Finally the school year ended and summer vacation had finally begun. Even though Alexis was happy that she wouldn't have to worry about classes, homework or anything like that, she still had to spend the summer with her parents and little sister. But, she was trying to figure out some way to escape them even if for a little bit. Alexis and her family walked around Diagon Alley trying to find things they would need for their "family vacation".

Finally, after what seemed like a long time of walking and more walking, her father turned around to face Alexis and her sister and said, "Why don't you girls go on your own for a little? Just meet us in the Leaky Cauldron in an hour."

Alexis sighed, "Do I really have to take Flora vith me? Can she go vith you?"
Her parents just smiled, "You are going to have to watch her next year at Hogwarts and don't forget the deal we made."
Yes, vatever. She is just going to drive me crazy next year but I had to make that stupid deal so she would stop screaming. she shought to herself. "Come on Flora, lets go in here." she said pointing to Weasley Wizard Wheezes.

Flora smiled at the fact that she could finally wander away from her parents. As they walked away she said to Alexis, "Isn't zis great? Now you get to vatch even more!" Her eyes shining with innocence. Going into the store, she immediatly started running around to take a look at all the things they had. "Oh Lexi look at this! Vhat about zat! Can ve buy zis?" she asked excitedly. Flora normally gets excited when going into a store like this one, especially the thought of what she could do with everything here.

[Tristan Howard]

This was indeed the best store to Tristan. His grandmother used to give him money all the time and he would blow it on this store. He always thought that this shop was better than Zonko's and the joke shop. Going in this shop always makes him have more ethusasium. He wished that Jason was here to witness this great shop. He walked in and was going to buy something special. He ran to the counter and looked around what to buy. He had a bit of money so he could buy a lot.

There was like so many stuff that he was amazed, once again said. Atlas he found something. "The Deflagration Deluxe," he asked. He put 20 galleons on the table. He just used up all his money. He looked around and saw Alexis. He walked up with her with the items he bought in his hand. "Hey Alexis," he greeted her. He then looked at the younger girl. He wondered if he talked to her at the wrong time. Even though he knew or possibly knew that Jason had a crush on Alexis, but it wasn't a fact so he didn't know.

"Vat did I tell you about running around!" Alexis shouted after her sister. "He..Hey! Come back here Flora!" "Flora running around the place just screams bad news.'' she thought to herself. Seeing that Flora was not going to listen to her (as usual) she just walked over to a shelf containing Peruvian Darkness powder and a lot of other things. She picked up a bottle from the shelf when she heard her name. "Huh?...Tristan! Hi! Vat are you doing here?" She knew it was a pretty dumb question but, it kind of slipped out.

[Tristan Howard]

"Visting my favorite shop, of course," he said grinning. He looked at the little girl, "Your.. uhh.. neice? sister? cousin? .. babysitting?" he asked Alexis who was the little girl was. It look by her height that she was probably 10 or 11. Tristan though in the beginning of the year was 5'9 and now as he is fifthteen he is 5'11". Alexis still looked very short to him and Jason probably grew a few inches as well. He couldn't wait to fire off his fireworks he just bought. He waited for Alexis to respond.

"You mean this little girl over here?" Alexis said. She loved to call her sister little because it always drove her crazy. "Zis is my sister, Flora. She is going to be a first year when school starts again." she looked over at her sister who was looking at the spell-checking, self-inking and smart-answer. "It my mean trouble for me next year. She may look innocent, but she isn't. She's alright thought." she said.

Flora was looking at the different kinds of quills and was going to look at a day dreaming kit, she heard Alexis say her name and the word little which wasn't something you should say. "Hey! I'm not zat little! Don't ever call me little!" she cried stomping over to where Lexi was. Seeing a boy standing next to her she continued, "Who might this be? Your boyfriend Lexi?" she taunted

Alexis rolled her eyes then turned around to see her sister standing behind her. "Vill you stop acting like a three year old Flora! You're starting at Hogwarts next term and like zis you are going to get in trouble all ze time!" she told her. "And no, he is not my boyfriend just a friend.'' she added. Calming down slightly, Alexis told her, "Zis is Tristan. He goes to Hogwarts as vell and is in my year. Sorry about that," she said turning to Tristan. Looking back at her sister she thought that she might have to have a talk with her because the last thing Hogwarts needed was one of her tantrums.

