"Well thats all settled then!" Samuel exclaimed smiling at everyone. Positively grinning, Jethro nodded to Rico and said "I hope you car gets fixed soon." also directing that comment to Summer, after all it was her car too. "No worries." Jethro then said to her. Looking up, his Grandfather then said "Well, let's get you kids out of the rain. And yes, i hope it doesn't take too long for the Mechanic to get here." he bid Rico a good day, before bustling over to the car and jumping in. Jethro walked over to the car and opened the door, before grabbing a coat and a pair of joggers off the back seats, and throwing them into the front seat.
Leaving enough time for the girl to say goodbye to Rico, Jet then stepped out of the car, and held the door open for Summer.

Summer smiled at them all. "O.k," she nodded at Jet with a bright smile.
"Call your mother and let her know what's going on so she doesn't worry," as he said this she rolled her eyes. "You know she won't worry since I'm with you, she won't care what timewe get home," she replied. "I know," he siad. "But, either way let her know," he said giving her a look. "Yeah, Yeah, I will, promise," he gave hima quick hug and whispered "Thank you," into his ear.
Then, she walked toward the car door that Jet wait at. "Be good," Rico cried to her. She waved, telling him that she knew. "Thank you, Jet," she said with a warm samll as she entered his car.

Watching is Grandpa carefully, Jethro watched as he started up the car and turned on the built in heater. As he noticed Summer, he then smiled softly and said "Not a problem." As he jumped into the car after her, not even water, he closed the door and buckled up his seatbelt.
The car trip wasn't that long, and there was a mummer of discussion as the rain pored down onto the black car and all in it. As they turned down various streets, the group approached Jethro's parents house. "Now Jethro, your mother said that she and your father would be home in about an hour, she called me before i came to pick you both up." he flashed them a smile. "They've just gone to do some shopping and will back back soon enough, and Craig is home." Jet looked from Summer to his Pa "Alright then, thanks Pa." he smiled before shaking his Grandfathers hand and opening to door to the outside wind.
"It was a pleasure meeting you Miss, i hope you enjoy your time here." he smiled before waiting for everyone to get out of the car.

Summer listened quitely as his Grandfather spoke, she couldn't help but wonder if it was going to be a problem with his parents to find a random girl with their son in their house. "Thank you sir," she smiled at him. "No, the pleasure was all mine," she replied in a sweet tone. She grabbed her purse which she had placed at the far end of the car and hopped out of the same door Jet had exited and smiled at him with a little bit of worry in her eyes. She had just meet his Grandpa and wondered if she should try and leave before his parents arrived.

Jethro waited outside the car until Summer got out. He saw the look in her eyes and said waving a small wave to his Grandfather, "Don't worry, my parents aren't very strict..." and then quickly added "and they're very understand, not vary curious either." he gave her a nod before shutting the door of his Grandfathers car. The black car slowly pulled away leaving faint tire marks on the wet road. "Lets get you inside." he said a little louder because the rain had just increased, and a small rumble of thunder could be heard in the distance.

"o.k. if you say so," she smiled at him, reassured that his parents were probably nothing like hers. There wasn't many parents out there, like hers, for that matter. She thought of this and made a note to herself that she'd try not to think about it any more. "They sound like completely different from mine," she said jokingly, to try and lighten herself up.
She nodded at him as she swiped her bangs away from her face. Summer looked up at Jet and her eyes smiled at him. "Lead the way," she said as she put her hand on his back, lightly, and pushed him slightly so he'd be in front of her.

"Trust me, they'll be fine with it." Jethro gave her another smile. "Really? Wait, inside first..." he nodded before feeling her hand on his back. Giving her a back wards smile, he took her hands and hurried through the think rain and under the shelter of his House awning. Since the boys house was a double story, it had large windows along the front, one in the upstairs bathroom, his room, his parents room and high above in the attic. Downstairs there were windows in front of the Dinning Room, Lounge room and on either side of the house's double door. It was a fancy house, but cozy all the same.
Letting go as they were both covered from the rain, he reached into his pocket, taking out a wallet with his house keys. Pushing a gold key into the lock, he shoved on the door before it swung open. Holding the door open for Summer, he waited until she was in before closing the door. "Here we are." he said smiling and placing the bags he had grabbed and his wallet on a small table aside from the door. The houses entrance hall was filled with pictures of Jethro, Craig, and both of their parents.

The rain had become rather cold, now, and Summer's teeth cattered as she let him lead her to his door. She was shacking a bit and since he took her hand she was sure he realized this, most likely that's why he decided they should go inside before they started another conversation. She totally agreed with him, they had been out in the rain for so long that they were both dripping wet.
While he was opening his door she looked at the big house from the outside, it looked rather nice. It wasn't as big as hers but it looked much more like a home rather then just a house, like hers did. She always thought of her house as big and empty.
Before she entered the house she tried to dry of her shoes on the door matt. It was rather pointless she was so drenched that no matter, her shoes were still rather wet. "Sorry, can't get any dryer," she told him with a shy smile and wrinkled her nose slightly. She didn't want to get his nice house all wet.
She took a soft step inside the house and then entered completely. "Oh, it's nicer on the inside," she smiled as she looked around her new surrondings. "I like it," she said as she looked at him but then was destracted by some thing near by. It was one of those baby pictures that everybody hates. The baby picture that everybody had of when they were taking a bath. "Look is this baby Jet?," she asked him playfully.

