Xander looked at Tianne as she entered the Pyramid, followed by Ellie. He then scanned the room and saw Abigail Scott still there, "Ms. Scott, is there a particular reason why You are not going inside the pyramid?" he asked. Another Gryffindor headache I suppose he thought, looking at Abiagail with raised eyebrows. He had hoped that he wasn't gonna get any hard headed students here, "This is still a history lesson, made into a kind of game. You will be seeing things first hand, non of them are dangerous, just tricky. If you don't wanna go in, you won't earn much points for your house and this is a considered a test." he explained, looking at the pyramid. He wasn't gonna put up with stubborn students, he really wasn't gonna grade her if she was just gonna sit there and stare.

Tianne thought that this was the best history lesson ever. She never really imagined what a pratical in history would be like, but now, she got a clear idea of it. This was so cool, how the professor did it though, Tianne had no idea. It was such a good idea, and Tianne really hpoed that she could bring it home for Ravenclaw. She needed to earn points, after all, she was a prefect and so far she had donw nothing to add to Ravenclaw's point tally, and that was embarrassing for her. She wished that she could get a sure-fire hit at it, but this was fun, and there was no way that the Ravenclaw was going to complain.
Pushing a few things away that sat in front of her, Tianne glanced over at another pile. There was a pouch, but what was it? Was it something that they needed? Looking at her list of everything that was needed to win, Tianne grabbed the powder, it was Egyptian Illusion Powder, and the young girl had found her first thing. "Yes!" The girl sounded, pushing it into her box. Now, where else to look? Tianne knew that there wasnt going to be any artefacts where she had just found the powder, she didn;t think that this 'scavenger hunt' was going to be easy.

"Won't earn many points," Abby grumbled under her breath so no one would hear her correcting the professor's grammar. That was really one of her pet peeves and she wished she could say something out loud. She probably should have though, considering the professor was accusing her of refusing to participate when that wasn't what she was doing at all. Forgive her for not being excited about diving head-first into something that looked as dodgy as the pyramid. However, with a defiant glare, Abby stood and followed her classmates into the pyramid, not bothering to glance back at the professor.
"Tosser," Abby growled once she was safely inside and out of earshot. She began her search around the place, her eyes scanning her notebook for what she was going to need to find.

She knew she was late. She cursed at herself inwardly. She was never late. Tallulah wasn't one to be late for anything. She fixed her hair as she ran, making sure everything was in place. Once the class was in view she slowed down, trying to slow her breathing. She walked up slowly, taking her time. She stood near the door, peeking in. There were some people in there. Not many. Maybe she wasn't late after all. With a smile that would kill she walked in, looking around. She walked over to who she supposed to be the professor.
"Sir. I'm sorry I am late. I got lost getting here. It's my first day," She said, still glancing around at the people in her class. Then her eyes caught the pyramid. She was glued to it. She had no idea what it was and why it was here but she liked it. Her attention went back to the professor, as to not be rude when he replied to her.

Xander watched the Gryffindor with narrowed eyes, Gryffindors were now his least favorable house, maybe save by their lower years. "arrogance is not gonna help them here" he muttered, looking at the pyramid. "The Slytherins seemed like they're replacing the Gryffindors" he added. He wasn't one to judge, but when he was annoyed and alone he would do it. his students, mainly the Gryffindor 5th to 7th years, were getting to his last nerve.
Xander picked up the books that Tianne had left and placed then on his desk, then he took out a blank journal and got an ink bottle and quill. He opened the journal and dipped the quill on the ink before putting the title 'Life as a Professor and Changes at Hogwarts.' Xander looked at his title and then went to another page and started writing. 'This is something I can keep other than memories' he thought, writing still. He only looked up when a student came in late, he smiled at her. "That is understandable, now let me explain what that pyramid is for. As you can see your classmates aren't here, they are all inside the pyramid. I'm testing them in their knowledge of Egyptian history, since you are new here... I'll tell you this, look in the scrolls scattered around the pyramids before you go handling the artifacts. Now, I'm only telling this to you because your new here and you haven't been on my first class." he explained, then he conjured a green box and gave it to her. "Put your artifacts there and the list of what you need to find and learn about is there on the board" he added, pointing at the board and then looking back at the girl, smiling.

