Maybe she should have stayed invisible, Celina thought. She was just glad that her parents would never find out about this incident. She sighed and smiled softly, the day was getting a little better...except she was still extremely wet. She must have looked like a drown rat.
"So...," she whispered, "...what would or could improve these circumstances?" Celina was still worried about who could indeed find out about this incident. She was supposed to send a reply to the letter her parents had sent to her that day. One thing she didn't need was to send a warning letter home to her parents before her Head of House, Professor Raynor, sent a letter home.
Though, after re-looking at the boy and his smile, she highly doubted that he would get her, Emerald or Felicity in trouble. Thank Merlin, Celina thought.

Paying attention now, she laughed a little at Corey's statement. While circumstances may have been able to be better, things wouldn't have been nearly as interesting as they were. Nearly having to strain her hearing to listen to the softly spoken words Celina said, she decided she could think of many ways. Though most of said ways would have made things even more awkward than not, they surprisingly would've improved the situation.
Suddenly, it hit Felicity like a brick in the face. She and Celina were still very wet, and with toilet water nonetheless. Thinking if she should take the risk and try using her wand, she drew it out and pointed the end at herself. Felicity was kind of hanging back, so if something backfired she was sure it wouldn't cause a very large scene among the other two. Very quietly, mumbled, she said an incantation. And of course nothing happened; she tried again to no avail. Perhaps the wand had been a joke wand because it seemed to either not work or things went horribly wrong with it.
Motioning her wand at herself, whispering the bloody incantation over and over, she lost herself again. There was no way the wand was going to defeat her, just like toilet.

"What could be better?" Corey echoed briefly, a joking smile comign to his face. "Well, for starters, the both of you could be dry instead of soaked, but I suppose that's unavoidable." He paused. "And...well actually I think that's about it...umm...forgive me for seeming rude but, what's got you so shy and quiet? I don't think either of us is going to hurt you or anything" Alright, so corey was becoming alittle annoyed by having to strain to hear, but, if straining to hear was what it called for to make a friend then so be it. In all actuality he was merely curious, as, most people at Hogwarts weren't this shy, in fact to his knowledge no one was.
Glancing over at where he'd thought Felicity would be, he found her to be surprisingly not and only by craning his neck around di he find her to be behind them, fiddling with her wand, presumably trying the same drying charm he hadn't mastered quite yet. "An...why the in the name of Merlin are you back there? You'll dry out eventually!"

Celina had been caught off guard with the serious 'why-are-you-so-shy' question. "Ummm...well...." Celina moved in a couple of steps closer seeing him almost falling forward trying to hear her. How do you explain that everything in your life is for your parents and that when you try to make friends it always blows up in your face? Celina thought to herself as wondering how one answer's this type of question.
She looked around, almost hoping that Felicity would do something outrageous to cover for her. She didnt' know the girl all that well, but she was in need of a distraction. This was the first time anyone had ever come out and said anything to her about her shyness. She held her cat tighter wondering why her palms had become so sweaty and gross. "Well, I don't get out much," Celina mentioned as she noticed Felicity out of the corner of her eyes. The Gods must have answered her prayers for distraction, because there she was pointing her wand at herself trying to dry off. Celina could help, but this was just to funny to watch.

Not paying attention to the conversation between the other two, she concentrated on getting the spell right. Flick, incantation, wand pointed. Again, again, again, and yet again. The darn thing wasn't working in the slightest. Getting a bit frustrated, she flung her wand a bit carelessly at herself, only to be disrupted and startled out of her state of mind. Looking up she caught the tail end of what the Head Boy said, completely ignoring what she'd been doing before.
"Maybe," she replied. Sniffing at the air, it smelled like something was burning. Looking around for the source of the smell, she couldn't find it. At least not until she looked down and noticed her left pant leg on fire. Again she tried pointing her wand at herself, this time using the water spell she knew, but to no avail.

