Alfonz was not in the mood for such trivialness. His patience with the children, too, was beginning to thin. If it wasn't one thing, it was another when it had to do with them and this time it looked as if he had walked into something he may regret later. At the moment, however, he was taking slight interest. If only for the fact that the woman who spoke with him had venom in her words. She didn't seem to pleased, and maybe Alfonz would find some amusment after all. The only thing he wished was that Celina wasn't sitting at the table...but then again, he'd just tell her that he had to keep his cover.
"Oh, really? Both of you then?" Alfonz's lips curled into a smirk that no one could see. If they could though, anyone who didn't know him would have been worried for their life. "Would you do the honnors in leading the demonstration, Madame Deva?" Alfonz asked in a bit of a mocking tone. Not mocking of his fellow Deva, but rather at the children's expense.

Fyona was not very far away from the two other kids at all, and she heard most of it from where she sat sitting at the table, lazily drawing circles with her finger. One voice she recognized as Shari's, thank goodness, and the other was one that was not so familiar. She caught names and such, but had ignored a lot of the earlier part of the conversation. It was the latter part that included the Deva members who had nosily wandered over to her side of the room that caused her to pay more attention. She was still quite afraid of them, but not nearly as much as she had been when they first entered the Great Hall in all their menacing splendor.
At the moment though, again her fear of them was overruled by another startling event. Shari and...Scorpius was it? Shari and Scorpius were trying to join them! Join the Deva! Fyona almost could not believe her ears, and therefore her brain told her not to believe it. "Are you two serious? You really want to join them ? After what they did...?" Fyona didn't know if she should be more surprised or angry, but at the moment it was a combination of both. "Would you do the honors in leading the demonstration, Madame Deva?" Fyona heard him say. She scoffed and then looked right at him with her eyes slit and her wobbly chin up. It was time she started acting like she really wanted to get out of here.

Who is this girl Scorpius asked himself. She seems to think that we are being serious. I was there was a way I could explain to her what was really going on. If it was possible I would ask her to help me get my wand out of the womens pocket. He stood there while looking at this new girl and noticed that she had on Slytherin robes.
She seems like a nice girl. Why is she in Slytherin? I thought bad people were put in Slytherin. He shrugged at this thought. Now is not the time to worry about that. He turned his head so that way neither Deva members could see him move his lips.
"I am not being serious," he mouthed to this new person. "I am trying to protect Sharivah." He had hoped that she saw his lips move and could read lips, and understand what he was trying to tell her.
Then out loud he said "Even though you haven't demonstrated anything to us yet, why not have us practice with her." He said to the faceless woman while nodding in the new girls direction. "All I require is the use of my wand, which you had taken away from me." He had said giving a devious smile. He knew it was a long shot but he thought that suggesting this might actually get his wand back, and if that worked he could disarm the Deva member and him and the two girls could run the other way and possibly try to hide someplace. He felt bad because he felt like he was dragging this new person into the middle of it all and he didn't want that, but, unfortunately, it was a risk he was willing to take.

Wait...was that Fyona, Sharivah heard? She peeped around the side of the table and saw, indeed, Fyona! Shari felt hope creep back into the void that had been left by the appearance of the second, the Deva man. She wanted to say something: she wanted to move and distract Fyona. She didn't really know the girl all that well but in this moment it didn't matter too much. Anyone other than a Deva was a welcomed guest at this table.
Shari shifted slightly. She kept her gaze on the spot where Fyona stood. Somehow if she could get Fyona's attention she could begin to find a way out of this mess. In her excitement at that snatch of hope, she raised her hand errantly and opened her eyes wide, hoping it would get Fyona's attention.
That was imperative: Fyona's attention, her potential for diversion...
