"I just," Lily was quiet for a bit thinking. "I'm just screwed up you know? You don't hate me do you? For breaking your heart? I just have issues. Issues that will never be solved." She was quiet again, playing with her potatoes.

Dan stared at Lily with his sometimes intense eyes. That was how they looked now. " I could never hate you, Lily. " He told her softly. " And I don't think there's anything wrong with you. " He claimed. Dan already knew that Lily knew what he thought of her. He'd told her time and time again. Now Dan didn't feel like wasting their time.

Lily nodded. "Nobody does," she said quietly. "I suppose I should get back to bed." She was playing with her potatoes. It was sort of akward sitting around and talking with your ex-boyfriend, knowing that he somewhat has feelings for you still.

Dan didn't rightly know what to say to that. He heard the ceaseless ticking of the clock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock. It was driving him insane in the silnce. " Ah, leaving me again? " He asked her with a joking expression. He didn't mean for the conversation to turn sour, just wanted to know what was up with her new.... boyfriend.

"Don't make it seem like that," Lily said quietly. "You know I'm messed up in the head. I do things that confuse me a lot. I just wish I could figure it out." She stood up and left her potatoes there. "I really should be getting back to bed."
