Rollo realized now that he was most likely coming on a bit strong with his proposal and that doing so was stupid. Rollo found that he had managed to get ahead of himself once again and was annoyed that he had allowed himself to do so. Shouldn't he be getting better at this as he talked to more people? I mean wasn't experince the best way to fix his social awkwardness because there wasn't any other way that came to mind that he could think of. Well other then his nightly habits at the Cauldron but that was only temporary and really wasn't a permanent solution. With a sigh Rollo looked up and shrugged trying to explain his way out of this one the best way that he could and for that matter knew how to. Although neither was really the best way to approach things.
"You seem like a good person and I mean you seem interested enough is all. If you ever change your mind at all let me know I suppose because I wouldn't mind at all I really have nothing to lose from it at all. What's the worse they could do fire me? If they do I'm sure I'd manage."
Rollo shrugged and attempted to neaten his piles of the books that he had knocked over. He hoped he hadn't damaged any of them at all and if he had in fact Rollo would be more then happy to buy them. A good read would most likely do him good anyway and might even keep him away from the Cauldron for a while. Running his hand through his hair he looked up now and tried to steer the conversation away from his occupation.
"So anything interesting happen often in here at all?"
It was an innocent question and at this point Rollo really didn't know what else to talk about. It wasn't as if he knew anything else about the girl so what else could he say? Rollo just hoped that he wasn't boring her or being to large of an inconvience by staying and acting as he was.
