Lainee's hair had fallen from it's bun and it seemed as though her brow was once peppered with sweat. Lainee forgot how energetic her children were and how... everything. She enjoyed them all, but she sure could use a nap. Lainee glanced at the door that was halfway open and closed and decided to use wandless magic to open it fully. She couldn't be on her feet anymore than she needed to after that lesson.

Oh Merlin help the third year class if David got ahold of some pepper-up potion before making it explode. He was the last person on earth that needed pepper-up, and he'd be the first to say that.
Walking. No. Scratch walking. Bouncing into the Potions classroom, David’s pale blue eyes searched the room relentlessly hoping for another living morsel apart from the professor. Of course with his luck, he wasn’t going to find another person, so the third year hopped to a seat towards the professor’s desk. Giving an overly-energetic wave, the naïve third year chirped with more energy then a toddler exercising his or her voice, “Hi Ms. Jammb... No…Ms. Jambrea… no… ermm… Ms! How are you today?” Surely, the deep countenances across her face clearly stated that she was tired, but heck, he was as curious as they came.
Quickly turning away, the boy began making strange faces to keep himself occupied.

The last Potions lesion Matty had gone to, had been rather dull. Although slowly walking into the classroom after a positively jolting other did, she was freaked. Who would be this exited about Potions? she thought emerging out of the doorway. Smiling and giving the Professor a small wave, she then took a seat in the row behind David. Taking out her wand, just for reassurance, Matty then looked to the boy from his side. The crazy being was simply making faces at himself. Holding in a snigger, she then tapped him on the shoulder. "Er... Are you alright?"
Maybe this class wasn't going to be so slow... Infact Maybe it was going to be, bonkers?

Jynx made his way down to the potions classroom at a moderate pace. He didn't really mind potions all that much and was wondering what they were going to learn about today. Walking into the potions class he noticed that Matty was already there and talking to a Gryffindor that he hadn't met yet. Walking over to one of the tables he threw his bag down and then made his way over to where Matty and the Gryffindor were. "Hi Matty what are you two up to." he asked with a smile.

Lainee glanced over the students and smiled. Now was as good a time as any. Lainee slowly got to her feet, just to walk around her desk and sit upon it. "Okay class. I'm sure everyone had good hols and you all have some catching up to do, but who thinks they know what today's lesson is all about?"

Kylie had followed Jynx into the classroom and arrived just in time to hear the professor ask if they knew what today's lesson was suppose to be on. She didn't have the slightest clue so she just sat there wondering if anyone was going to be able to answer the professor's question. She had taken a seat a few feet away from Matty and Jynx and was currently trying to get her potions ingredients in an orderly fashion.

Jynx broke off his conversation when the professor began to talk. He didn't want to get points taken away for talking once class got underway. How long this would last was anyones guess considering the young Huffle usually couldn't keep quite for very long.
Raising his hand into the air he said, "The Pepper-up potion perhaps." He wasn't a hundred percent sure that this was the right answer considering it had been a couple of days since he had looked over his syllabus. He wasn't one to continually read over it because he found that it was more entertaining to be surprised by the days lesson. But on this occasion he thought he knew.

"Yes, the pepperup potion! 5 points to the young badger. Now who could answer me why we would learn this fine potion? What is the point of the potion?" Lainee walked around her class. As always she wanted her students to know the reason of why they had to learn something before they learned something. And as always they had to come up with the answers themselves.

Jynx was glad to hear that he was indeed right on his guess and was always estatic to earn his house points. Raising his hand back into the air he decided to give her next question a shot also.
"Isn't the Pepperup Potions mainly used to cure the common cold." Jynx said with a smile trying to remember back to his first year when he went to the hospital wing to get some of it for his cold. He thought that was what the nurse had given him, but he could always be wrong in his guessing.

Kylie listened as Jynx gave yet another anwser. Was he going to answer all of the professors questions every single time she asks one? Oh well she thought that she knew of another use for the pepperup potions but she wasn't entirely sure on if it was correct or not. She had only heard about this use of it second hand and hadn't actually read it anywhere or anything.
"Can't it also be used to warm someone up?" Kylie asked wondering if her friend had indeed been right in telling her this.

Lainee nodded. Both answeres were good answers. "Yes, yes, 5 points for the lions and badgers. It cures the commoncold by warming the person up. It's really good and tasty. Any other answers?" Lainee waited.
ingrdients: cinnamon apple sticks ginger peppermint hot spice fire of dragon's breath
ground all your spices, but the hot spice, together into fine powder. While you grind boil your water. When it's boiling and bubbling pour in half and stir clockwise for full 5 minutes after 5 minutes stir counter clockwise for 5 minutes. Watch for any discoloration with your potion. There will be some. Then for the next 2 minutes stir clockwise then counter.
"Some of these ingrdients look like you could find them in a muggle household. All but the dragon's breath which you don't entirely need. Why would this potion be so readily available if we were at a muggles home?"

Matty had obviously stopped as the Professor had came present, this was even before she started talking. Looking then from Jynx to Kylie, she was slightly disgruntled because of the lack of effort she was putting into the lesson. So taking out the rest of her gear, Matty watched the Professor clearly, before writing down notes of what it did, and the ingredients and brewing instructions. Although she was totally out of the blue with her next question.
If a magical person needed to cure something at a muggle house, would they still even use a potion? she thought before looking to Jynx and smiling.

Jynx hurried and scribbled the ingredients and first part of the instruction on to a piece of parchment before raising his hand. “Because most of the ingredients are commonly used in muggle drinks and foods, so more then likely muggles would keep them on hand in there home.” Jynx said smiling. His dad was a muggle so he had been around a fair number of muggle things and knew just from experience that those ingredients were commonly mixed into different muggle drinks and foods, especially around the holidays.

Lainee clapped her hands. "Yes you explained why these ingredients are in a muggle home. 5 points to the badgers for trying. My question was why are these ingredients, which could be found in amuggle home, use in a potion. Wouldn't some muggle just find it and use it?" Lainee hoped she explained her question better.

Smiling and looking to Jynx, Matty then raised her hand before saying. "Well it wouldn't really matter if the muggle used the potion would it? I mean, if they had a cold, it would only make them better. They could even be making a drink like it for themselves." she hoped it would come closer to her answer. "Or, so if a magical person needed or wanted them while in the muggle world, they could easily access them?" maybe that would have covered it more. Looking back to her parchment in front of her, Matty then waited.
This lesson seemed a little herder then her others in fact.
