This was an adventure, the first in a long time, and it was still unwanted. While Sammy had taken to hibernation, Felicity managed to wake him, and wake him did she ever. As soon as he moved, she felt it was going to end badly. At first it was fine, he picked up his brown head and looked around with his brown eyes. It was adorable and made the blonde wish she had a camera on her.
So things weren't too bad, at least until the after the next bit. He looked around in a daze, as though he didn't know where he was...and then suddenly, out of nowhere, he launched himself at the Gryffindor, bit her hand and then took off. Of course, Felicity followed in hot pursuit, calling out to everyone to make sure the portrait portal didn't open, but then in came some boy she didn't know and out went Sammy, soon after Felicity followed.
The bushy tail disappeared around a corner, and she followed. All the way down to the first floor, the brown-eyed girl followed. There was no way she was letting him get away from her, not when she wasn't even that comfortable around the castle herself, especially when she didn't have her wand. There just hadn't been time to grab it.
Coming out of one of the secret passageways Sammy knew and she didn't, she stumbled trying to catch her footing, only to land flat on her face in front of a large portrait of a woman dressed in a pale yellow dress.
"Sammy!" Felicity called out, watching as he disappeared around another corner. This wasn't good, not when she was alone and without her wand. So many had tried to convince her she was fine, but she didn't believe them fully.
Sitting herself up, she sat back against the corridor wall, trying to ignore the throbbing feeling in her hadn from the bite.

Seanna had been on her way to the Hufflepuff common room, after just being let out of History of Magic. Even though the class was taught by her HOH and at most times he made it fun just by the array of hats on his head, all Seanna could think of was having a nap before hitting the pile of homework she had. The sixth year couldn't quite believe that she did have so much homework to do, seeing as how it was the first day back and all. The Professors were evil, Seanna was sure they were.
Stepping off the steps and into the corridor, Seanna watched in fascination as a squirrel came running past her. It reminded of her the poor squirrel Drew had stunned that time when he thought it was evil. 'Course, that had been right after she had told Mike that it was over as well. That had been a long afternoon for the Hufflepuff girl.
Thinking nothing of the squirrel being in the castle, because after all, she did have a Duck and Krissy had a Pig, so she was quite used to seeing different animals around in the castle, Seanna continued down the corridor to the common room, hoping no one had stole her spot in front of the fireplace. That was then she heard a girl's voice call out 'Sammy!' and she jumped just a little at the voice, before she composed herself and looked around for the source of the voice.
Looking around the corridor, Seanna finally spotted Felicity sitting up against a wall, over near a portrait that looked vaguely liked the founder of Hufflepuff. The Hufflepuff in the corridor hadn't seen or spoken to Felicity in a long time, but she had heard the rumors flying around the school and Seanna being Seanna didn't buy into rumors. Especially when it was hard to think that Celina would do something like that and Seanna still wasn't too sure what had exactly happened... seeing as how she didn't listen much to gossip.
"Felicity?" Seanna said quietly, as she walked up to the gryffindor girl. "Was that you calling out for a Sammy?" Seanna asked, wondering if that Squirrel was Sammy or wondering if Sammy was just a new student at the school that Seanna didn't know. Letting her backpack drop to the floor, Seanna herself sat down on the floor, giving the other girl in front of her a friendly smile.

Startled at the sound of her name, Felicity looked up in the direction with wide eyes of where her name was called from. Hearing a voice made her rethink even leaving the Gryffindor Tower, not when she didn't have her wand, and definitely not when she didn't have plans to meet up with someone. No one actually knew where she was at that moment, not a single person. What if something happened? It was the same thing her parents were worried about with her. If she was out on her own, who would know if something happened to her? Who would know if she was all right or not? Not a single person. This was the exact reason why her parents didn't let her go out alone, why they required her to take someone with her at all times, and preferably an older person. She couldn't defend herself, and though her chances were better without a wand, she wasn't too sure they were much better.
When she heard the voice again, it sounded familiar, somewhat. And when Felicity took a moment to clear her mind to actually allow the words to replay again, she realized how ridiculous she was being. She was still at Hogwarts, and while things had proven to not always be safe, she couldn't see something bad happening so soon after so many other bad things that happened. It just wouldn't be right if that was the case.
Indeed, the voice was familiar, as was the face, but what was her name? Shauna? It just didn't sound right. Not bothering to find a composure for herself, she watched the girl for a moment. The smile was so friendly, better than a few looks she'd spotted on faces since what happened. They weren't unfriendly, at least not towards her, but the faces were usually of sympathy before the whispers started about what happened. Depedning on if she heard the context and what it was, she would either yell at those talking or she would do something else. Normally though, what she heard, was what people had to say about Celina, and that didn't sit well with the lioness, no matter what. Celina and she weren't speaking, but that didn't mean Felicity couldn't wonder what happened and wonder if they were still friends or not.
"Sammy? Uhh...ye--yes. Sammy," she started. All she needed was for someone to try to tell her she couldn't keep the squirrel. Of course, she all ready had a plan for that, how could she stop an animal from finding comfort wherever she was? And then she remembered this girl had Percy. Why could she remember the duck's name, but not hers? "He's my pet. I was just trying to catch him, and he got away from me."
It was a simple explanation of the truth, though she hid her hand in the folds of her robe. The little bit of blood was nothing to be concerned over, she could clean it later, after she got ahold of the little fiend.

