"Yeah, Italy. I loved it their but decided that since the opportunity had presented itself that i'd come here instead. Anyways, I was born here so jumped at the suggestion," Nicholas replied with a grin. He really did miss his home but he'd started to really like it at Hogwarts plus he'd already met an array of different types of people from all over the globe.
"Oh that's great that your mom was able to convince your dad to let you come here," he said with a smile, "So your new too interesting I haven't really met all that many people that are transfer's." Nick supposed that normally their weren't that many but considering the history behind Hogwarts he couldn't help but think that perhaps that was the very reason so many people ended up crossing the halls of the castle. He laughed at her last words, "Tell me about it. Well at least we'll get to do some exploration so next time we don't get lost," he added with amusement.

He was born here? Does he mean in Hogsmeade or Scotland? she wondered. It didn't matter of course, but she was curious, though she concluded he most likely meant that he was born in Scotland. Smiling, she couldn't help but find what he said amusing. "Most of the people I've met are transfers. I've only met two that I know have been here since their first year for sure."
Of course, that being said, both were also Ravenclaws. Another small smile covered her lips since her writer knew Nick had meant what he said the other way around as her mum had to convince her dad. "That's always fun," she agreed. "Exploring so as not to lose ones way again is a good idea. It also makes it easier to get to class on time."
Thankfully the lioness hadn't been late to a class, but there was that fear she would be. Moving staircases made it hard to get somewhere, and would make it harder if one had a time limit.

"Serious," Nick replied giving her a look of shock, "I must be meeting the wrong people then," he added with a laugh. "Everyone i've met so far has been coming here for ages. Okay maybe not ages that's an exaggeration but a few years at least." Not that he minded meeting people that had always attended Hogwarts or had for a few years he just wouldn't mind meeting more people that were no like himself, a sense of unity could be reached so to speak, an understanding shared.
"Well I wouldn't know about getting to class on time," he added wryly, "It never really has been my strong suit one way or another but that might just be because subconciously I don't really want to go to class." Don't get Nick wrong he never had ditched class but it was always a tempting prospect especially any class that took place in dead of night... astronomy. "Though I tend to jump at an idea before I actually think it all through it usually ends up fun but sometimes it doesn't exactly go my way," he said with a smile.

"I don't know about meeting the wrong or right people" she teased lightly, knowing he hadn't meant anything by what he'd said. "But really, most of the people I've met are more recent additions to Hogwarts. Of course there are some I don't know for sure whether they have been here for a while or their new, but of the one's I do know, they're new."
Knowing what Nick was talking about with being to class on time, she nodded her head. Normally she wasn't one to get where she was going on time, punctuality didn't sit well with her and never having had a watch hadn't helped with that bit either. "Surprisingly, I've been able to find my way around here most of the times to get to classes. Of course I think a lot of the reason for that is I find a crowd of familiar faces and follow them to where they're going." Once she followed a small group and they'd argued about how best to get to the class and had split off into three different ways. Not knowing what else to do, she added herself to a group and had gotten even more lost than she had been before. "Same here, but I think that's still part of the fun. Even if it doesn't go as well as one thinks, it's likely to be fun if you make light of it."
