{going to god-mod a little here... forgive me Ivy}
Drew wasn't about to tell Mike anything about his cologne, even if he hadn't heard it for himself and even if Drew did agree.
He turned to look at Ash again, wondering what Tristan had to do with anything, and ended up banging his head on the overhead light, causing it to sway irratically. By the time he had reached up to steady it, Ivy had passed out again. She was bleeding a bit, but with the pressure he was now applying, it had stopped pretty much and Drew was pretty confident she wasn't going to die.
"Who's Ye Ye?" Drew asked Ash, rubbing the sore spot on his own head with his free hand.

Ash looked up to Drew from her deep thinking, " Her-- I mean, our Grandfather." She said and bit the side of her lip. Wouldn't a normal person be breaking down in tears at the moment? Why wasn't she crying? Ash's eyebrows furrowed as she set her eyes on her fingers. She hardly felt sad, just confused and guilty. What would her father say? What would Ivy say? Would she just have to put up a face when Ivy woke up? Pretend that she was sad and try to cry fake tears? She didn't know what to think nore say. The news was given to her in just a few words.

Mike hadn't been paying much attention till now when Ivy had told Drew to tell Ash about their grandfather passing.
"It's true Ash, she got the letter the night of the Halloween Ball, I'm sorry Ash I really am"
He said in a soft caring tone, not wanting to cause any trouble with the girl and really wanted to patch up the harm that had come between them, for Ivy, all they needed to do was to have Ash sit down with her and just talk things out.
But right now it just wasnt suitable

(no worries Drew, that hardly counts as godmoding)
For now, Ivy looked peaceful and beautiful lying there on the bed... if only there wasn't so much blood. She looked like she was sleeping, and thankfully for Drew she was in stable condition. She was always okay, but the bleeding for the most part had stopped. All there was to do was wait.
In her unconscious, Ivy was imagining herself skipping rocks at the lake with her Grandfather. They didn't speak to each other, nor did they share eye contact. It was the sort of thing that they usually did. They felt comfortable not saying anything and just enjoying each other's company. In this large and lonely world, it was rare to find someone like that, wasn't it?
But Ivy was okay.

"My grandfather died about this time last year," Drew told her with a small sympathetic smile. The way Ash spoke, he could tell she hadn't been very close to the man, so there wasn't much else he could say.

Ash took in Mike's words of comfort almost forgetting her hate for him. She looked up at Drew when he mentioned his Grandfather dieing. Her breath shortened a little, as she looked to her feet. Her situation was completely different from his so she couldn't say that she understood. " Um... did you cry?" she asked, her blank eyes watching the floor. It seemed like a stupid question but Ash felt the need to ask.

"No... I don't think so... maybe a little... I don't really remember," Drew answered softly. Mostly he remembered his mom and his sister crying while he tried to hide from Nana.
That, and the yelling when he had crashed Papi's go-cart into the kitchen during the funeral reception.

She nodded. Maybe this was why Mom forgot to owl me about Winter Break and my birthday...
Am I expected to go to the funeral?...
She took a breath. What would she do if she was invited to the funeral? But Ash was jumping ahead of herself again, she didn't know for sure about anything yet. She looked up and set her eyes on Ivy. It must be hard for her... Ash wondered if Ivy had ever really cared about anyone but herself but was positive that no matter how self centered she seemed to be there was a little heart somewhere deep in there.

Chris had been unaware that anyone at all was in the hospital wing. He had actually just been in his quarters going through a few papers and writing a letter to his daughter when he decided to bring his work back to the office in case of an emergency. When he walked in to see a small crowd gathering, Chris was a little suprised that not one of them thought to send an owl or something to say that his assistance was needed. Or Selena. Heck, even Kellen. Someone, at least.
He set his things down on a table nearby and asked, " What happened? "

Through out this whole time no one had thought to send an owl or something because students usually expect the Hospital Wing staff to check the Hospital Wing. I mean, that's why they're there, right?
The guy who came in was unknown to Drew... surprising really since he spent enough time in the Nurse's office. As with any starnge person, Drew wasn't about to give out any information unless he knew it was okay, so he answered the man's question with another question. "Who are you?" he asked, narrowing his eyes suspiciously.

Selena entered the door, back from the greenhouses with some more plants so she could work on making some more potions. She would use potions brewed by others, but she often felt more safe brewing them herself. "Sorry I didn't expect it to take me -" she stopped short at the site of how many people there were now in the room. There definately weren't this many people when she had left. "So long." She finished quietly. She immeadiately was at Ivy's side. "I'll take it from here Drew." She said, adding her hands to keep pressure on the wound too, not quite looking at it yet. "What's her name?" She needed to know this to see the file to see if she was allergic to anything. She had assessed that Ivy's injury was the most ciritical. Drew could wait.