Now knowing that it had been Felicity's voice that called out for Sammy, Seanna felt a little silly for jumping just before when it had been just Felicity's voice and nothing that would harm her. Then again, any loud noise or voice could set the Huffle off these days. It was the reason why she kept to the safety of the Huffle common room lately, at least there she knew where the loud noises were coming from.
"I just saw a squirrel run past me down the corridor, just before. Would that have been Sammy?" Seanna asked Felicity, feeling kind of bad for not trying to stop the the squirrel in it's track. The Huffle knew how hard it was trying to chase an animal through the castle, she had to unfortunately try and chase Percy through the castle once. What made it worse, was that Percy found the secret passageways and hid in the walls.
"Maybe I could help you catch him?" Seanna suggested to Felicity. The girl could probably go without having a nap for a little awhile and help Felicity catch Sammy, the gryffindor looked like she could do with some help and Seanna did know some of the secret passageways and they could probably cover more ground between the two of them to try and catch Sammy. There was also the "Accio" spell that they could try, but Seanna really didn't think that would work, especially if Sammy was inside the walls.

The light brown eyes widened when the Hufflepuff told her she saw a squirrel only a moment before, and as most squirrels were in hibernation, it had to have been Sammy. Nodding vigorously in answer to the question, she looked at the blonde with a hint of a smile. Though she knew the girl was a Prefect, Felicity doubted she'd get in trouble for having a squirrel that technically belonged to school grounds when the Hufflepuff had a pet duck.
"You'd help?" she asked tentatively. True, Felicity had seen the girl interact with Percy, and she was very friendly with the animal. Then again, a duck didn't have teeth. Sammy didn't always bite, but he had bitten Lucas and now her too, but it wasn't like he went on rampage all the time. However, she didn't want to get the girl hurt, or anything of the sort.
"Because I'd really like that. I don't like going around the corridors alone."

Seanna nodded, giving Felicity a smile. " Sure, I'll help look for Sammy. I know how hard it is to look for an animal in the castle. Percy once ran away from me coming back down from the owlrey once and I spent most of the rest of that afternoon looking for the duck" Seanna re-told the events of that particular event to Felicity. It was right after she had met Alexander too, so she was also covered in feathers and other unmentionables.
"To make matters worse, I had to look for him covered in owl feather's" Seanna finished off, making a face at Felicity. Back then, the duck annoyed Seanna a great deal, but these days he was less annoying and Seanna was grateful that he had been still there in the common room after the Deva takeover.
Seanna knew how Felicity felt when she mentioned that she didn't like going around the corridors alone. The Huffle barely left the common room these days and only came out when it was absolutely necessary. The girl avoided the great hall the most, preferring instead to eat something in the kitchens. It was a good thing that the House elf's didn't mind making something for the Huffle. "Yeah, the corridor's can be spooky if you don't know you're way around them... even more so after... well, after everything that happened" Seanna finished in the end. It was going to be a long time before the Huffle could forget that the Deva and Robert Shaw made their presence felt known in the castle.

It was understandable of the amount of time the Hufflepuff would've had to take in order to search for Percy. There were times before break that Felicity had to go all out the majority of the day to find the overly-hyper squirrel of hers. While she loved him ever so much, he was such a nuisance, but she was glad Lucas had caught him for her. What was amazing about it was the fact of how long she'd searched in order to catch the furry fiend only to have a boy who hadn't seen him before nab him, and without magic, just like she wanted.
A bit of laughter left her and she quickly tried to cover her mouth to hold it in, but it didn't work. The thought of seeing the girl covered in feathers while searching for a magical duck was almost too much for her. Percy was such an adorable animal, and she liked him a lot. It did sadden her though that she could remember the ducks name, even though the blonde had mentioned it, and not the owners name. What made it worse was she was even on the paper with her.
Most of the corridors the Gryffindor took were simple ones, and she knew where she was going the majority of the time. On the other hand, with everything that had happened recently, she agreed with the girl, it was spooky. Especially since Felicity knew she couldn't always have someone with her, but it made her more comfortable when she was in company of someone who was able with a wand, unlike herself. She was sure she could deal damage with accidentally setting something on fire, but it was more a matter of being the quicker drawer, and she wasn't so keen on that one.
Nodding her head in agreement, she didn't move to get up, to go after Sammy. The thoughts of what happened were replaying in her mind, and it was a matter of making them go away before daring to stand and to trust that she wouldn't collapse. However, it was easier than it had been, especially after the days she had with Alexander and Drew out in the snow.
"They are much scarier now than before," she returned. "But they're gone, so we shouldn't worry too much, right?" Though, if they got in once, they'd be like to be able to get in again.

