Tianne knew that she had to go under, she was just stalling so that maybe the boy decided that he couldn't be bothered, so Tianne wouldn't actually have the pressure to do so. This was stupid however, as the two were hopefully going to go and get some food before they had to go back to their separate houses. Looking around the grounds, as if to make sure there was no one watching, Tianne gave the boy a smile, to answer back to all of his comments. Taking another few steps into the icy water, Tianne gave a slight giggle, before falling backwards. It seemed like forever until she hit the water, but when she had finally done so, she felt proud.
Resurfacing, her hair completely covering her face, Tianne giggled, and turned to face the boy. "I'm the creature from the deep." She grinned, before ducking back under and washing the hair away. The water stung at her neck, but she wasn't going to admit defeat. She had to pretend that it wasn't hurting her in the least, though she could feel her muscles freezing up.
"You ready to go?" Tianne smiled at the boy, knowing that he had been ready for a lot longer than herself. She felt guilty, but she was excited now, the water seemed to have stirred things up a little bit. The clothes that she did have, lying in pile near to the shore of the lake, were probably damp from the dew that had masked the grounds, not that they would have been warm anyways. But with the power of magic, who needed warm clothes, anyways?

Guy filtered his hands through the water, knowing that if it had been just a few degrees warmer that he wouldn't mind so much just sitting around swimming and talking. But as it was still pretty cold, he took the time to fantasize about the warmth of the kitchens. And food! How could he forget food? Right now a nice cheeseburger sounded good to him... The seventeen year old practically foamed at the mouth at just the thought of it. And fries, those sounded swell about now, too. He almost forgot that he had actually eaten dinner only three hours or so earlier.
Guy was so involved in his thinking about food that he almost missed Tianne making her way into the water. He grinned as she resurfaced, her hair covering up her face. He waited until she resurfaced once again, this time without the creature of the deep get up. " Very nice. " He mentioned with a node, and before the girl even asked, Guy was making his way towards the shore.
He shivered as he shuffled through the water, walking rather than actually swimming as it wasn't all that deep where he had been standing. " So... I'm kinda of frozen, yeah? " He mentioned with a short shivery laugh. Finally though, he made it to the shore and made his way up onto the grass, retrieving first his towel and wrapping it around his shoulders, letting it cover his torso. " Need a towel? I've an extra... " He commented to Tianne, as he hadn't noticed whether or not the girl had actually brought a towel with her.

Standing there in what she was wearing, freezing wasn't really the word that she would use. It wasn't descriptive, or even powerful, enough to describe the pain that she was in. she found the whole thing exciting though; as much as she never thought that she'd say this, this was a good type of pain. The water stung, yes, but this was the more adrenaline producing thing that she had ever done. She didn't really want to continue swimming, Tianne would rather retain the use of her limbs.
She wasn't hungry either, but the thought of going back to the common room, spending it alone with only the company of the studying seventh years, well, that didn't really pose much excitement. On the other hand, sneaking into the castle, to the kitchens and then going back; Tianne wasn't really that keen on getting into trouble. Following the boy out of the water, diving under once during the journey, Tianne offered the boy a worried look.
"Will we get into too much trouble for this?" She said, gesturing up to the dark sky. Throwing away the look that had saddened her face for a happier, more mischievous smile, Tianne gave a short laugh for the boy's comment. "Biggest understatement of the year." She replied. "And I'm a loser. Thankyou." She said, noting on the fact that she would probably need one.
