"Well, cut it out... you're kind of ruining my snack," Drew told him, turning back to his cake. If Cris didn't even know what he had been talking about, Drew sure as heck wasn't going to try and find out.

"Fine by me", said Cris. "Yeah though, this kitchen has some potential for a fifties make over. Medieval kitche, nice start", said Cris.
Lately he'd been pretty interested in the 50's. It all seemed so idealistic, one reason he was getting into it. He knew it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

"What's with you and the fifties?" Drew asked, smirking a little. "Next thing you know, you'll be sporting a crew cut... no, better... a ducktail."

"It was just cool. I don't know. Any time that can be known for wholesomness and teen rebellion has gotta be given some kind of chance. Definatly a crew cut, ducktails take too much time and too much grease", said Cris as he pulled his hair back. "I could definatly see myself with a Potsy kind of look".

"Wasn't he the dim one of the group?" Drew asked, smirking at the other boy.

"Yeah, but he knew how to play some of that fifties music. Besides, Fonzi's don't make up the world. It's the every day Potsy's that do. It'd be cool to have one of those old time diners around here too", said Cris.

"So musical talent is better than brains?" Drew asked. "I don't think they have a house here for that."

"I don't know about that. Half the time in hufflepuff we're blaring music. Besides, I don't think he was stupid, just didn't get wit. We can't all be like you Drew", said Cris with a small grin.
Out of all the people he knew, Drew definatly was best with witty humor. He didn't get how Drew thought of half the stuff he did as quickly as he did.

"Well..." Drew answered, shrugging as he took another bite of cake. He wasn't sure whether the Huffle was complimenting him or pulling his leg.

"Well.....?", asked Cris. "As cool as it'd be, I aint no psycic", he said with a small smile as he took a sip of the cappecino.
He really never knew how far he could take it with Drew. He had a weird kind of understanding with him.

"So how's this head of house you've got now?" Drew asked, feeling comfortable in the fact that no one could compare to Raynor.

"Heaven only knows. It seems like they're tossing a new one at us every other month. I haven't even seen him around the common room yet. Probably'll be just like all the others though", said Cris taking another sip. "Y'all are soooo lucky to have Raynor. She's great".

"Great at busting us," Drew grumbled, though he really was proud of his Head of House. He'd never admit it to anyone, but he secretly thought she was the best teacher in the school.

Quietly the entrance to the kitchens swung open to reveal Jorja Zupan. The 6th year Gryffindor was a petite girl standing at only 5 feet 3 inches with long fiery red hair and had brilliant blue-green eyes, just like her mothers.. Quietly Jorja stepped into the kitchens and glanced around.
Although Jorja was well aware she wasn't supposed to be here and she wasn't too keen on getting in trouble her first week at Hogwarts, she had come anyways because she had needed what she deemed a necessity in life, COFFEE.

Drew looked over his shoulder, an excuse as to why he was down there already forming (though he knew Raynor accepted none), when he saw a new girl wander in.
"Kitchen's closed... no girls allowed," Drew announced as he turned back to his cake.
