Smiling at the kitten too Jason walked over to one of the packages that had a brown bag sitting on top of it and pulled out a cat treat so that Ryan could give it to the little kitten. He had picked the treats up at the same time he had purchased the owl and the owl treats. He figured that the kittens should have treats if the owls were going to get them. Opening the package he removed a small treat and tossed it to Ryan, who of course wasn't paying him any mind and did catch it. Ryan was too busy watching the kittens reaction to the owls hooting, but as the treat bounced off his hand and his dad chuckled he noticed that there was a treat on the floor and set the kitten down so that he could get it. The kitten had no problem locating it and with in seconds devouring it.

Finally, his mom and dad were ready to go back down to meet Ryan and his dad. Setting the kitten down on the bed Brax petted it one last time and said with a smile, "You be good." The kitten just curled up on the bed and watched as Braxton and his family exited the room.
Coming down the stairs it didn't look like Ryan and his dad had made it back down yet. It was pretty early in the afternoon still, but with dinner later tonight Brax's mum wasn't sure how hungry everyone was for lunch at the moment. She would just take a vote of who wanted to go for a complete lunch or just a couple of appatizers and icecream. She could guess which one the kids would vote for.
Braxton took a seat at one of the tables and waited for Ryan to come down. He was still wearing his keeper gloves having opted to keep them on instead of leaving them in the room.

Ryan's dad had decided that it was long enough and that they should probably head back down stairs. He didn't want to make the Spicers wait for them for a long period of time and figured that it must have been 'a few minutes.' "We should probably head back down now." he told Ryan as he moved over to the owls cage to put a cloth over it. More for the owls sanity then anything else. He figured that the kitten and the owl would get along just fine as long as the owl didn't stress to much about the kitten attempting to get at it. This was the reason that he had decided to cover the owl. To prevent it from stressing too much and to try and trick the cat into not thinking that it was there or at least try and make it so the cat didn't bug it too much.
After the owl was covered and Ryan had placed the kitten on one of the beds they both made their way out of the room and down the stairs. "We ready?" Jason asked with a smile as he followed his son into the pub area.

"Yep," Braxton said with a grin jumping up from where he was sitting.
"Hold on there littleguy," Braxton's dad said with a small laugh. "We need to decide where we are going to go."
"Yes that's what I was thinking also." Brax's mom said with a smile, " And I was wondering exactly how hungry everyone was. Dinner won't be until a little later tonight depending on when we leave here, so I was wondering if everyone was hungry enough to want to get a full lunch, or if we just wanted to get a couple of appetizers and maybe and ice cream afterwards. It's up to you guys which you would like to do most."

Ryan was with Brax, all the way, on the leaving right then and there so when Brax's dad told Brax to hang on for a minute Ryan had to stop himself to and listen to what they were saying. Ryan wasn't really starving but he could do either. He never turned down a meal and at this point in time he was just at the stage of anything sounded fine with him. Ryan's dad was too at this stage. Not really used to eating lunch all the time, well at least at a reasonable time, he was in the same spot that Ryan was. He could eat a lunch or just go for a snack. "I could do either." Jason said to Brax's mom with a smile, "It's really up to what you guys and the kids want to do."
"Do we get ice cream either way?" Ryan inquired thinking that if the answer was no his decision would be a lot easier to make. After all who would turn down ice cream when offered up. Jason just looked at Ryan in amazement. You would think that Ryan never got ice cream, which wasn't the case at all.

“Good question Ry,” Brax said with a smile, “So do we get ice cream either way?”
Brax’s dad just rolled his eyes at the pair of them. Typical kid reaction, it didn’t matter whether or not they wanted real food, no it was all about the dessert. “What if I said yes, then what would you say?”
“Umm...I don’t know,” Brax said with a shrug. “I don’t mind either way. I could do either really.” He didn’t mind one way or the other. Both options would be good to him, as long as there was ice cream involved.
“Well if none of you are going to choose then I guess I’ll have to,” Brax’s mom said with a smile and a laugh. “I guess we can just go for a snack and then an ice cream, after all I don’t want you all not hungry for my dinner later.”

Ryan was over joyed to hear that either way they would be getting ice cream. Really that was the only thing he cared about at the moment and he wasn't at all disappointed when Brax's mom chose to just go for snacks and then have dinner later.
"Sounds like a plan." Jason said with a laugh at the kids, "Where should we go to get a snack?"
"As long as they have ice cream that is a good place for me." Ryan said when his dad asked where they should go.
"Of course." Ryan's dad said rolling his eyes a bit and laughing again. It was very obvious that they would have to get ice cream before they left the Alley or the kids would never leave them alone.

"Well I was thinking we could go to one of the restaurants outside of Diagon Alley in London. That way we could go somewhere where the boys haven't been before." Braxton's mom said with a smile thinking that they would enjoy it more if it was a novelty to go and eat there. She knew that both her kids would enjoy it very much and was just throwing out the idea to the others.
"Ya lets do that," Brax said his grin getting wider. He always liked to try new things and they hardly ever got to go out to eat so he was really looking forward to it.

