"Me? A silly goose? I think you're just stealing my words. Be more creative, would ya?" Keag replied, giggling as she felt the brush of Dean's thumb against her nose. She pulled back again as Dean leaned back, and looked at him with concern in her eyes as he stretched and sighed. "Are you okay?"

" Well, I'm terribly sorry for stealing your words then, do forgive me? " Dean responded, not quite answering her question as to whether or not he was okay. Okay was... well, it had to be defined first in order for him to be able to tell her if he was, in fact, okay. He paused and answered, " Fine, I just hurt my back yesterday. " He didn't know if the injury had occured yesterday or in the days prior. " I'm alright, " Dean went on, because he wasn't too sure if Keag would believe him too much.

"Always," Keag replied, though there were almost certainly situations in which he would not be forgiven. The Gryffindor's brow furrowed as her concern grew when he mentioned his back. "You hurt your back?" she asked. "Are you sure you'll alright? I could move if you want me to." The last words were a bit rushed as she placed her feet on the floor, trying her best to not cause him more pain than he was in already.

Dean nodded slightly, he didn't really want to talk about him being in pain, it was a bit of old news, not worthy of discussion really. " Yeah. No, it's fine, you don't have to move. " Dean said, his arms around her waist somewhat preventing her from standing and moving away from him. He shook his head a bit in an effort to somehow let her know he didn't really want to talk about it. " I'm fine. Believe me? " He asked, because he wanted her to.

Keagan didn't move to get off of Dean anymore than she had already, but she didn't move back to where she had been seated, either. "If you're sure," she answered, muttering slightly. If he said he was fine, she believed him, just as long as he hadn't been saying it for her benefit.
She looked at him, the concern fading, with an inquisitive expression on her face. 'He really isn't an overly talkative boy, is he?' she thought, recalling her conversation with Beni. She didn't ask any questions, though. Instead, she allowed a half smile to place itself on her lips and she stroked his cheek lightly with the tips of her fingers. Keag really didn't like the thought of Dean being in pain.

Dean half grinned and nodded, trying to show her he was okay. " I'm positive. " He replied, looking her over with a mischevious smile as she looked at him inquisitively. He couldn't help it. He leaned towards her a bit as she stroked his cheek lightly. Dean's eyes glanced around them, joking to see if anyone was looking. He muttered, " All clear. " With a grin and kissed Keag lightly, but full on the lips.

"'kay," Keag replied in a quiet voice, watching her fingers brush softly along Dean's jawline now. Somehow, the mischievous smile escaped her attention, as well as the look-over, but Keagan saw the glancing, plain as day. Laughing silently, her nose wrinkled a bit and her eyes squinted slightly as she shook her head just enough to make her hair sway; he was too much. In her current state, the kiss came as a surprise, though not an unwelcome one.
The Gryffindor halted the movement of her head as she felt the light pressure of Dean's lips on hers, and the hand on his cheek flattened out so her palm cupped his jawline instead. Returning the kiss for a few moments, Keagan then pulled back a tiny bit, though her lips were only centimeters from his, as she glanced up to Dean's eyes and thought of Beni's advice. On the one hand, Beni had said this shouldn't be the entire substance of a relationship. On the other, she had said to enjoy the moment...and this Lioness planned to do just that. Without another thought, she closed the slight gap again and, applying a bit of pressure now, continued the kiss from where it had left off. She hoped Dean wouldn't think anything of the brief intermission.
