Well, this situation could be good, or it could be bad. Arianna knew how delicate her monthly potion was (one of those she needed for 'that time of month'), but she didn't know just how so until now. One little tear of laughter mixed in with the asphodel and the whole potion became something entirely different. Instead of a liquid, it had become powder, and instead of relieving certain...problems and putting the girl to sleep, it had caused something more enticing. For Arianna, anyway. The girl hadn't meant for it to happen, of course. But, as many of these things usually occur, had done so on accident.
After placing that last ingredient in the cauldron, Arianna immediately knew something wasn't right. There had been a poof of smoke and a tickling in her nose once the asphodel hit the potion. As she leaned over to figure out what was going on, Arianna found that the whole potion had become a glittery powder. She groaned to herself, knowing she would now have to borrow a few ingredients from Drew, and had been about to chuck the whole thing away when the tickling intensified. The girl then sneezed, sending the powder everywhere, most of it settling on her skin and then disappearing. Arianna was now worried what sort of affect this could have on her. Messed up potions could be quite messy. She didn't worry for long, though.
Giggling to herself, Arianna now gazed down at the floor below. Far below, that is. For now she was floating; flying above the History of Magic classroom. She had inadvertently discovered pixie dust! It was grand for someone who had always wished she could fly. Her only problem now, though, was getting back down.

Okay so Krissy's original plan had been to sneak inside and find out what was behind the black curtain and then move it all into different parts of the castle. she would love to see the head of house have a fit about that. However upon entering the History of Magic classroom a very strange site came to her eyes. There was a cauldron sitting in the middle of the room and dust surrounding the cauldron. Krissy didn't even think of looking up. Instead Krissy edged towards the cauldron.
Was this what she needed to get the ugly crazy man fired from being Hufflepuff head of house. There was something suspiscious about him and she knew it. She just had to find out what. Krissy edged closer to the cauldron. What was this stuff? Hopefully it was something highly illegal. That way Krissy could get him in lots of trouble. Brewing illegal potions on school grounds. Oh that would get him in such trouble. Krissy grinned as she got closer. She wasn't sure what this potion was. But there was dust everywhere. Krissy leaned over to look in the cauldron. What? No potion? Only more... dust? Krissy was very confused.

Arianna hadn't expected anyone else to sneak into the room today. It was the weekend. Why would anyone go to class on the weekend? Well, besides someone needed a place to brew her potion. Arianna had done it in here because she thought the HoM teacher would be one of the few to understand why she needed the potion should he happen upon her. She definitely did not expect to see a student enter. Especially when that student turned out to be Krissy.
Giggling to herself, Arianna did a few mid-air flips then flew down so she was behind Krissy. Grinning widely, she tapped the head girl on the shoulder, then flew herself back up to the ceiling. Ah, this could be so much fun. Arianna was already pondering the things she could do with her pixie dust.

Jack was not your average Ravenclaw. Everyone knew that, so why hide it any longer. Yes, she still studied and recieved the grades, but she couldn't be all goody-two-shoes. It just wasn't in her nature. And to prove that, she had come up with an idea to pull a prank on her favorite teacher. It was something no one would expect of her. Why would she pull a prank on this teacher and not any of the others...such as her Muggle Studies professor?
Jack wasn't foolish. After all, why do something on someone, if you know they won't get just as much of a kick out of it as you would? Sneaking into the room backwards she didn't notice either girl in the room. Closing the door quietly, that's when she sensed something from behind her. Busted! I was so close! she thought to herself not even thinking of how weird it would actually be to find Professor Atwood in the classroom on the weekend. Then again...that'd probably be exactly where he'd be.
Turning around, however, it wasn't Professor Atwood she found. Instead a familiar figure was standing over a culdron covered in powder. At that moment, Jack wondered...what's worse? Finding the Professor in his Classroom that you're about to prank...or the Head Girl in the classroom of the Professor that your about to prank? Stunned Jack didn't move anything except for her hand, trying to get the door knob to open before she was noticed being in the room.

