful. The Tango beat still kept her going and she had to be careful not to step on Drew's feet. His shins might not be so safe, though.... "Just....with someone else...."

Drew missed a step at her comment and nearly tripped over his own feet. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked, giving her a confused look and thinking they had already gone over this topic more than enough.

Arianna matched Drew's look as she tried to figure out if what she'd said could have been taken offensively. It certainly wasn't what she meant.
"You break into song and dance more often than I do," she offered in reply. "And I don't usually join in, so it's gotta be someone else or by yourself..."
Okay, so it sounded like a crappy reason, but Arianna was starting to wonder why they were even dancing now and her footsteps were slowing further. Maybe the potion was starting to wear out or something.

Drew's head was clearing, the music was fading, and he suddenly realized he had Ari's leg wrapped around his waist. He dropped his hold on her and took a hurried step back as he felt the flush creep up his cheeks. Yeah, it had been fun, but now, it felt like he had gone too far.
"You didn't say by myself. You said with someone else," he pointed out. Was it his fault she never joined in? Or was she bringing up the contract again?

Arianna, too, felt her face turn red as her eyes darted around to see if anyone noticed what they had been doing. Or if someone was about to slap her for dancing too close. It wasn't her fault. Really.
"But you said...we....Don't we dance like...this...often..." Arianna's face went even redder. Of course they danced every so often, but not how they were just moments before.

"You... you said we..." Drew answered, feeling a bit dazed and confused. He scratched his head nervously, hoping that might clear it a bit, but it didn't do much. He wasn't even sure if she had said it or he had imagined it. He was just realizing there was no music and he had been dancing pretty intimately and probably looked like an idiot.

Arianna didn't know what else to do but shrug. She didn't know why they had been dancing so early in the morning, nor why she had danced with Drew like...that. Even more baffling was the fact that he'd allowed it.
"Sorry..." the girl felt the need to appologize, even though she didn't know what for and was certain she had done nothing wrong.

Drew shrugged back, not sure whether he was supposed to accept the apology or say one back. His head felt a little fuzzy as if he were waking up from a deep sleep and he wasn't really sure what either of them had done. Maybe an apology wasn't even needed. All he was really sure of now was that he was out of breath and he had stretched a couple of muscles that really weren't used to being stretched.

Arianna smiled weakly. This was certainly odd. She'd come down for breakfast only to find herself, moments later, with a leg wrapped around Drew in what might be considered an inappropriate way and no clue why. Worse, she was still hungry. The poor girl hadn't gotten very far into her breakfast before the dancing craze kicked up. Now she wasn't so sure she could trust the food.

Beni had come back moments later to see people movin' and grovin' to the music that really came out of no where. She had tapped her toe a little, but she felt out of place. So as she went for the cluster of dancing maniacs, she gulped down someone's milk. "Sorry, mate, I'm just super thirsty!" And she was dancing with herself by the time she saw others wind down. "Nooo! Why! Keep on dancing!" She exclaimed excitedly. She missed the good part, it seemed.