[Tristan Howard]

"Don't worry. I'm just bothered by my younger sister because she loves Charms books," he said to her. Hearing about the 'boyfriend' part. He wondered if Jason really did like her. He put a grin up. He would like to see Jason and her go out. Bascially they know each other and possibly like each other. He was going to have to ask him.

"Really?" Alexis asked. Making sure that Flora was out of hearing range, she continued. "Vell, my sister loves pulling pranks on people. That's why we came in here. My parents don't like this place to much. I guess because of the influence it has on her. I don't mind that much though, the looks on my parents faces when she does something to their room is priceless." she laughed. "She has to get over her tantrums though." she added.

Jason was walking down Diagon Ally carrying a few things that his mum needed. Sometimes doing these things for his mum was a real pain, but since he was an only child and his mum had to work, he had no choice but to help out a little. Looking at his watch, he saw that he wasn't expected home again for sometime. So in order to kill time, he went into some interesting store called Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Since he recently just moved to London with his mum, some of the stores were still new to him.

The sight that meet his was truly amazing. By the look of it, it was a joke shop, but the most amazing one he had ever seen. Shelves upon shelves of colourfull objects of all shapes and sizes. He had just walked in when he saw Tristan standing there with his back to him. Going quietly to where he was, he managed to sneak up behind him. "Hey Tristan!" he said jumping behind him. Looking up he saw that Alexis was right infront of him. Immediatly, he felt himself go a little hot but he managed to say, "Hey Alexis...whats up?"

Alexis saw Jason come in and sneak up behind Tristan. When he did she started laughing. "Nice Jason. I'm just fine." she smiled. Alexis also noticed when Jason said hi, he acted a little strange. Reason why, she didn't know but oh well. It's not like it was something to worry about or anything. Seeing her sister still standing next to her she decided to introduce her to Jason. After all he would have to deal with her for a year. "Jason, this is my sister, Flora."

"Alright! Alright! I'll behave!" Flora replied. Sometimes her sister could be a pain but she was still fun to be around. However what Lexi said about her was true. Pulling pranks was something she liked to do and she could sometimes be a handful. Overeacting to somethings was also something she had a problem with but she guessed her sister was right about the tantrums. However, she wasn't about to admit it. She was about to say something else to her sister when another boy came up behind Tristan. Once Lexi introduced this boy to her she said, "Oh, you're Jason? Lexi talks about you from time to time in her letters. But anyway, pleased to meet you." Flora was surprised that she hadn't said anything sarcastic but she had a whole year a head to torment them.

All Tristan was thinking about in his crazy brain was the item he just bought. He couldn't wait to try it out. But just Jason just popped out of nowhere, Tristan wasn't alarmed or scared. "Still trying to do that, mate?" he said smiling at him. He saw then that Jason cooled off for a moment. He snickered to himself. Hopefully Jason wouldn't blush or anything.

But as Alexis introduced her little sister to Jason, he rolled his eyes smiling. But then he heard Alexis been writing about Jason in some of her letters. His eyes widen and nothing but he could was, "Woo... Really, now?" he asked Alexis. Maybe she did like-like Jason after all. He kept grinning to himself.

Alexis blushed slightly when her sister meantioned about the letters she wrote to her. Normally, Alexis was pretty good at hiding emotion or any kind of feeling but for some reason it kind of slipped this time. "It's nothing. I just would write to her about how life at Hogwarts was." Of course, she had also written to her not to tell anyone that she wrote about Jason in her letters. Knowing Flora, Alexis should have known that she would never keep her mouth shut. Looking at Jason she continued, "Don't worry, I never said anything bad about you." Now Alexis hoped that her face returned to its normal color.