"Its alright, water can dry." he said smiling and locking the door again. As Jet looked around after he always did when he walked into his house, he kicked off the soaking shoes he had on, before putting them onto the cream carpet on the floor. Looking to her, he grinned and said "Thanks, its not all that much, but its home." and no matter what happened it always would be a home to the Stevens family. Pulling off his drenched hoody, he put it on the floor next to his shoes.
Then noticing that Summer was looking at something, he approached where she was and looked. To his horror, his mother had obviously found that baby picture he had hidden in the attic and put it back out on display. It was a picture of the small Jethro in an old fashioned bath playing with bubbles and a rubber ducky. The bubbles right up to his chest. "Well yes, seems my mother decided to take it out of that chest in the attic and put it back in here." Jet flashed her a grin before laying the picture down so the photo was facing its shelf top.
"Here, let me take your shoes and jacket, I'll put them in the dryer so they won't be wet once you need to go home." he then thought of something else. "Oh, on the wall in that room just there," he pointed to the kitchen in front of them "Is our phone, you call, uh, call your parents if you need to." he smiled before waiting for her to answer.

She giggled at his answer, "It's a cute baby picture, you have a rubber ducky and everything," she teased. She looked at her shoes and jacket but didn't want him to bother with putting them in the dryer. "There good," she replied with a smile. "They'll air dry by the time I go home," she said as she looked at him. "Thanks, Rico said I should but I know my mother won't be worried," she shrgged, since her mother was probably busy with her own life, too busy to worry about Summer. Plus, she knew she was with Rico and therefore safe. "I promisd Rico I would, though," she said still a little reluctant to call.

"Yes, cute." he said rolling his eyes playfully. "Fair enough." Jethro said smiling.
"Well its there if you want it, I'll be back in a sec..." he smiled before picking up his wet things and turning to his right and running up the stairs that lined up the wall. Hearing one of the middle steps squeak, he was used and happy it was still there. That very step had saved him and his brother from allot of fright. Glancing down to her, he managed to skip a step, and fall onto the very top floor. Jumping up right away, he blushed before returning to his mission. Rushing down the hall, he got to the Laundry and stuffed his shoes into a special bag, and his jacket straight into the dry and pressed it on.
Walking quickly back into the hall, he paused before rushing into his room and looking around. Picking up some dirty socks off the floor, he shoved all other clothes around into his dirty clothes basket, before making his bed and clearing his desk with a computer on it. The boys room consisted of a desk and chair in the back left hand corner next to the door. On the other side of the door was a set of drawers filled with clothes and sports equipment. His double bed was in front of the window that was visible from the front of the house.
Escaping from his room, he then started back down the stairs.

She smiled at him. "O.k. don't worry, I won't go any where," where else could she go any ways? She didn't want to just wonder about his house while he was gone. She saw as he tripped going up the stair and held back a small laugh and turned away quickly, so he would think she saw him. She waited just in the spot where he had left her, she kept looking around at the the family picture that were on display, they seemed like a loving family.
Her loose hair began to bother her and she pulled out a hair tie from her purse she pulled her hair up into a pony tail and her bangs fell out into place. If her mother was here she'd have killed her, she always said it was bad to put your hair put when it was wet.

As the boy came back down the stairs, he smiled at Summer. "Alrightly then, let me give you the not-so-grand-tour." it was lame, very lame, but hey, Jethro was very lame from time to time. He smiled before he heard the familiar squeak of the step again. His older brother, Craig was coming down the stairs. Unlike Jethro, he had curly hair that sat over his eyes. Being 16, the boy had a strong but tall body, and was currently wearing a pair of jeans and a black singlet. Looking to the two younger children, he then slowed down a bit before saying "Oh Jethro, hi." he smiled before walking up to his little brother and patting him hard on the back.
"Hello there," he said teasingly to Jet. "I'm Craig, nice to meet you..." he paused looking at the girl, his hand extended.

"O.k. I'm ready and I'm sure it will be grand," she laughed slightly It may have been slightly lame but it made her laugh. Then smiled at Jet, she could feel the drops of water dripping from her pony tail onto her back. She shock her head slightly and the pony tail went from side to side leaving little rain droplets on her skin. She too heard the faint squeek but didn't think much of it until she saw the older boy appear. In the car she had heard his Grandfather mention something about his brother being home and figured it was this boy. As she looked at the boy she could tell the family connection betweeen the two. "Hi, I'm Beverly," she smiled warmly at the boy and took his hand, shaking it gentle, his grip harder then hers.

"Nice to meet you Beverly." Craig said shaking her hand. "Well i was just checking who it was, like not a robber or anything," he shot a glance to Jethro with an uncertain look on his face. "I'll see you guys later." he smiled again at the two before making his was back up the stairs.
"Uh, we got robbed a few years back so now we hafta be extra careful." Jethro said plainly shrugging it off. "Well grand tour, let me see..." he waited a moment before showing Summer through the Dinning room to his left, the kitchen in front of them and their big open back yard. The grass had allot of water on it, and our the back there was a spare room. Walking then up the stairs, he showed her where his parents room was, then his brothers and the Laundry. After that was the largest room in the house, the rec/lounge room. After showing her is room, trying to skip it the most because of its messiness still, they headed up a fold-down ladder up into the attic. "And heres the last and my favorite room in the house..." he smiled as he let Summer go up into the well kept room.
Unlike other attics, the Stevens had their tidily kept. A large antique, green couch was in front of the window, and a small coffee tale to match it in front of the window. Along the sides of the attic was various chests and drawers of junk and precious things. As rain splattered heavily at the window Jethro climbed up the ladder.