Celina gasped! This girl really had no luck that was good luck. Without thinking Celina took out her wand from her pocket and shouted out "Accio Water!" The idea was have the water from the bathroom that was all over the place fly through the air at Felicity not only soaking her once more, but putting out the fire as well. What she failed to realize was that even though Accio called objects and things to a person, it goes to the person who is called, and Celina was no where near Felicity. She was more near Corey who in less than the second it took to think about where the water was going to go, had soaked the both of them with the remains of the toilet water from Myrtle's toilet. Shocked and coughing out what water had entered Celina's throat, Emerald meowed in frantics because she had just became more wet than she had ever been before. And on top of all of that Felicity was STILL ON FIRE!
Her distraction had turned from funny to horrific in less than five minutes and Celina could only hope that there next attempt to put the girl out was better than her first.

Having turned his attention from Felicity when Celina spoke, Corey nodded in understanding, sort of. It was a vague answer but if it was all she was willing to give then so be it. It was, after all her life and her right to live it as she chose, if shy was her choosing, Corey had no right to make it otherwise. When Celina turned her attention back to their other Gryffindor compatriot Corey's eyes followed and only in passing heard the summoning charms cast.
However before he could even raise a decent shield charm, he was suddenly soaked, cold, downright plain and simple wet, and Felicity was...still...on fire...bullocks. And once again it would be Charms to the rescue as Corey pulled out his wand again...bloody price of having been through more classes.
"Aguamenti" While this was a charm he couldn't expect them to know, there was always that muggle method that would've worked quite easily...Merlin he was cold. Alright, so Felicity was alittle more wet, but she wouldn't become roasted lion...so, wet in this case was best, right?

As soon as Celina cried out the spell, Felicity knew what was going to happen, but was much too distracted with trying to put her pant leg out to care. However, hearing the whooshing sound of water, she looked up just in time to see both soaked. Unfortunately there was no time for laughter like she normally would have done, her leg was warming up a bit too much for her liking for that.
Again pointing her wand down, she tried the water spell once more, and was most surprised when water appeared. Though, she knew it wasn't from her wand as the direction it sprayed from was off. Looking up, her eyes wide, she didn't really know how to thank the Gryffindor, after all she knew it wasn't Celina who had saved her, unless the girl's voice suddenly deepened.
Breathing deeply to calm herself, she stepped closer to the two, not exactly sure how to thank her friend. "Thanks Celina," she mumbled to the girl, knowign she had at least tried. Turning her brown eyes to Corey, she smiled a bit sheepishly. It had been him to save her after all. Wrapping her arms around the boy's neck, she planted a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you."

Celina looked down and couldn't believe the error she had made. Now not only was she re-soaked, Emerald was soaked, and Corey was soaked. But before she knew it the boy had re-soaked Felicity as well, putting her leg out and saving the day. Whew, that was close, Celina thought trying to regain control over the flipping out cat in her arms. "It's ok, Em" she soothed to the best of her ability.
The Gryffindor girl came up to her and thanked her for her effort. "No, it's ok..."Celina started. Unfortunately, before she could finish and apologize for her error, the both Gryffindors were intherlocked, from what Celina could see, and Felicity had placed a giant kiss on his cheek. Celina turned away really quick as to give them some privacy, and could feel her own face becoming pink. Let's just say, that was the last thing she expected to see.

If it was the last thing the ravenclaw had expected to see, it was the last thing Corey had expected period. The day was awkward enough just with the initial meeting and now, all of them soaked and dripping wet. And now he had to try and live this down on top of it? Well, needless to say Corey's face was now a close second rival to that of a Gryffindor red.
"Umm..." Was all he could intially manage, knowing full well he probably wouldn't be allowed to live this down--ever. On the updside, at least neither Starbreeze had seen it, then he really would be up a creek. "It wasn't...much of anything really..." Alright, Corey was officially riding those internal rapids that were trying to find out what just happened, why, why it had to happen to him, and what to next. It's kinda like trying to white water raft in an innertube...
It's not recomended.

