Despite the abundance of shops between Diagon and Knockturn Alleys, it was not quite possible to get everything one needed--especially not nowadays, with businesses even shutting down due to lack of shoppers. It was silly, really: no one who should be shopping in Diagon Alley had any reason to fear the Deva. Nonetheless, a thorough shopping now involved going elsewhere. In this case, for Megara, it meant going to Hogsmeade to pick up a few put-off odds and ends from Dervish and Banges.
Of course, as long as she'd taken the time to Apparate out to Hogsmeade--she hadn't really had reason to do so since Hogwarts had been quarantined and there was no one in town for her to go see--she was going to take a look around, at least.
The first thing she noticed was a new cafe, which was perfect since she'd skipped lunch and was keen for an early supper. She didn't know quite what to expect, going into the Cross-Eyed Dragon, but when she did get a look inside, it seemed to skew toward a decidedly younger clientele. That worked for her. She glanced around; it was early for supper, so the place wasn't too full yet. She pondered what to order.

Franco did not noticed at first the new client coming in as was a little busy trying to explain to his house elf what she must do. She still did not understand english that well for what it was not much of a use to attend the clients.
"Sanguche! es 'sandwich', es lo mismo, entendiste? solo quiere un sandwich..." he was just trying to explain when suddenly his eyes spotted the girl "Anda, prepara uno" he instructed Fatima and hurried toward Megara.
"Welcome to the Cross-eyed Dragon!" he said trying a friendly smile "would you like the standard seating or the coffee sacks ones on that side" he asked polite pointing at the special table for the less conservatives clients.
(OOC:They are the same, see? Go make one!)

Megara studied the young man in her vaguely analytical way. There was something about him; she couldn't put her finger on it, but she was sure she knew him.
Rather than requesting a place to sit--she would've chosen the sack chairs, if she had--she said quite matter-of-factly. "You look very familiar to me. Do we know each other? I'm Megara, if that helps ring any bells." She offered a handshake.

"Uhmmm... no, I don't think so" he said blinking at the strange situation and instinctively raising his hand to shake hers "I am Franko, nice to meet you" he said shoving off the little curiosity she had woken up on him. He hesitated for a second as he had the feeling that probably she could have read about him on a newspaper but that idea went off his head as soon as it had came. That was impossible, the news had not reached that part of the world or everybody in Hogsmeade would have already known all about him since the fist time he set a foot on the village.
"Follow me please" he said as walked before her, guiding the client to one of the coffee sack sets and its respective table. "Is it this place good for you? or you prefer the ones closer to the windows?" the man asked always with a friendly smile and willing to serve her the best he could.

Meg wasn't convinced. It wasn't a recent thing; they'd known each other in the past, she felt. "Um, yeah, this place is just fine. Are you sure we don't know each other?" she asked again.
The only real place she could come up with that they would've known each other was school, and though this young man wasn't of U.K. origin, he was living in Hogsmeade so that was still a possibility. "Hogwarts, maybe? Did you go there? You look about the same age as me, matter of fact."

"I am sorry, no. I have never attended any school." he just said smiling kindly at her. Though he had lost around 3 years of his memory, he was dead sure he had never attended any school. He always had been home schooled, since little, even to learn to read and math he had had a good set of tutors for everything a kid needed to learn and knowing how his uncle had been keeping him closer and watched ever since his parents died there was no reason in his head to think that he would have been sent to a school those three lost years and so far away from home.
Franco placed the menu on the table for her to order, always trying to be as polite and nice as possible.
"When you are ready to order, just call me. My name is Franco... again" he said chuckling as remembered he had just introduced himself some minutes ago.

Perhaps she was the one with the memory problem. Well, it didn't really matter. She'd hardly kept up with anyone from the school aside from her cousin Hiro, and had dropped out before she even took her OWLs so there hadn't been much to tie her there anyway. "My mistake, then. Thanks, Franco."
She glanced through the menu, deciding to stick on the lighter side. Of course, she'd probably just end up 'rewarding' herself for her healthy decision by getting an ice cream dessert, but she didn't feel too guilty about that. It only took her a few minutes to decide. "Uh, Franco? I think I've decided," she said politely.

