"Oh, I think I know what you mean" Seanna said to Shay, a look of confusion still on her face. " So it means something unexpected is about to happen?" Seanna said to Shay, turning to her.
"I'm sorry, most English words I know, but some I do not" Seanna told Shay, looking down at her feet.

"I'd think so," Shay agreed. She had to remember to look that word up and use it correctly the next time it came up.
Listening to Seanna's other comment, Shay tilted her head for her own confusion and curiousity at the Hufflepuff girl. "Do you come from somewhere else? Or did you mean that you can't understand the British way of saying things?"

Seanna nodded to both of Shay's questions. "Yes, I come from somewhere else, I come from Italy and like I said, most of the words I understand, but some I don't" Seanna filled Shay in on where she came from; "How 'bout you?, are you from Britain?, or somewhere else?"

Trying to remember who else came from Italy, she nodded with a smile. "That's great, the pictures I've seen of Italy look great," And she remembered the other person she knew from Italy was Aiden, but that didn't matter for now. "Me? Oh, I come from Mexico. Though I'm flattered that you'd think that I'm from around here. I try to absorb as much of the lingo around here..."

"I'm from Milan, actually, it's got great shopping, excellent art museums and a neat little magical community" Seanna rattled off, thinking off her home town and getting a bit home sick from it.
"Your from Mexico?, what's it like over there?" Seanna asked, she didn't really know much about Mexico, but the only thing that came to mind was 'Burritos' for some strange reason.

"My city, Xalapa*, is very urban but quaint. It's not really great in anything, even the magical community's small. But either way, I loved it," Shay shrugged. It was hard not to just drop everything and find the means to go back.

"Your city sounds very nice, do you miss your city?" Seanna asked Shay, "I know I've been missing Milan lately, but Hogwarts is home for me now, but it's still nothing like Milan" Seanna stated, though she knew she could go back there when the holidays came.

"And there's nothing like Xalapa...." Shay told her, but she said it with more reservedness, that it looked like a response for herself. Just as they reached the door, a thought popped up in her mind.
"Merlin! I forgot! I've got to head to my common room. I was waiting for some correspondance from my mother. Oh no... Libra's probably still waiting there," She shook her head and looked at Seanna. "I'm so sorry, Seanna, querida. I've got to make a run to my house. I can't miss this."
Making a sorry smile to the Hufflepuff, she started to make the path to her house. "I bid thee farewell, Seanna!"
(This is going to have to be my last post.... I'm so so sorry.)
