Marvin had watched the girls slight hissy fit with an inwards smirk. He didn't know she would act like that but it was interesting. However Marvin knew as soon as the boy said his piece that the girl woul retort, the two would go back and forth non stop if someone didn't step in. "Braxton. Trixi" the man snapped at the two "One more comment from either of you and you'll have another detention" The man had infact believed that the boy didn't know the room was th staff room when he had told him, however the boy had been fighting and quite a few others things including having lied, which was why he was here now.
"Seeing as your all here I'll tell you what your going to do" Marvin said calmly to the gorup of students scattered around the armour gallery "You will be manually cleaning all these suits of armour. No magic allowed. TO make sure of that I've cast a non magic enchantment on this room. Buckets and cleaning gear are over there. Theres also a tap to refil your buckets from. I wont be staying I've got some paperwork to do but I'll be popping back in to check on you at random times, Professor Norbrook might stop over at some point too. Are there any questions before I go?" Marvin looked around at the students in the room. The big kids were very likely to be ab le to control those little ones. He was sure Drew, at least, would be able to handle he young Raven.

"Yes sir," Drew spoke up, wanting to make sure he wasn't going to be responsible in any way or form for the crazy little Slytherin. "And what if certain people continue to throw hissy fits and either don't do their share or impede us from completing our task?" he asked.
If he had any say in the matter, he'd string the little brat up by her ankles for the duration of the detention, even if it meant he had to do twice as much. At least they wouldn't have to worry about her making things worse.

Marvin turned and gave Drew a smile, he knew the boy wouldn't have protested about the detention assigned and wanted to laugh at the boy's question however instead kept quite a straight face "I wil be stopping by every now and again to check that everyone's working and that no-one's causing any trouble. If you want when I return you can report any problems to me. " Marvin said to Drew kindly. The boy was a smart lad and his question was quite valid. But Marvin was sure after a few thrown hissy fits and discovering she couldn't leave the girl would probably do the work. Marvin was going to be locknig the door so she couldn't get out. But he would be coming back to check on them regulary so they shouldn't mind too much about the door being locked.

"Thank you," Drew answered with a smile, feeling that was a sufficent response. Without any other questions he went to grab and fill two buckets with water and soap, dropping two brushes into each before taking them both back to where he had been originally. With a crooked smile, he placed on at Felicity's feet and put the other at Braxton's. "We'll share, okay?" he told the Littledude. Drew would have to empty out the dirty water twice as often, but it would be easier to keep an eye on the first year.

Celina listened to the bantering back and forth between the two younger students, and then the chatting between Drew and Braxton and just stayed the way she was. She was slunk against the wall, sitting and trying to control herself. She hoped that by now her eyes were regaining the chocolate brown they usually were, without the bloodshot.
Cleaning without magic? It was safer, any ways with whose company she now held. Felicity couldn't use a wand worth anything, Drew would want to save them all and clean the armor himself, and the younger students...well, Celina just wasn't in the mood. So, cleaning without magic worked for her.
Getting up as Drew and Atwood talked she brushed by the professor, an inch or so away from him and started to grab her own cleaning supplies. The water was clean and soapy, and as Celina looked into the bucket she was glad that the soap made it so she couldn't see herself. She probably looked horrid, and for not usually caring about how she looked, today was just one of those days where she knew she felt just as good as she looked.
Taking her bucket to the far corner of the room, she knelt down and began to scrub. Celina sighed and began to work, not looking back at the other students or the professor. This was going to be a long afternoon.

Braxton was just about to ask Drew what he meant by ‘getting into trouble talk’ when he heard Trixi’s comment. Well that certainly wasn’t going to do, now was it? On the verge of opening his mouth to shoot a comment back he heard Drew and shut it. Yes they were going to be men about it, well that and then there was the fact that Marvin just stepped in too and he really didn’t want another detention with the man. “Yeah,” he said in argeeance with Drew.
He listened to the instructions and to Drew’s question, which he had to smirk at when it came to the hissy fit part, before it even occurred to him to move and get his things. But when it finally did Drew was already back saying that they would share. “Alright we can share,” Braxton said with a shrug. He didn’t mind sharing. He wasn’t quite sure why they were sharing, but if the older Raven wanted to he wouldn’t mind.

