Charlie hadn't gone to the Hogsmeade trip, which was a mystery even beyond herself, but with the recent switch that had occurred, she was just drained of anything and everything.
However, when the orders drove her maintain a lockdown in the commonroom, she was up and running, taking to gathering all of her housemates and do... well, nothing else.
Why this was called in was another mystery to her. She was actually really tired, and almost annoyed. She got into Doggerel's house documents and retrieved the roster, freely using his quill as well to make notes on who was absent or present.
"This better be everyone," Charlie said lazily. She looked at everyone, counting outloud. Though her count was interrupted by someone who decided to be a pain to her then.
(All Slytherins must report here. Threads in dorms and bathrooms are allowed, however, I want to know about them.)

Koren had gone up to Charlie with a question that she felt deserved an answer. Afterall, if I'm going to be stuck here with everyone then I should at least know why. It's only proper. "Why exactly are we on a lockdown?" Besides, Koren was sure she wasn't one of the only people there who wanted to know what was up. She looked at Charlie with her usual look. Blank, but ready to come back with a comment if need be.

"Hell if I know," Charlie responded a bit scornfully, knowing this was the first question that would be asked over and over during the period. It would be a great test to her patience and her energy. "All I know is that I gotta get you guys in here, and maybe I'll find out soon."

Daniel, much like most of the sixth years, were getting bored of those bloody Hogsmeade trips. He had been taking a very lazy nap and much deserved nap at that when mayhem hit the common room. Now deeply irritated with the noise downstairs, he allowed a groan to escape his lips as he stirred in his bed. Clambering down the dorm stairs, he looked at the crowd emerging into the common room.
Daniel allowed a grin to grace his face. Perfect. A way to cause mischief and trouble. He had been wanting to get back at Charlie and Reina in an action they never did. Baffled and perplexed with the sudden cluster of students, he dug his hands deep into his jean pockets (Merlin, had he really slept in jeans?) thinking of a way to cause harmless mayhem.

Sonja had returned from the Hogsmeade trip early after she found out that Deryn was there. The day had seemed so perfect until she showed up. She made her way back to the Common Room and had just come through the portrait, when she almost crashed into a little first year. "Watch it!" she snapped, pushing the girl out of her way. She pushed her a little harder then she had meant to, and she hoped she wouldn't fall over. The last thing she needed right now was to get yelled at.
A cloud of bitterness hovered over Sonja as she made her way to a chair in front of the fire. She watched the flames dance as always and just sat there, still steaming.

{I would really appreciate it if someone started a fire, preferably not in the fire place. Thank you. I'll be along shortly.}

Sora quietly entered the common room, looking awefully wide awake and quite calm and composed. His thoughts worked overtime in his mind as he slowly began to make his way towards his preferred choice of couch. Taking a seat, he patiently waited for something to happen. He stared at his open palms which rested on his legs as he continued to wait.

"You watch it!" Koren said under her breath, though not softly either, as she was pushed out of the way by some other girl who had entered behind her. Charlie couldn't answer her question and so Koren took her cue from her and everyone else in the room. She went and wandered over to a big easy chair by the empty fireplace. She folded her arms over her chest with a grouchy expression on her face. Guess I'm stuck here for the time being.

{I would really appreciate it if someone started a fire, preferably not in the fire place. Thank you. I'll be along shortly.} ((What?!?!?)) "D'you think it wise? To be snappin' back at me?" Sonja growled at the first year. Sonja was already in a bad mood and this little girl wasn't helping matters. She glared at her, but didn't stand up from her chair. Sonja watched the girl sit down with a grouchy expression. Sonja scoffed at her and stood up and stopped Daniel. "Hey," she said as she stood beside him, "D'you know what's going on?"

((haha, gladly!))
Sonja grew tired of waiting for Daniel to answer, so she decided to make some fun of her own. She walked casually across the room and came to a wooden chair in front of a desk. "Brilliant," she whispered, pulling out her wand. She looked around and the others seemed to be occupied, so Sonja started to "fire" things up. "Incendio!" she said, setting the chair on fire. The chair burst into flames and Sonja let out a hearty laugh. Well done she though to herself, well done.

"Keep it quiet, man! You keep throwin' off my count," Charlie hissed at the older and younger Slytherins. Their bickering was starting to give her a good headache. Starting again, she counted each head. If only she could freeze them so they could stop moving.
Just as she was starting up the count again, she saw something light up in the corner of her eye. "Thanks for turning the light o--whoa!" Charlie dropped the roster on the couch and got to the fire. "What the hell--Who the hell did this?" In the heat of the moment (no pun intended), she only dumbly asked questions.

Koren watched as the older girl said something in reply to her comment, but she didn't really know what. Nor did she care. Then she watched as the older girl moved to a wooden chair and set it on fire! Then she laughed! Laughed! That girl is completely off her rocker! Koren watched as the flames turned the chair to ashes and then moved on towards the desk. As the flames licked at the desk Koren couldn't helped but be mesmerized by the yellow and red brilliance.
When she heard Charlie's outburst she just ignored it. She only continued to look at the fire.

(Much obliged!)
It seemed that the portal to Slytherin was only so sealed. By the time the irate and harried Head of Slytherin made his way to the corridor, there was a stream of dark smoke billowing out of the cracks in the masonry. Opening it up with the entrance spell, more smoke billowed out and a few students tumbled into the hallway coughing.
"Stay put!" he ordered those who'd fled the room, before storming in with his wand out. There, under a portrait of some alumnae an office set was burning merrily. "Savages!" he bellowed, stepping back from the growing blaze. Students were just standing around gaping at it. "A woman dies and you're starting bonfires!"
He moved around the blaze and pulled students away from it. With an angry flick of his wrist, he put the fire out with a gust of wind and water. More than a few students were left dripping. Elliot tried to knead the headache from his temples. "I'm not even going to ask. Is everyone accounted for, Jones?"

Charlie didn't quite know what to do until Professor Doggerel came. She had tried to keep everyone off of the flames, but as it spread, the smoke blurred her thinking and only left her even more ticked off.
Finally as the fire was out, she coughed and rubbed at her eyes. She looked at everyone with eyes narrowed, adding, "I dunno! Somebody just went nuts and starting torchin' the place!"