Seanna didn't mind that Felicity laughed when she said she had chased Percy around the school covered in feathers'. In the end, Seanna herself had finished the day laughing at herself when she imagined what she looked like that day covered in feather's and some dry owl dropping's. The girl was sure that Ty and Jack had found it just as funny as well. Though, they probably thought she was mad as well because she was also talking to the duck at the same time.
The mood changed just a little slightly and Seanna grimaced. Thanks to Alexander, she had learned that she could stay strong in the event when darkness was taking over, but still, the Huffle girl still felt just the slightest lost of where she stood with the whole Deva takeover. The girl was doing all she could to get out and about more from the Huffle common room, but she still couldn't bring herself to go into the great hall. It was just too hard. Seanna guessed it would be even harder for Felicity, she had seen a little of what happened that night.
"No... we shouldn't worry too much. If we worried constantly all the time if they... if anything was going to happen in the corridors or anywhere, we wouldn't be able to go anywhere. It'd be like we're still giving in to them... " Seanna tried, all though she took her gaze away from Felicity and turned them down the near, almost empty corridor. The darkness had left it's effects behind on the Huffle girl, however. Now and again, Seanna had to remind herself that she was strong enough to pull out of it, no matter how much it was pulling her in.

The Great Hall was a major place of avoidance for the Gryffindor as well. It was a place she was likely to meet up with Celina at, and she wasn't ready to confront the girl. Classes were already more than enough for her to handle seeing the girl in, and at times to dine, she didn't like the idea of possible eyes being on her. It was the reason she ran in early and grabbed something that was set out for the early-birds before turning high tail and running off to the den.
Felicity agreed with the blonde again. It was like giving into them by giving them what they might have wanted, the fear that any of them might have of going into corners. It was a fear Felicity didn't want, and she was doing what she could to get over it. Drew was a major source of help to her, constantly finding her somewhere when she wasn't in the common room or at class. And while she didn't want him to feel the need to spend every minute he could with her, for she felt that was like controlling his time, she appreciated the fact he was willing to give her time. No, she knew he spent time with his friends too, but she loved being under his wing in a manner of speaking.
Felicity let her eyes wander in the direction the Huffle looked, and it really did look lonesome, but there was that feeling that things would be all right.
"Well, you think we should try to find Sammy before he gets lost?" she asked with a small smile. The girl was nice, and Felicity liked her, if only she could remember her name.

Seanna kept staring down the empty corridor wondering how far Sammy had actually got through the castle. "I think so" Seanna replied, returning her gaze to the gryffindor girl, offering her own smile back in return as well. "Before he goes back into the wild with all his other squirrel friends, as well." Seanna added to the girl's statement of Sammy getting lost. All they needed was one of his other furry friends to steer him off the wrong track and he'd be gone forever.
"Do you think we should start where I last saw him?" Seanna asked Felicity, thinking that that would be the most logical choice to start the chasing of the squirrel. Then again, maybe the squirrel had decided to backtrack and lose his poor owner that way. It was time to think like a little, fluffy squirrel, but Seanna had no idea what squirrel's were like. The girl was far more better at chasing ducks.

"That would be horrible," Felicity told the girl with a look of concern taking over her soft features. The Gryffindor hadn't even thought of that, the idea of Sammy running back to hibernate with the other squirrels was about ready to kill her. That would mean she would have to find him again in the spring, which was fine, but it meant another chase. And what if she didn't catch him before having to go home? Her mum and dad over break agreed to allow her to bring him home after she proved her point through historical books that children used to keep squirrels as pets in the eighteen hundreds.
Where should they start? The most logical place was where he was last seen. And if she couldn't find him on the first floor, that meant he could've gone up or down, or even through a passageway. She'd been downstairs with him before, in the dungeons and that's when she meet a Slytherin she hadn't spoken to in a very long time, but upstairs was where the newspaper office was, and he loved it there.
"Yes, I think if we started there, it'd be best. I mean, I know he's an average looking squirrel, more adorable than most, but still average-ish, but all others should be in hibernation so it wouldn't be that difficult to point him out. It's more a matter of finding him." Standing, she waited for the Hufflepuff before heading down in the direction the other girl had come from.

