Krissy had snuck away from the huffle common room, making due sure no-body followed her. She didn't want anyone to know what she was doing. She snuck up the hallway into an empty classroom.
She pulled her backpack off her back and pulled out of it a magical radio. She had decided she wanted to learn how to dance, she had a few books on it but they weren't too much of a help, so she figured the best way was through practicality. So she had snuck away to learn.
She shut the classroom door behind her and looked around. The room was clear, thankfully.
Krissy switched the music on, wanting to see how the beat went first.

Scott walked down the hallway, very lost and confused in his thoughts. Unlike the usual things, this time there was a better explanation than girls. This time it was because his sister wrote him a letter, a very confusing letter. She had gone off on an explanation about some muggle things, which switched over to wizarding things, which then switched over to a guy she met, which then switched over to something else. It was all very confusing.
Sure, his sister was a girl, but then again, she was his sister. So his confusion wasn't because of a girl, it was because of his sister. Scott continued to walk down the corridor, he was sure the library was around there somewhere. If only he'd received a bloody tour when he'd arrived, he wouldn't be so lost.

Krissy learnt the beat of the song and glanced down to one of the books. She flicked it open to somewhere in the middle. Krissy didn't have any plan on learning basics first, she wanted to learn the good stuff, she would work through the book by flicking to a random page. Sounded like a good plan to her. Sure she didn't have a partner to dance with, but she was sure when she needed one she could improvise, or pretend.
Krissy turned the music up a bit louder and restarted the song. She began to move in time with the music, basically just stepping side to side. "Hmm..." she said to herself "Maybe I should look at the basics. And she flicked back to the front of the book. She had read most of it any way, or at least, looked at the pictures. Reading wasn't her favourite thing in the world. It was pretty good because it was a magical book so the pictures moved and showed the dance moves. Which made things really simple.

Making his way down the hall, Scott heard something. It was a single noise either, it was a continuous one. Scott meandered down the hall, looking for the source of the noise. The library had slipped his mind for the time being. Actually, so had the letter, and other things. The noise was very slowly becoming louder, much more understandable. At first it had sounded like a murmuring, then it was clearer. There was no doubt about what it was.
Scott followed the noise, if he could hear that, then there had to be another person around somewhere. There was no way another person wasn't around, though it could have been one of the ghosts, or even peeves (is he even on the site?). However, Scott doubted that. There had to be someone else in that corridor. As Scott continued on, he found himself to be even more lost than he had been to begin with. A tour would really have been nice, he thought. Even a student could be hired to give one if none of the professors could find time to do it. Scott neared the source of the noise. It wasn't even just noise anymore, it was music. Yes, there was music coming from one of the rooms.

Krissy knew nothing of the oncoming predator that was stalking her music. She had finally picked up the rhythm of the beat and was moving with it happily. She watched the people in the book move to the music and tried (as well as she coudl) to copy their exact moves. Though she kept getting stuck on them when she forgot what they were and getting behind the people, making it awefully difficult to learn the dance.
"If only they had a pause button..." Krissy mumbeled to herself.
Krissy restarted the song once more, deciding to try again at the dance. She hadn't cleared much room in the room though and kept having to make all her steps short. But this time she was determined to get it right. Krissy started from the beginning again, doing the first few mvoes of the dance she was trying to learn. She had figured if she learnt a whole dance maybe that would help her dance easier later.
"3 steps back... Wave my arms... do a twirl..." she muttered what she had to do to herself, reminding herself of the moves. Sure they were a bit complcated than that, but she didn't really need to explain them to herself, just remind herself what she was doing.
Krissy took another 3 steps backwards and then went to swing her leg, but, alas, it got caught in one of the chairs. Krissy fell backwards into one of the tables, knocking it over, which led to knocking the next 3 tables in that row over, along with their chairs. Making a rather loud successive chain of crashes, as each one hit the ground.
Krissy landed on the floor with a thump, and yelped slightly from the shock of falling backwards. She saw all the tables come cashing down. "Who ever lined these tables up are idiots..." she grumbeled, remaining on the ground amounst the chaos of the tables and chairs. But her music continued playing happily, and the people in the book continued dancing as though nothing had gone wrong.

Scott heard the music stop. That annoyed him, he thought he was finally on his way to civilization, then suddenly that hope was gone. Or was it? he heard it again. This time he picked up speed as he listened for the music. As he rounded a corner the music was a bit louder, and he stopped outside the door it was coming from. Scott reached out for the handle, then stopped. What if it was a professor's office? What if is was a room that was secretly trying to trap him? What if...his thoughts trailed off there as he heard a loud crash, then several following ones.
Without another moment's hesitation, he opened the door. As he looked around at the room, he noticed the toppled over desks, he noticed the music, he noticed the girl, he noticed the book. Wait, the girl? Scott walked over to her and peered down, it wasn't just any girl. It was the Hufflegirl who spoke her mind. "Krissy?" he asked with a concerned smile. "Everything all right?"

Krissy looked up and saw Scott there above her. She noticed the concern on his face. "Yeah..." she murmered looking back down towards her legs, which still had a chair sitting on top of them. A flush of red had mvoed accross her face. Someone had found her when she was trying to learn how to dance, but even worse, it was a cute guy, and even worse, he had come in just after she had toppeled over a million tables and such, Krissy just hoped he didn't look at the book on the table... maybe then she could pretend she just tripped...
Krissy looked up at Scott "So..." she said, a bad attempt of making it seem like everything was normal "What are you doing down here?" The music was still playing.