Franco has barely gave a couple of steps away when suddenly the girl called him back. He almost tripped as forced a stop, but managed to hold avoid to fall. Then slowly turned toward the girl a little bit surprised that she had decided what to order in so a short time. Most people took a little while to decide and even made him come and go several times, changing their minds or still thinking...
"You did?... ermm... I mean OK!" he just said pulling himself together and walking back toward her table, just in front of her ready to take her order. "What do you wish to order, miss" he said smiling again as he used to do.

"I'm really quite quick with my decisions," Meg admitted. "Like, very impulsive. At least with ordering sandwiches, that won't come back to haunt me, right? Anyway..." She ordered her sandwich, a bit different from what she normally ate but then again, the whole establishment was a bit different.
She was in the mood to talk to somenone, which was too bad really since she didn't have anyone there to talk to and Franco undoubtedly actually wanted to be doing his job. Still, a few moments of conversation wouldn't hurt anything right? "So, how long has this place been here? I haven't spent much time in Hogsmeade lately."

Franco took the order and gave it a read before sent it magically to the kitchen then looked around to see where else he was needed, but he hardly had make a single move of his head when heard the girl talking to him again. He looked rather surprised as clients did not used to start a conversation with him, not further than the one they already had at least...
"Uhmm... three weeks, five days, three hours, 30 minutes aaand...." he checked his watch "ten seconds, eleven seconds... and so and so..." he said trying to be as friendly as possible and smiled at her, but could not help give a quick look around just in case there were some table to attend, then back at her. "Not even a month yet" he added.

"Well, I haven't missed much then," Meg said with a small smile. "Hey, I'll let you get back to work; you seem like you've got loads to do." With that, her friendly, conversational streak was pretty much coming to a close. "Thanks."
She picked up a magazine to look through while she waited on her sandwich; she never read Witch Weekly but was sure she could find something to make fun of inside.

"Your order will be ready soon" He said with a smiled and tried just to not feel that happy to leave her, but indeed he was relief he did not have to interrupt her nor endure a conversation with her when he had so many things to attend around. It wasn't that her company was annoying but at that precise moment was just not too welcome. The man just moved to the next table to attend other clients and as gently as he could, he leaded them to an empty table.
The house elf read the order which Franco kindly wrote in spanish so she could understand, and as soon as she got all ready, she hovered toward the woman's table, landing it gently on the table.

Megara realized she wasn't really paying attention to the magazine when she became aware she'd read the same paragraph three times. It didn't matter anyway; she wasn't interested in the dangers of anti-aging potions anyway. She was interested in this Franco character. She was sure she knew him from somewhere. Beyond that, she'd heard that name Franco recently too. It was pretty unlikely it was the same Franco, but she couldn't be sure. When the house elf appeared with her food, she put down the ignorable magazine. "Thank you. Uh, I mean gracias." She'd heard Franco's Spanish earlier and while she didn't really know any herself, it was still an interesting fact about this young man she tucked in the back corner of her brain.

Franco attended the few tables recently occupied trying his best to please the costumers. He hadn't had yet as much clients as he should have wished, which worried him a little, but he knew he had to be patient, after all the place had been opened for business less than a month.
Finding a little time to breath, he went to the bar, mentally calculating how busines had gone so far, wondering if perhaps he should advertise on the newspapers or something of that sort. This little business had costed most of his safes so far so he needed to make it work.
After a couple of minutes, which felt like half an hour, he woke up from his thoughts and walked around to make sure everything was in order.
"Is it everything OK? Do you want anything else?" he asked politely as passed Megara's table for the second time in case the woman had a new request.

Megara shook her head. "Everything's fine, Franco," she said with a small smile. "Hey, and I know you're busy but I think I've figured out where I know you from, maybe," she added before he left. She'd been thinking about it over her meal, and while this was a bit of a stretch it was a possibility, too. "My family used to travel a lot, mostly in Europe but all over the world, really. Where are you from? Maybe we met in a past life."