It might have been awkward for the other two, but Felicity felt the need to thank her friend. Grinning, she pulled out of the hug and stuck her tongue out at the boy. Did he really think it wasn't much of anything? If it had been just Celina and herself, Felicity could have ended up with rather harsh burns. Not to say that if someone else had been present, with the ability of thinking on their feet, she would have still been on fire. But it had been Corey who had stopped it from growing into a bigger problem. "Wasn't "much of anything'?" she quoted his words. "You just stopped a massive problem, I think it was more than you're thinking it is."
"And Celina," she said turning to the girl. "Really, thank you." Had she not thought she would frighten the crazy Ravenclaw, she would have thrown her arms around the girl as well. As it was, she didn't think it would be all that great of an idea, best not to make her think she was crazy than she probably already did.

Celina turned back around. Her face was almost as red as the Head Boys, and she wasn't even the one who was hung off of and kissed. Celina just wasn't used to as much PDA. Her parent's really weren't into showing the affection others may show outside of closed doors, so it had been a bit awkward for her. Hoping her face would chill out and no one would ask her anymore questions about being shy, or why she had turned red, she nodded quickly at the blond and said, "Yea, umm, no problem."
Emerald finally had calmed down within her owner's arms. She was wet, cold, and still in pain. She meowed and wondered why her owner was even still conversing with these people. It wasn't at all like Celina to stick around and talk to people, especially when something crazy was going on. She would usually have been the last person to stick around. Emerald meowed again. She was tired.

Well, at least it couldn't get much worse than what it was already at--of course, knowing his luck fate would find such a way to make it happen. That, would be of no surprise, such was Murphy's Law, which constantly adhered to life. "It was nothing, really, just did what had to be done." Corey replied, a feeble attempt at shrugging off the extra attention. So he was a hero, and like most heroes, he didn't enjoy having it made public. Even though, most within Hogwarts probably wouldn't consider him such anyways.
The seventh year took another look at both himself and his two--technically three--soaked comrades and shook his head which was accompanied by a weak chuckle. "We should probably all go back to the common rooms and get changed...I don't think air drying is much of a viable option now." Corey stated, tuckign his wand back into his soaked pockets--not that a single piece of him would actually be dry at this point.

Noticing how wet she now actually was, Celina nodded in agreement. This wasn't actually turning out to be too bad of a day, at least she wasn't in trouble. And heck, she tried to save someone, even thought it was unsuccessful. It was almost as exciting as her run in with the second year slytherin this summer in diagon alley. Watching as Corey tried to get his wand back into his pocket while they were all wet was a tad funny and it made Celina giggle. Yea, nothing was going to go in and out of her pockets for a while. She could feel her clothing start to shrink already still on her body. She needed to get changed, but there was still one thing she needed to ask of Corey before they all left each other's sides.
"Oh, Corey," Celina said shyly. "Do you know how many posts it is to have fifty percent of one thousand?" She smiled at the guy, and knew that lunch was waiting for them after they got changed.
"I'll see you guys later," she said shyly as she cuddled up to her cat and went back to the Ravenclaw tower.

How many...posts...are fifty percent of a thousand? Well..that was simple, five-hundred but what in the devil was a post? Unless this was fate's twisted way of telling him how many hours of sleep he'd be missing or how many rounds he'd be doing this term, he didn't know what the girl was talkng about. Maybe it was the water...or...maybe it was the coldness...or the wetness...or something to do with her cat...or a milion other possabilities! Either way, he was cold, he was wet, and he wanted something dry, warm, and apetizing.
"Well, we've got five floors to climb...and an extra fifteen or so pounds of water to drag us down..best get started hmm?" He questioned the fifth year, using the minor amount of time to wring out a portion of his robes. "Make that fourteen-point-something."