Well the tap on the shoulder did two things. One of which was probably what Ari was hoping for. It made Krissy turn around. But the second thing it did was make it so Krissy saw the other person who was now standing in the door. The shock of seeing a new person who hadn't been there moment's before made Krissy jump backwards. Right into the cauldron. Krissy collided with the cauldron and sent pixie dust flying everywhere. Or more, all over herself. The cauldron made a loud bang as it hit the ground. But that wasn't what had Krissy's attention now. The dust had landed on her skin and started to disappear and then suddenly she began to float. Krissy's eyes went wide as her feet lifted up off the ground.
Then they foccused on the only person in the room. "What are you doing?" she demanded of Jack. Maybe she was levitating Krissy or something. This could all just be some cruel joke. What was that illegal substance she had gotten everywhere. Krissy did not have a clue what was going on. And how had that girl tapped her from all the way over there?

"I...I...I...I didn't do it!" Jack exclaimed as her eyes grew even wider in shock and horror as the older Hufflepuff was now floating in the air after hitting a culdron filled with...dust? Someone must have already beaten Jack to the punch of pranking Atwood. Either that, or Atwood was expecting company all along and the Head Girl had fallen right into his trap.
"He's bloody brillant!" Jack said as she moved to where the older girl was floating only to notice her an older, familiar Ravenclaw also floating in the air! "Capt'n!" Jack called up to Ari whom was floating higher toward the ceiling. Jack only knew Ari from the Quidditch team, so rarely ever used her name. She found it more fun, and Ari did call her Jackie, so in a way Jack found it a fair trade off. Plus, it wasn't as if she was disrespecting her any.
Curious Jack went to touch the dust, and then hesitated. "What's going on?" She asked alloud.

Arianna made movements with her hands and lips to keep Jackie quiet. It clearly failed, tough, when the girl had called out to her. Arianna hung her head and sighed. She could have gone on teasing Krissy a bit longer, even with the head girl now floating below her.
"Pixie Dust!" she called out in answer to the younger girl's question. Arianna held her hands out in front of her then and flew to the other side of the room with ease. She couldn't believe how much control she had over this flying business. It was as though she were meant for it. Either that, or the potion was just that good.
"I messed up my potion," Arianna explained, doing a few more flips before turning and grinning at Krissy and Jackie.

Jack laughed as she watched Ari do flips in the air. No wonder she was the captain of the Quidditch team. Flying was a piece of cake for her, even without a broom. "I thought you guys had fallen into a trap Professor Atwood had set up for wannabe pranksters," Jack said without even thinking. However, a guilty expression crossed her face for a quick second after saying it. Like she really needed others knowing why she was really in the classroom.
"So, what happens if it wears off and your in the air?" Jack said already knowing the obvious answer. The both of them would probably come crashing to the ground. Jack didn't even want to think about the fact that she was under where they were flying.

Krissy oculd see she had fully scared the young kid. Wait, hwy did the kid just call her captain? Krissy didn't have too long to ponder over that fact as another voice came from somewhere above and behind her. Krissy suddenly twisted to look up and had she not been floating it would have been alot mroe obvioius that she jumped, again. Ari was there. Why was Ari above her? Why were they both floating? That question too was answered pretty quickly. Pixie dust? Now why hadn't she discovered how to make this before now?
Krissy was still quite very confused but she couldn't help commenting uopn hearing Jack's mention of Professor Atwood. "Atwood's tooo stupid to hitnk up anything that smart" Krissy said with a roll of her eyes. She really had absolutely no confidence in Atwood or his intelligence. Afterall, he couldn't even tell her where Pat was and why he hadn't shown up to Hogwarts this year. What use was he. Krissy roller her eyes again, moving her mind away from Pat and back to her confusion.
It was slowly all making itself clear in her head. Ari must have tapped her on the shoulder, the other girl must have also just someone randomly incidentely been coming in here. Well she was in the air now. "My names Krissy" Krissy called down to the random child who she didn't know. It was likely that the kid already knew her. Afterall, everyone seemed to know she was head girl now. Krissy still had a semi confused look on her face at this moment though.