Tianne was really enjoying this history lesson. She was gald that they were able to ahev a practical, in a lesson that Tianne had basically thought was purely theory. She had a lot of respect for Professor Griffiths, mainly because not many of her other teachers would even try something like this. She thought that it was nice of him to give them this kind of lesson. Tianne found it exciting, and she really wanted to be a part of it. She wanted to win, to get extra points for Ravenclaw, but she didn't want to seem like a show off. A few of the other students were just mucking around, some of them weren't trying at all.
Smiling still, Tianne ran around desperately trying to find something that was on her list. She coming across a place where there seemed to fresh dirt, Tianne knelt down, getting her robes completely filthy, and dug her hands into the grounds. Fairly quickly after she did this, Tianne set her hands a scepter. Figuring that the other one would have to be close, she dug around within about 3 metres of the thing, before setting her hands on another set of scepters. "Okay..." She said to herself, throwing each in her box and pulling out her list.
"I just have to find a golden Tome, a miniature sculpture of the egyptian sphinx, the robe of an egyptian magician, replica's of the eye of Rah, torture cup, and the time pyramid."
Wandering further in, Tianne came across a cabinet, that she thought looked ancient. Digging through the the piles of things that sat on top of it, Tianne felt a sharp jolt go up her arm. "Ouch!" She exclaimed, pulling her hand back and wincing. Figuring that this must be a curse on the artefact, she pushed away aeverything except the thing that had electrocuted her. The replica's of the eye of Rah. Wrapping her hand in her robe, Tianne grinned, picking up the 5th thing that they were to find. She felt a slight jolt, but knew that she couldn't let go of it again. Dropping it into her box, she smiled, knowing that she was probably in front of anyone else.

Matty continued to search through the glass cabinet, holding up her wand to shine light on the objects. her fierce green eyes frowned as she stared at the Egyptian hieroglyphics on the wall besides the objects. Most of the picture were surrounding an engraving of a small pyramid. Matty continued to glance over them, as some of the human pictures seemed to be facing to the left of the wall. She followed the signs, and eventually came to a chest perched on the top of a stone ledge. It was only a bit bigger than he own chest, and Matty assumed that there had to be something inside. The Hufflepuff looked around on the floor, and there was clay jar filled with keys. The girl picked it up, before dumping the contents out on a clear part of the ledge, finding about 6 or 7 keys within. Big ones, small ones, off ones, new ones. But they were all different.
The girl picked out a couple of the older ones, and examined them. She then realized that they had to fit the lock on the chest. Matty tried an odd square-like one, but it didn't fit. She then sorted them into sharp and round piles, as the lock seemed to only fit a small round key. Matty tried the remaining three keys, and on the last try, it worked. The chest clicked open, and the Hufflepuff opened the top. Inside, she found dark powder filled to the brim of the chest. Now, she wasn't stupid, and wasn't willing to stick her hand in without checking what was actually in there. The girl pulled her wand out, and dipped it in, swirling around to find something. Eventually, the felt her wand tip click against something. Now, the girl put her hands in, and grasped the metal object, pulling it out to reveal a small golden pyramid. Matty practically jumped for joy, while grinning. She knelt down to the floor where her chest was, before opening the pyramid. Inside, coincidently, was a small ouch of illusion power. The velvet bag seemed to be beginning to become transparent, and she guessed that if it hadn't been found soon, it would have evaporated. Placing both the items into her chest separately, Matty excited the room, walking along a dim passage, and entering a room filled with more hieroglyphics.
Inside, there were more larger pictures, but they were not as easily recognized as the last. This room as brightly lit, but contained nothing more than stone floors, carved walls, lamps, and a few piles of odd shaped rocks in each corner. Matty put down her chest, before spinning around on the spot, taking in the tiny pictures on the walls. They all seemed to pint in different directions, many switching from left to right, up to down, and some stopped in direction completely. The girl knew that the Egyptians loved to keep things balanced, neat, and aesthetic, thats what lead her to the pyramid previously. But these were allot more difficult. After a few solid minutes, the girl ventured to one of the corners, inspecting the rocks. To her surprise, Matty stumbled upon a few stray rune stones. She went to the other corners, and collected similar stones, some broken, others whole.
Matty had taken runes as an elective, so she recognized a couple of the symbols on each of the 8 stones. It was only now that Matty recognized a tiny, literally, tiny picture of one of the runes on the wall to her right. She watched as it turned the picture as the pictures continued, spinning it so that it stopped in a certain position. The girl glanced around looking for any similar pictures, and she briefly spotted a couple. After a while, Matty realized that she needed to somehow attach, place or put the runes in their appropriate places. The Hufflepuff threw aside the broken runes, making her task slightly easier, as there was only 4 left now. Matty scanned the first wall, watching how the rune must turn in order for it be correct. Eventually she found a small gap in the wall, where it must be slotted into. She did so, and a small smack of light bounced from the rune, landing in the center of the room, remaining to glow. She did the same for the next three walls, having to concentrate on two of the runes, as they were very similar. On the last wall, the teenager even had to use her wand to levitate the rune and slot it into place, to the height of the wall.
Each time the rune was put into place in ti's appropriate manor, a small beam of light would gather in the center of the room. By her last rune, it was shinning white and bright, something almost visible inside. As the final beam joined the others, the spot glowed wider, and brighter. Matty shielded her eyes, before hearing a small pop. In the center of the room, on the stone floor, laid A miniature sculpture of the Egyptian sphinx, it's eyes blazing gold. Matty picked it up at once, and stashed it into her chest. She then crossed off the three found items on her list, before walking out the the room. Three down, Six to go.
1. A golden Tome 2. 2 scepters each 3. A miniature sculpture of the Egyptian sphinx 4. The robe of an Egyptian magician 5. Replica's of the eye of Rah, torture cup, and the time pyramid. 6. A pouch of Egyptian illusion powder.