All right, so it wasn't just one child, it was two children and cleaning supplies. Babysitting and cleaning? Could've been worse fates. Hearing the shouting of the young Slytherin she knew by face, not quite by name, she scowled at her. It was night time, no reason for shouting, and it wasn't as though they had to do something overly disgusting, it was just cleaning, it couldn't be that bad. Sighing heavily and crossing her arms in front of her, she waited for the next arrivals and instructions.
Seeing Drew's smile, she just couldn't return it, she wasn't feeling up to par about the whole thing, and she was ready for a bit of relaxation as she hadn't had much as of late, but she wouldn't be getting it that particular night. Instead, she looked away from him and kept her eyes on the floor at her feet, ignoring the fact that he hadn't exactly greeted her in any way, but rather jumped the gun on greeting one of the younger students.
However, when she heard the footfalls of another, she glanced up to see Celina looking how she felt. The poor crazy Eagle was taking it pretty hard it seemed, but she'd have to remind her friend it wasn't like a black mark, it was just a detention. And detentions weren't really that bad, or at least in the muggle world they weren't, but Felicity doubted they'd mean much more in the wizarding world than the muggle.
Where she stood, Felicity could hear the whisperings going on between the two boys, and the bits and pieces she heard didn't put her in good spirits. Of course, she only heard a few sparse words and it wasn't as though everything was stringing together very well, but what she did hear she'd didn't like too much. Rolling her eyes out of frustration, merely at herself for what she'd gotten her friends into, she again sighed, waiting for some form of instruction and got her wish quite soon.
Questions? How hard was it to understand they'd be cleaning? And babysitting. All right, so she was curious why the two younger ones were there, but she wasn't about to say anything, it wasn't her business. And when Drew asked his question, she shot him quite the look. Felicity didn't care much for his tone, and even if she was boardering on the same thoughts, she wouldn't have asked the question the way he had, it was rude.
If the girl didn't do her work, then she didn't do it. That was all there was to it, no sense in making a directed remark about it. On the other hand she had a question about the charm he'd casted. "Sir, what if we need our wand for something? Being you've casted a spell, is it just directed toward the cleaning part of the punishment, or is it for all spells? Because technically, stripping us of powers to do something is as good as taking our wands away."
While she hadn't even bothered to bring her wand, she was curious. It wasn't that she disagreed with going for manual labor, as really she preferred it, kept everyone around her safer, but what if something came up and they needed the use of a wand? True, there was doubt that there'd be any need to cast a spell, but what if?
And then her attention was taken away from the professor by Drew's little action. True, it was sweet in a way, but it made her feel helpless. She could very well fill a bucket with soap and water on her own, it wasn't that hard. Without waiting for much of an answer, she picked up the bucket and moved it far away from Drew. She was sure at this point he was going to think she was angry with him, which would serve him right to think. She was.
Cleaning was something she could do, and do quite well, she didn't need his help filling a bucket.

Marvin watched as Drew went and fetched himself and Felicity a bucke of water each. The little Raven, Braxton was told to share Drew's. Marvin was glad Drew accepted his answer. He watched the other Raven girl go and fetch herslef a bucket too. Then he got asked another question. Marvin gave Felicity a smile, it was an inteligent question. "The spell removes all magic." Marvin said to Felicity looking at the girl "But you have no need to worry, I will be checking in often to see how you's are doing and the spell will stop if anything close to an emergency occur's" Marvin smiled, it was a fancy spell but it worked wonders. "So if you absolutely no question about it need magic which is likely only in an emergency they the spell will cancel so that its possible to fix what ever has gone wrong." Marving gave the girl a smile.
He glanced around the room to check up on the students, most of them seemed to be starting the cleaning. "I'll be back to check on you's soon" Marvin said glancing around at the students in the room once more. Deciding that they were al set and had no more question's Marvin went to the door of the trophey room. "I will be locking the door behind me so that you all stay here..." Marvin said, his eyes drifting to the Slytherin firstie "But like the no magic spell, in an emergency it'll unlock" Marvin knew that that would sort out any of their problems. Marvin shut the door with a click before locking it. Turning on his heel he headed up to his office. He would return back to check on them soon.

As Atwood left the gallery, Celina felt herself give a shaky sigh almost about to cry again. This was horrible, and she doubted anyone would even understand. As she thought about Felicity's question, she scoffed a bit shaking her head and scrubbing the suit of armor. Lost in her thoughts it startled her a bit when the suit lifted it's foot for her to have a better angle. Celina jumped back a bit, the hand now with towel, landing smack dab in the water bucket making some of her water go splashing onto the floor.
She groaned a bit, and went to pick up the spilt water, still avoiding the water which was now losing some bubbles. She didn't want to see herself, couldn't stand to see herself in this position. As she turned around, the knight's foot was still raised in the air. Looking up at him, she glared a death-like glare and cussed under her breath, loud enough for it to be heard, however. It wasn't much like her, but neither was getting detentions. She went back to cleaning the raised foot. I hate you......I just really do... she thought at the armor. Right now, you are the scorn of my existence.

In Drew's vast experience, he had discovered that most professors claimed that a no magic spell had been cast, but very few actually really did it. It was possible to create such a spell, but quite difficult and honestly, not worth the hassle most of the time. A few professors did actually bother, but yes, most just said they did or simply created jinxes to backfire on anyone trying to use a spell on the set task.
Drew wasn't sure if Atwood was a bluffer or a botherer, but the Ravenclaw wasn't about to call the man on it anymore than he had intended to use magic for the detention. Why give that tidbit of information away to the firsties? The point was he was pretty comfortable with the knowledge that if he actually needed his wand, he'd be able to use it.
He was ready to get to it, knowing the faster they started, the sooner he'd be in bed, but he paused, noticing Felicity when she huffed off. What had he done now? Was she mad too? Did she think this was all his fault?
"You're going to work way over there?" he asked, concern and confusion written on his face.