Seanna nodded, thinking that it would be horrible if Sammy got back to the wild with all the other wild squirrel's, especially seeing as how he was a pet, as well. It'd be devastating to lose a pet. "Well, at least we know that he won't be getting steered off the wrong track by another squirrel, if the other squirrel's are all in hibernation" Seanna stated and that was a good thing in Seanna's book, it gave them a helping hand and a added advantage if they did come across other squirrels.
Seanna stood up and brushed some of the dust of her school robes, or well, she tried to. Not that it probably mattered if she did try and brush some of the dust of her school robes, they were bound to get even dustier, now. "Yeah, I think you're right. It was right by the steps coming off the second floor I saw him run past me" Seanna added, walking behind Felicity towards the stairs that she had just came from.
"How did you manage to get a squirrel for a pet?" Seanna asked, now curious to know how the gryffindor girl had gotten a squirrel for a pet. The Huffle didn't think they sold squirrel's in pet shops... then again, she really hadn't set foot in a pet shop yet, one pet was enough for her.

If only she knew how to think like a squirrel. It was like on television, think like the animal you're in search of; well, if she knew how a squirrel thought she would gladly think like Sammy. Unfortunately, she had no idea how they thought and therefore couldn't perform such a simple task, or what should be such a simple one. Instead, she led the way down the corridor from whence the Hufflepuff came, it should be too hard to follow him. After all, he could've only gone up or down if he took stairs and if he didn't...well, there were a number of rooms they would need to check in to find him.
This was actually a story Felicity enjoyed telling, how she managed to get Sammy as a pet. "Well, Lucas Smith from Ravenclaw was the one who caught him for me, but I was chasing him for quite some time before then," the blonde explained, letting her eyes roam the hall. "Way back in September I kind of chased him up a tree, the very one he lived in, and Drew Thornton had to get me down because I got stuck. But, I was playing a chasing game with him and he finally got tired and went up the tree, so I followed him, pursuing him and whatnot. The Drew found me and helped me get down, and I chased him since." Of course, Felicity didn't realize that her words made it sound as though she'd chased Drew since then, which in a way she had. "And I was talking to Lucas one day about Sammy and he found him a week or so later and brought the bundle of joy to me."
The story was a great one in her own mind, but then again she could relive all of the chases it involved, all the time it consumed, as well as the friendships she'd acquired through Sammy. Drew, Lucas, Derek, and a few others as well. Really, some people thought she was strange for her infatuation with the furry fiend, but a duck was just as strange a pet.

Seanna was listening to Felicity's story and the way she was talking about how much she had to chase Sammy before the Ravenclaw boy, who was someone that Seanna was unfamiliar with and had only seen him in classes, had caught it for her, she was beginning to feel that they were going to have a chase on their hands. "Wow, I wonder how long it took Lucas to chase him and catch him? Maybe we should find him and get him to help us" Seanna added, wondering if they could get the boy. If the boy had caught him once before, he could catch him once again right?
Something about the way Felicity worded her last sentence had caught her ears as well and Seanna thought it was strange. Did she mean that she chased Sammy after Drew had helped her get out of the tree or did she mean that she chased Drew after Drew had helped her get out of her tree? Or maybe she meant that she chased both since Drew had helped her get out of the tree? Seanna wasn't about to question it, whichever one it was, she figured that it was Felicity's own prerogative to do so.
Seanna let her own eyes travel corridors and found they had walked up to the stairs from the ones that Seanna had made her way down from. "This is where I saw him run past me, but he turned down the corridor to the one opposite we were sitting in" Seanna informed Felicity, wondering if the little squirrel had all ready left the first floor and was making it's way to the ground floor. "You don't think that he was heading to the kitchen's, do you?" Seanna asked the gryffindor girl, wondering if Sammy felt the need to have a snack and a break from his running away.

"The funny thing is Lucas didn't have to chase Sammy at all. He found him and just grabbed him up," Felicity stated. Where it was he found the squirrel, Felicity couldn't remember, but she did know he caught him, and without magic. It was just before Halloween that he took the animal into her in the Newspaper office and asked her to go to the dance with him. Unfortunately, she had to refuse because she was going with Jax, but it didn't make the presentation of the squirrel any less exciting to the blonde.
Either way her sentence was taken, she caught both. Sammy seemed pretty content with being Felicity's pet and Drew seemed to like her well enough. And Felicity absolutely adored both dearly.
"He might go to the dungeons," Felicity answered. Because of Drew, she knew where the kitchens were and often visited, though she hadn't ever taken Sammy with her. It wasn't proper to cook while an animal was in the room, and she wasn't about to let Sammy hassle the House Elves, or them him. Therefore, she'd done well to keep Sammy out of the Kitchens, though if he'd gone alone she didn't know. "I've chased him there before, but never the Kitchens. I don't know if he'd go there. I mean, he has plenty of food in the dormitory, and I don't know why he'd go to the kitchens."
Though, it was highly possible. Felicity had seen those movies where squirrels ate crisps, so if there was any chance of crisps being in the kitchens, it really was possible.
