Jade bounced into the classroom. She was feeling great, and she looked pretty good too. Under her robes she wore a miniskirt, her four-inch high heeled sandals, and a pale blue peasant blouse. She had pulled her new dark hair up in a messy bun. She was ready for some fun. Unfortunately, a day of classes wasn't exactly Jade's idea of a good time...

Drew's attention was caught by the two girls, both of whom he knoew and both who were obviously out of the required uniform.
Unless the rules changed...
He slunk down lower into his seat, sulking in the knowledge that he'd never be able to get away with doing that.

{Exactly what I was thinking Drew.}
Lainee glanced at the two students who hadn't bothered to read her rules. "60 points from the house of Gryffindor for being out of uniform." Lainee looked hard and she could see that under her robes Jade wasn't dresed to perfection either. "Let's see I think your blouse isn't part of the school uniform, and since your robes are open neither is that skirt. So Jade 60 points from the house of Slytherin as well."
Lainee went back to waiting for more students to arrive before starting the class. She couldn't believe the two girls. Her rules were right there in their syllabus and they intentionally ignored it. "Oh and you ladies both need to leave and get changed before class starts or you'll lose more points for being tardy."

Sakuya blushed slightly, cursing at herself in her mind for forgetting such a trivial thing like school robes. The only excuse she had was that in her old school there was no need for such formalities as school houses and robes. It looked like that wasn't the case here at Hogwarts.
Excusing herself quietly from class, she retreated out of the hallway, closing the door behind her. Thankfully she had placed her robes atop of her trunk. Her small right hand retrieved a long and slender piece of elm from her jean pockets. She concentrated for a moment, specifically upon her robes, hoping it was going to work because she really didn't want to head back to the tower because she knew she would definitely be late and cause theif house more points.
She waved her wand majestically, muttering in a soft voice, "Accio robes..." Nothing had happened for the first few seconds. A minute then had passed yet she kept on concentrating. Another minute passed and she then contemplated whether or not to run back to her tower. Suddenly, she seemed to be attacked by a pair of robes. He stifled her surprised as she dropped her wand accidentally. Thanking Merlin, she quickly wore her Gryffindor robes. She retrieved her wand off the floor and took a steadying breath before she entered the room once more.
With her gaze downwards, she made her way to a empty desk in the back, looking at her books in front of her,
"Great...what a way to start the semester..." she muttered quietly to herself.

Lainee watched Sakuya and nodded her head much better. "Oh and Jade I strongly suggest you and Sakuya button your robes all the way up so I don't see the clothes beneath. I hope you both won't forget to dress properly for class next time." Lainee would wait just a few more minutes before starting. Not much.

For the first time in a long time Hiro had been suprised by his trip to potions. It had been a normal day until some empty clothes had hit him on his way. The blind ravenclaw never had expected something like this and empty clothes make less noise than people in clothes it had completely thrown him for a loop. As he entered the classroom he greeted the professor and sat on the other side of Drew.
"Man you won't believe what just happened..." Hiro began his story.

Noah followed closely behind Hiro and raised an eyebrow at the getup of Sakuya and Jade. Quietly, he greeted the Potions Master (Mistress??) with a nod and sat down behind Drew. Had everyone gotten the case of the Ivies? After sliding his bag under his desk, he got out two pens and started tapping them lightly on the edge. The pens that his muggle mother gave him were used as drumsticks. Noah couldn't help it, it was sort of a habit. An old 80s song was stuck in his head. It was an old song that became synonymous with synthesizers and dramatic openings. He began to hum the synthesizer part absentmindedly while drumming to it. He realized that he was probably being annoying. It was such an addictive tune that Noah really couldn't help himself. "THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!" Noah muttered under his breath dramatically. ( Europe - The Final Countdown. This song is seriously stuck in my head, and I had to post it somewhere)

Drew's first guess to Hiro's question would have been 'got an eyeful of a Gryffindor changing in the hallway' but of course that wasn't possible. Could a person hear someone changing? Now that was an interesting concept and one that would require some further thought.

Thank goodness he wasn't late, or so he hoped. Tristan slipped in the classroom nodding. As he walked around, he hoped that people would noticed his new hair color and he actually grew his hair out during the Winter Break. Actually probably know one would even notice it was Tristan. "Okay, folks, the new Tristan Howard is in the classroom," he said in a clear voice. Tristan actually experience more maturity during the break also. Boy was he glad to be back in school again.
He wondered why.

Charlie shot a death ray look at Jade. "Sixty points..." she muttered harshly under her breath. "I oughta shove sixty points up her..." This time around she wanted to conserve as many of their meager points as possible. Jade's stunt wasn't helping her any.

Alexis slipped into the potions classroom wondering wether or not she was late or not. But at this rate, she really didn't care. Winter break was over and now that meant she would have to get back to studying, what joy. However, coming back to Hogwarts wasn't a bad thing. "New Tristan Howard?" Alexis greeted with a smile as she approched Tristan. "Vell, I can see the hair..."

(I never said her robes were unbuttoned!!! I was just saying what was under her robes, trying to show what kind of mood she was in!!!)
Jade raised her eyebrows at the professor, then hurried out of the room to go to her dorm and change into her uniform before the class started. Jade found it hard to run in her heels, so on the way back, she kicked off her shoes and sprinted to the classroom.

{I know but I did}
Lainee clapped her hands and the children should be used to this by now having had her class more than a few times. "What are we learning today and why?" Lainee waited a few seconds. "And one person doesn't have to answer both questions and to why there is more than one answer." So take the opportunity to earn your house some points Lainee didn't say, but wanted to.

"It's the aging potion today," Drew answered, with a small smirk playing across his face. "Best used for getting into clubs when you're still underage."
Honestly, he couldn't think of an honest reason to use the potion. As far as he could tell it was to back up a lie that you were older than you said you were. Unless...
"I guess you could use it for a disguise. Take the potion and it doesn't matter that they're looking for a 16 year old kid because now you're looking 21." Sure, it was still working on a lie, but as an Auror he could see how it might come in handy.

"Would an aging potion just make a person look older or does the person act older, too? 'Cuz it could be used to make people more mature so they behave better or act their ages or whatever," Jade offered, eager to win back a few of the points she had lost her house.