Hearing the professor, she couldn't say she liked the idea of being locked in a room and had been about to suggest he let them test it somehow, but she heard the click of the door closing before she had the chance to form the words. Wonderful. Hopefully there wouldn't be an incident, and if there were one they'd be able to get out. Why lock the door though? It wasn't as though they were going to leave, then again, peering at the Slytherin, she wondered if she'd try to get out of it. Possibly.
Picking up a brush from the water, got herself busy to start scrubbing the old armour, wondering how long it'd been since they'd last had a proper cleaning. It probably was a bit of time ago, though they didn't look worse for wear, which would make it a little easier to clean, at least they didn't have too many spots.
Setting up to get the task going, she nearly let a giggle escape when she heard Celina. At least her knight was being kind enough to give her a bit of help, although it might be considered rude the way he went about it, at least she didn't have to over-extend her back by leaning too far over.
"Might as well," she replied shortly to the older Ravenclaw as she began brushing the knight. Turning to give him a small glare, she just didn't have it in her to do when she saw the look on his face. While she wasn't happy at that moment about what he'd done, it didn't really do any good to hold it against him either. She was tired, when she was tired she sometimes lashed out a little about little things, and this was just one of those little things.
"I mean, ummm...well, I...I might as well start over here, right? Jus...just so this end gets going to be done," she ended rather unsuccessfully. Now he was just making her feel bad about what she'd done, but she still contended that she was indeed mad at him for making her look unable to fill a bucket. And it wasn't as though he had done it for Celina or the Slytherin girl, so that made it that much worse in her mind.

Trixi could have smacked the boy who asked the professor the question that was clearly about her. She didn't like the sound of him locking them in either. As soon as the professor was gone Trixi raced to the door. She grabbed the door handeled and tired to turn it. It wouldn't turn. Trixi banged at the door with all her might, the door banged but wouldn't open. "YAAARRGGHH!" Trixi yeled in frustration. She didn't want to clean, they always made her clean at the orphanage. It was just like back there. They would lock her in a room and make her clean something. She would always have to scrub those tall white walls. She didn't want to do no more cleaning. Trixi turned on the spot in frustration. It was all Braxton's fault. She turned back and gave the door one final kick, the bang echoing around the armour gallery.
Trixi stormed accross the room once more and for one moment as she grabbed a sponge it looked as though she had given in and was going to do the cleaning. However she turned on the tap and soaked the sponge rather then filling a bucket. Then without even a second thought the youngster launched the dripping wet sponge at Braxtons head. The big boy who had been listening to Braxtons lie's seemed to be momentarily distracted. She'd throw one at him in a moment. Trixi turned to grab another sponge.

Braxton had been about to start cleaning, having gotten bored of the Raven and Gryffindors little dispute, before he was blindsided by a wet sponge. Water Dripping down his head he just scowled over in Trixi's direction. He knew exactly were that had come from, after all Trixi had just been throwing another hissy moments before. Knowing that it had to be her, he picked up the sponge and soaked it in the bucket Drew had gotten them before launching it right back at her, with out even thinking about it. "We don't need an extra sponge thank you very much," he said as he aimed for her head, just like she had done to him.

"Okay..." Drew answered, not buying her excuse. It was obvious even to him that something had made her mad and now she didn't want to tell him. Well, how was he supposed to fix it if he didn't even know what it was? Why did girls always think that guys were mind readers?
He turned back to his scrubbing, biting his lip nervously as he tried to figure out what he had done this time.
But just then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the sponge and reached out to grab it, dropping it neatly into the bucket he and Brax were working from. If the Slytherin tried to mess with them again, he just might check to see if Atwood was a bluffer or a botherer.
"Let it go," Drew told the Littledude. He didn't need to get in the middle of a sponge war.

Celina worked her way up the suit's leg, and was now cleaning his inner thigh. Or at least she was calling it a him. Either way, she hardly realized how awkward cleaning a suit of armor could be until she got to this point. She heard a giggle from a bit off but decided probably that it wasn't about her so she didn't bother. She was to much in a state of discomfort at what part of the suit she was cleaning in order to care.
That was of course until she saw out of the corner of her eyes things flipping back and forth. The younger students were arguing again and as Celina turned her head all she could do was scowl and be annoyed. They were messing up the room more than it had been, and it seemed as if Drew was right. They being older were probably the only people actually going to clean the bloody room. That figured. Celina looked back at the job she had at hand and froze. Her hand was rested on an even more awkward place than just the inner thigh, and as she pulled it away quickly her face turned a scarlet shade of red. Dear Merlin! she told herself, as she swore she heard a giggle coming from the armor.
