It was going on one thirty in the morning, Astronomy was over, and Lianna was more tired than she had initially thought. The chances of her making it all the way back to the Dungeons under her own power were slim to none five minutes ago, now, they were none.
For the girl was asleep just the corner and before the stairs to the fifth floor. Curled up in a small little ball.

Violet decided the only way she could pull up her grades, were to ask the teacher for extra help. As she got to the stairs, she noticed someone sleeping. There she was, sleeping on the corner, before the stairs to the fifth floor.
"Are you ok?" Violet asked as she bent down to see who it was. Noticing the uniform, she wore a Hufflepuff colors.
"Do you need some help?" Violet asked, this time with a little more concern in her voice.

Violet's words and questions fell on dead ears, Lianna, was out cold. The only reaction the ravenclaw would get is the small girl rolling over towards the wall, still asleep.
She was simply too tired to wake up. And if she did she'd probably only make it to the fourth floor before she was out again.

Brittany walked down the hall having come from one of the towers. She had left Sora sleeping and had quietly crept out of the room so that she could take a walk. It was weird everything that had been going on. One minute she was upset because of not having her friends there anymore but the next she was fine cause she had Sora. It was all too much to think about and she needed to just get some air.
As she approached the end of a hallway she saw a ravenclaw girl that she vaguely remembered looking over something. Coming up behind her she saw the girl was looking at a tiny little girl curled up asleep on the floor. The little girl couldn't have been no more than a first year and looked so innocent.
Bending down she nudged the girl and cooed softly, "Hey sweetie you need to wake up...."

Lianna mumbled something and her eyes flickered open, unwillingly, but they opened. Opened to see the stone wall in a whole new perspective, close up.
"Where....I?" She murmured as she pulled herself to a sitting position. The tiny girl blinked her eyes in an attempt to refocus them. The last thing she remembered was Astronomy ending. How she got here was beyond her. Why she wasn't in the dungeons was also, beyond her; way beyond her.

Brittany smiled as the girl woke up. She listened hard and heard the girl as where she was. Putting a hand on her back in hopes of comforting the girl she smiled kindly. Nodding for Violet to bend down so she didn't think she was ignoring her.
"Your on the sixth floor corridor," Brittany explained softly to the girl, "You must have been tired cause I'm guessing that you stopped and just went to sleep on the floor. What house are you in?" She knew that the girl had to be a first year and she figured that she could help her back to whatever house she was in.

"Why theres any classes the late...the last thing I remember is leaving Astronomy..." She claimed as she glanced around noticing the other girl for the first time. She felt small, but more than that, she felt tired. Very tired.
When the older girl, th one that was far older than her asked her what house she was in she frowned thinking of how far she still had to go. The sixth floor only the sixth floor?!
"Hufflepuff..." She replied trying to keep her eyes open. She just wanted to sleep. She wasn't used to long nights. Not this long.

Brittany sighed thinking of where the Hufflepuff common room was. If she wasn't mistaken it was all the way down just below the main staircase under the ground floor. It was a long way down and the little girl didn't look like she had it in her to go all that way.
"Well, we have to get you there now don't we?" Brittany smiled encouragingly. She knew that she couldn't make it on her own so the girl would have to help her find it. There was no way that she was going to let the little one try to go on her own. "My name's Brittany."

The small girl could only nodd in return at the girl's obvious declaration. She couldn't retort it nor make a comeback as she normally would, not even mentally.
"Li-Lianna..." She replied weakly, managing a soft smile to go with it. She liked to meet people, but it would have been better if she wasn't so bloody tired!

"Alright Lianna. Can you walk or do you need me to carry you?" Brittany asked.
The girl looked like she was about to fall right back asleep. So she was pretty sure that she would have to carry her though she would hate to have to wake her up if she got lost on the way to the girl's common room.

Sh pondered a moment before replying, to be carried would show weakness, but, could she chance walking it? Could she chance passing out at a moment's notice.
Yes.
"I-I think so..." She finally replied as she blinked again. Did they know the way, sure they knew the way to the Dungeons, but beyond that, did they, did she, this Brittany, know the way? That was her main worry. Especially after her last run in with a Slytherin in the dark.

Brittany nodded then straightened back up. Extending her hand down to the little girl she began to wonder.
Did she say that she was coming from Astronomy? Has anyone else ever done that before? Just stopped and slept in the corridor? Poor girl, I hope she can stay awake long enough so that she can show me the way once we get down there.
Shaking all of her thoughts and questions away, she looked down at Lianna once more.

Lianna gave a small smile toward the older girl. "Thanks...f-for waking me, I suppose its better than risking getting stepped on..." She rationalized finally noticing just how bad of a spot (intentionally or not) she had decided to plop down into.
She accepted the help up somewhat cautiously, she was always this way with people, well, most people. Especially when it was dark. Like now. She had found the hard way that anything can lurk behind a kind face.

"Your welcome..." Brittany said simply, as she helped to pull the girl up.
Looking to Violet she nodded and told her, "You can come along if you wish. But were at risk at getting caught out after curfew, it might be better ifyou go back to your common room. Which ever you wish to do...."

Dark obviously meant after curfew, and it would far much easier for the tired first year to think of a reasonable excuse for herself and one other than two, but, hopefully it wouldn't come to that. How could she have forgotton about the curfew till now?