Jason thought that this was an excellent idea. After all there were tons of muggle restaurants that they could go to outside of Diagon Alley. Not to mention that they would have the normal drinks that he was used to and he would be more in his territory than not. He had been to many of the restaurants in London and new of a few good ones, but didn't know if they wanted to go to a sit down place or to just a fast food joint. His suggestion would be that they compromise between the two and go to a pub where they could sit and eat but it wasn't like an actual nice restaurant. He didn't really think the kids would enjoy themselves at some of the restaurants. "Great idea. I think we should try one of the many pubs in town. I know quite a few that are good and they have excellent appetizers." Jason said with a smile, thinking that this way too he could have an actual beer instead of some brand he had no clue about.
"That sounds fun." Ryan said. He had too been to a couple of the pubs in town, but not ever with a family completely comprised of wizards and he wondered how that would go.

"Great," Brax said positively beaming. He hadn't ever really been to a muggle eatery before, and knew that if Jason was suggesting it that's what it must be. He didn't think that Jason would know very many wizarding spots, but I guess you never knew.
Seeing the look on Brax's face sealed the deal for his parents. They would be more then happy to go to where ever, as long as everyone agreed on it. Which it seemed they had. They on the other hand unlike Brax didn't make the connection that it would in all likelihood be a muggle restaurant so they didn't really bother to get muggle money from the bank. "Alright it's a plan then," his dad said with a smile over in his son's direction. "I guess we'll just follow you then Jason since you know where it would be at."

Ryan just smiled at BRax's response. He knew that Brax would like the idea of going to a muggle restuarant. He was pretty sure that Brax had figured out that that is where they were going to eat, but he wasn't so sure about Brax's parents. Oh well. He figured that they would figure it out sooner or later. No matter. It would all work out in the end and they would have a great lunch.
"Alright." Jason said heading to the door of the Leaky Cauldron and pushing it open. He held it open so that the others could walk though it and then went back up to the front of the group so that he could show them where to go. He figured that he would just choose a pub close by. That way they wouldn't have to worry about transportation and things and could just walk there.
After a few minutes of walking they reach a nice pub set into a row of building less than ten blcoks away from the Leaky Cauldron. Stopping outside of it he said, "He we go. I think this pub will be a good place to eat at."

Braxton and his family followed Jason out of the Leaky Cauldron and to there destination. Looking around Brax could tell that it was a muggle establishment. For one there weren't the tell tell signs of magic hanging around and for two it said that they excepted different forms of muggle money, which looked like little plastic cards. "This looks great to me," Brax's mom said with a smile before she opened the door and entered. They quickly found a table that would sit all of them.
"So have you been here before Ry?" Brax asked looking around enthusiastically.

Ryan followed Brax into the pub and took a seat next to him. He had eaten at this pub before, but it had been quite some time ago when he had accompanied his mom to work and they came to eat at the pub for lunch. From what he could remember about it they had good food and the atmosphere wasn't to bad, it was just your normal pub atmosphere. "Ya I have been here once or twice but it was a pretty long time ago." Ryan answered honesty, "From what I can remember though the food was really good."
Jason was the last one to enter the pub and to find a seat at the table. He sat by Ryan and at the end that the adults were gathered at. "So does everyone know what they want to drink or what kind of drink they would like?" he asked wondering if they would be familiar with muggle beverages or if he should give them a basic run down of what types there were.

"I don't know," Braxton said with a smile looking over the menu. He hadn't ever really heard of any of the drinks on there and wondered what exactly they were. "I am not sure what they all are," he added with a slightly confused look on his face. At this point if he decided on one it would just be a random guess. His parents were kind of in the same boat as him. There wasn't any of the normal wizarding drinks on the menu.

It was just as Jason had thought and, subquently, he knew how they were feeling, having just felt the same way the night before when they were eating at the wizarding pub. "It's alright," Jason said with a smile to Braxton as the confused look came over his face, "I didn't really think that you would and that is why I ask....Ryan can tell you all about the differences in the sodas and the kids drinks." he continued knowing that Ryan had tryed almost every drink on the menu, well except for the alcoholic drinks of course but Brax wouldn't be ordering one of those anyways. "While I will tell your parents what the others are like." he continued wanting to make sure that everyone got something that they would enjoy.
"I'm getting a Coke." Ryan said with a smile to Brax, "It is a soft drink that I like, but it is a little hard to explain. Mountain Dew is also one of my favorites. It has a more citirus taste to it than Coke but it is still really good." Ryan continued trying his best to explain how the different sodas tasted and what ones he prefered over the others. Working his way down the list of drinks he briefly described, to the best of his abilities, the different drinks.
