Brisbane, huh? He wasn't exactly sure where that was, but he made a mental note to have his dad show him one time when he went over to Australia to visit him. Maybe they could turn it into a small trip or something. Returning his attention back to what was being said around him he caught Hannah's next question about Hogwarts. "Ya I'm going." Ryan said with a smile, "It will be a bit different from what I'm normally used to...but it should be fun."

Hannah grinned at Ryan, now she knew three more people that were going to Hogwarts. "Same!. Oh, I can't wait to go to Hogwarts!" Hannah exclaimed, having heard about Hogwarts from her parents. "I all ready know a few simple spells my dad taught me" Hannah stated, her Dad had taught her Lumos when she was attending school in Australia.

Was Ryan the only one that had just learned about Hogwarts a few weeks ago when he had got his letter? There had to be some other kids in his same situation, right? Surely, but he had yet to meet anyone who was totally unfamiliar with the place. Everyone that he had met so far knew at least something about it from their parents or someone else in their family. "Me neither." Ryan said with a smile, "I think it will be a blast, especially if I get to hangout with my friends that I have met these past few days."
"You know spells too?" He asked crest fallen. Braxton had been familiar with a couple of spells to and knew what a lot of them did. It seemed that she did to. Boy was he going to be behind when he got to the school. He hoped that the teachers didn't expect them to know anything coming into it, because if they did he was in big trouble. "I don't know any." he admitted quietly, "I didn't even know that they could be done until a couple of days ago."

Hannah nodded, "Yeah, but only one and only 'cause I was in one of my Dad's classes, I was only eight and I wandered into one his classes accidentally, so he decided I could stay and learn it" The rest of time, Hannah got taught the theory side of spells and Charms, since she wasn't allowed to use magic at home, no matter how much she liked to threaten her sister's with it.
"So you don't know any magic?" Hannah asked, she was slightly surprised that Ryan didn't know any magic, but then, she was always surprised when other people didn't know any magic, having grown up around it. "I could show you how to do Lumos if you want" Hannah offered, "Or, I could get my Dad to show you" That sounded a lot better to Hannah, her Dad could probably show Ryan how do the spell a lot better than what she could.

"So your dad is a teacher then, huh?" he semi asked semi stated. It followed logically that he would have to be a teacher if he was instructing a class on how to do a spell.
"Nope." he said with a small smile. He had gotten used to fessing up to the fact that he had no prior knowledge about the wizarding world or the things in it. After all, it seemed to come up with every wizarding person he met. "I just learned about wizards a couple of weeks ago and my entire family isn't magical, just me." he continued trying to explain why he didn't know that much about the wizarding world and why he wouldn't have any knowledge about any spells. "That would be way cool." Ryan exclaimed thinking that it would be awsome to know how to do at least one spell before he got to hogwarts. Sure Brax's dad had showed him a couple of spells but none of which he could do at his current level.

"So you're the only one out of your family that's a wizard?, most of my family are wizard's or witches', one way or the other, though my older twin sister's don't seem to really care if they're magical or not, they just like to annoy me I think" Hannah told Ryan, grimacing at the thought of her older twin sisters and Hannah hoped that her parent's would drag them along to the orientation day at Hogwart's, so they could see what they were missing out on.
"Yeah, my dad's a Professor at the Australia school I was telling you about, he teaches Divination, but sometimes he has to teach Charm's as well, when my step mom can't teach the class, but if I ask my Dad, he'll probably be happy to teach you a couple of spell's...though you might get a long winded story about how important Divination is too, but my Dad's always prattling on about Divination, so just ignore that" Hannah said, smiling at Ryan, she was sure that her Dad would show Ryan how to do the spell, they'd just have to go back to the Leaky Cauldron after Hannah bought her owl.

Ryan didn't even know what Divination was so he really couldn't be to alarmed at the prospect of hearing more about it. Besides he would listen to anything as long as in the end it included teaching him a couple of spells. Ever since he had heard he was a wizard he had been wanting to learn some of them. "That would be great," Ryan said with a smile hoping that her dad would consent to teaching him a couple of things. Then remembering that he did know one spell, well he kind of knew it, he added with a grin. "Braxton's dad already showed me how to repair things when we were here ealier, but it would be fun to learn more."