A hearty chuckle left his mouth at her quesiton. "It seems to me the right question to ask would be: what are you doing down there?" Scott shuffled down a bit and lifted the chair off of her legs, he hoped she wasn't hurt. his eyes moved around the room and caught sight of the book, but didn't linger long. After he set the chair down he offered his hand to the red-head to help her up.
"So," he smiled at her. The last meeting had been a pleasant one, and if she hadn't changed and was really the real Krissy, not someone under the polyjuice potion, she would be up to something fun. "I was lost, actually looking for the library, and I lost myself. Then I heard music," he grinned as he could still hear it. "And then I heard this unusually loud crash, so I thought I'd investigate. Play the hero part if I could."

Krissy was thankful he had lifted the chair off her lags. Her original plan had been to kick it and send it flying, though she'd have prob hurt herself more. Krissy happily took his hand and his help up. "Thanks" she said. She glanced down at her legs, which luckily didn't seem to have anything more and a little bit of scaped skin, which wasn't even bleeding. Though she knew a few bruises would show up in a few days time.
She laughed as he said he would play the hero. "Oh, so my next line should be 'Oh my hero you saved me' right?" Krissy said giggeling, having put on one of the distressed mistresses kinda voices while saying the middle part.

A broad grin crept across his face as he glanced over at her. "You're welcome," he replied to her thanks. At least she was all right, and she was even joking with him, too. "Well, that all depends. That'd be your cue if I played the hero part well enough," he winked at her. It was definitely Krissy and some crazed maniac under the polyjuice potion, and that was all the better.
Scott's eyes wandered around the room again, taking in all that was there. There was a bag, a radio, a book with people moving, and Krissy. Immediately his eyes moved back to the book. That was interesting, it wasn't just any book with moving characters, they were moving together in a rythmatic movement. "So, uh, what's that?" he asked a casually as possible, as he gestured to the book.

"Oh I think you play a marvelous hero" she said grinning to Scott.
And then there it came. The dreaded question. The book. "Uhhh..." Krissy said trying to think of a way out of it. "Hey look! A bird!" she said pointing in the opposite direction. A very bad distraction... but it might work...
Krissy moved over to the book and flicked it shut, unfortunatly showing the front cover of the book. Which showed two people on it dressed in dancing gear dancing to and fro accross it. Krissy knew her cover was blown. "Wow.. that was one strange bird..." she said a slightly pink blush coming accross her face, but laughter following her statement. She couldn't help but laugh, that was a really bad try at distracting him.

Krissy's distraction method did work, as Scott turned to face where she pointed. Unfortunately he didn't see anything, not a bird or any flying object was in sight. Scott turned back to Krissy, a confused look on his face. It could have been that she had scared it away when she exclaimed about it.
When Scott heard her last statement, then the giggling, he realized he'd been fooled. Why would she want to fool me, though? he asked himself. Then the thought came back about the book. his eyes searched it out and seen the cover. Dancing? Scott thought about it for a moment. Why would she need a dancing book? Scott couldn't dance to save his life, but he'd never thought that a book could teach him. As he thought about it he realized Krissy must not have been able to dance either. his eyes moved back to her face and he seen the blush, that had to be it. "So," he had to say something. "Learning a new way to train an animal?" The question wasn't a great one, but he didn't want to directly ask her if she couldn't dance and was learning. So, he remembered she liked animals, why not try a joke?

Krissy couldn't help but grin at the fact he had turned, normally people just looked at her as if she was insane. But Krisst laughed more at his next statement. She knew he had seen the book now, there wasn't much point in trying to hide it. "Yeah something like that" she said with a small smile.
Krissy looked down to the book and bit her bottum lip. She really hadn't planned on anyone finding out. but at least it was someone who was trust worthy. Or as she saw him he was. "Ain't no good at it though.." Krissy said picking up the book and flicking through the pages, not really searching for anything, just keeping her hands occupied.

"Well, I'm sure if you had the right kind of animal, you'd be able to train it well." Scott was more than sure that was why she had the book, she was learning to dance. he grinned at her and decided to drop the joke. "So, is there a special occasion coming up, or did you just decide that that book looked mighty fun to read?"
Scott looked back over at the book as she flipped through it. It looked like there were some complicated things in it. he moved over to stand next to her as she flipped through it, and tried to read some of things. "You know, I've had many a dances I've had to attend," he said as he remembered the formal affairs he'd been forced to attend because his family was invited to pureblood social meetings. "But I don't believe I ever learned the art myself."

Krissy rolled her eyes at the boy. "Yeah.. fun to read.." she said. She then poked her tongue out at him. "And I can train some animals, like my dog, he know's lots of tricks" Krissy said grinning.
Krissy smiled as Scott mvoed next to her looking at the book. "Yeah I can't dance very well either" Krissy said with a small laughI just thought it'd be kinda fun to learn."
"You know..." Krissy said an idea suddenly coming to her. She turned to look at Scott. "I could use a partner.." she looked at Scott with a sweet kinda smile, one she hoped, he wouldn't be able to say no to. "We could learn together.."