Ouch! Jack was shocked at the Hufflepuff for talking about her head of house like that, not to mention Professor Atwood. Sure, he wasn't the smartest man Jack had ever met, that was her father, but Atwood wasn't really all that brainless either....was he? "I don't know, I like him. He's nice," Jack started, but she noticed the Head Girl was preoccupied with the Captain and why everything was happening the way it was.
Looking back up at the two girls when the Head Girl introduced herself Jack smiled and nodded. "I'm Jack," she said proudly. She stuck her chest out somewhat cockily and if she had been in her uniform, someone might have mistaken her at that moment for a peacock trying to swoo a mate. But Jack wasn't much interested in anyone in the room at that time, she was more interested in the dust that was still everywhere. She looked back at it and smile wondering if anyone would notice if she took some. She had a small potion in her pocket that she was going to use to make Atwood's chair cardboard, but she figured once the bottle was empty she could put some of the dust into it for later. She was sure it'd make a great conversation started with the guys.
She quietly walked around the culdron of dust, trying her best to look as if she was examining everything. All she had to do was get to the chair, dump the potion, and then fill her bottle....how hard was that really going to be?

"I guess I fall," Arianna replied to Jackie's question about the potion wearing off. She wasn't sure how else to get down anyway. If she got hurt, well...that was okay, too. It wasn't that far to the floor anyway. Arianna was sure she would be fine. But it got her thinking about the tests she should do about this.
"You want to join us?" Arianna asked the younger girl, flying down beside her. She glanced back at Krissy with a grin on her face. "Or is there some other reason why you're here? We can help, you know..."

As Ari flew next to Jack and asked if she wanted to join, she slowly stopped. Help? Jack wondered about that. It seemed as if Krissy wasn't really to fond of Atwood, so maybe she wouldn't tell anyone about her prank...but at the same time, she was the Head Girl and it was her job. And when it came to Ari, she was the captain of her Quidditch team, that she had finally made it on. It wouldn't be smart to let them in on her original plan, not yet any ways.
"Uh...no...I'm not here for really any other reason. I just heard something from out in the hall and decided to check it out." Her lie was almost see through so she quickly concluded with, "Sure! I want to fly, too!" Wow, Jack...that was good, she scolded herself.

Krissy rolled her eyes. Little kids were never very good at covering when they were up to something. She remembered a couple times when she herself had caused some really abd trouble and then tried to claism she was looking for her backpack, which happened to be on her back. Krissy and Ari were prankers from way back. Between them they had caused soo much trouble. Right from when they first met. If this little kid was looking for someone to help them prank Atwood, Krissay and Ari would be the ones, especially with Krissy's distaste for Atwood.
Krissy swooped down to the cauldron, deciding this flying thing wasn't too have and she grabbed a handful of pixie dust. Swooping back in the air as Jack said she wanted to fly too Krissy threw the handful ot pixie dust at her. Krissy investigated her hand and the remaining dust upon it before the rest of it disappeared. "Do you recon if we put it just on our arms we could still fly?" Krissy would have to take a good supply of this back to Huffle and expieriment with it.

"Woah!" Jack said as her body started to float without her being ready. It was definately a lot different than flying on a broom and at first she wasn't as skilled as the older girls must have been. She flopped a bit and tried to swim through the air, only to be stuck spinning in circles, giggling.
Unfortunately, what she didn't realize was that her potion bottle was sticking out of her pocket just enough. It started to fall even before Jack saw the tiny glass bottle about to hit the ground. "Oh, no!" Jack called out as she tried to float to grab the bottle with absolutely no luck.

"Hmmm....It might work," Arianna replied to Krissy's question. That would have to be something she would have to test, along with seeing how long it would last before wearing off. Perhaps these two could help her with that...
Pondering what all she could do with her latest invention, Arianna was momentarily distracted when she saw something slip out of Jackie's pocket. She actually smiled at the reaction from the younger girl. So she had been planning to do something. Well, Arianna would have to show her how it was done.
Swooping deftly toward the ground, Arianna caught the small bottle before it could hit the floor then flew back up to the ceiling, where she stopped to look over the contents.
"I've never seen this stuff before. Where did you get it?"