Hannah nodded, "It's always fun to learn new spells, maybe we can even get him to show us something else rather than just Lumos" It was a possibility and Hannah was sure that her Dad would be willing to teach them a few more spells. "But first I have to buy my Owl and my puffskein, I haven't even looked at the puffskien's yet" Hannah finished off, turning back to the black owl in front of her, "I really do want this black owl, he's so cute"

"Ooo I want to learn Lumos too." Ryan said wondering why she thought that the spell Lumos wasn't that important of a spell to learn. He didn't even know what it did, so to him it would be worth learning what it was all about and how to do it. "Maybe he could teach us a couple of spells." Ryan continued hopefully.
"Puffskiens?" He repeated after her. He couldn't remember if he had seen a puffskien while he was here with Braxton. He certainly couldn't place the creature to it's name. "I want to look at the puffskiens to. I don't think that I got to see them when I was here earlier. I'm not even sure if I know what a Puffskien is." Ryan said thinking that he might want a puffskien as well as what animals he already had. He knew though that his dad wouldn't let him for sure so for now he would just have to be happy looking at them and trying to talk one of his parents into getting one later. "You should get the black one." he continued smiling.

Hannah frowned, how was she going to explain what puffskein's were?, it would be better if she could show Ryan what a puffskein was. Hannah scanned the pet shop and her eyes fell on pen full of puffskeins, "Puffskein's are...over there" Hannah said to Ryan, pointing to the pen full of puffskein's that were next to a pen full of cat's.
"Come on, let's have a look at them" Hannah said, taking the black owl down and carrying it's cage over to where the puffskein's were.

Ryan had been looking at all the different types of owls thinking that he was still happy with the choice he had made on picking out his owl when hannah pointed to the puffskein pen. Glancing over in the direction of the pen he just smiled. He hadn't seen those little guys the last time that he was here. He didn't know how he had missed them and figured that he was just to engrossed in getting an owl with Braxton to have noticed the strange little creatures. "Okay." Ryan said heading over in the puffskiens direction. He immediately noticed that these little creatures came in a variety of colors and that they were pretty small in relation to other things. In his opinion they were pretty cool. He would have to get one one of these days and he knew the exact color that he would be getting. He would get a blue colored one. "They are pretty cool." he said bending down and picking one up to get a better look at it.

Hannah placed her owl on the floor beside her and gazed down into the pen full of puffskein's, there were you normal custard colored puffskeins and then there was the different colored puffskeins as well. Hannah ran her finger's over a blue puffskein, that was one of her favorite colors and then she saw a pink one as well, pink was one of her other favorite colors, though Hannah liked the blue puffskein over the pink one. "Aren't they cute?, they're like little furry furballs" Hannah cooed, patting the blue puffskein.

"Yeah, they are pretty cute." Ryan had to admit. He was definitely going to have to get him one of these little guys at some point, just probably not this trip to the alley. After all he had already gotten an owl and a kitten and was pretty sure that his mom would kill him if he were to bring home three new pets. He wasn't even sure that she would be okay with the animals he currently had in the car. "So which color do you think you will get?" he asked still stroking the puffskein in his hand.

Hannah picked up the blue puffskein, holding it gently in her hands. "I think I like this blue one" Hannah informed Ryan, looking back down at the pink puffskein and feeling like she made the right choice. "I like the pink puffskein as well, but the blue one's cuter than the pink one"

"I agree." Ryan said with a smile down at the blue one that he was holding, "If it was me I would get the blue one to, just because it is my favorite color. But, I think that my dad would flip if I came back to the car with another pet." It wasn't really a thought, it was more like a prediction. He knew that he dad would get mad if he arrived with his third pet of the week and he didn't even want to think about his mothers reaction when he arrived home with three pets.
