Yeah, it's getting pretty ridiculious. You always have to be careful now, especially on what you say. They take everything seriously. As people began to take advantage of the low security systems in high schools and use them to kill or hurt people, they have to crack down and have zero tolerance. A few students ruin it for everyone.

True, but come on...let's be smart about it It's like saying everyone who owns a gun is going to go out and shoot someone. We know it's not true. I agree that they have to "crack down" but zero tolerance is just stupid.

I know. I wasn't saying it was right, I'm just saying, that's the way it happens.
I agree, it's stupid, but then again, the world is practically swimming in stupid people, so the stupidity has to happen somewhere? Unfortunately, it's in our schools, because no one can trust teens anymore, or at least, that's what it seems like.

Zero Tolerance makes about as much sense as No Child Left Behind.

I find it funny when people comment on how untrustworthy and disrespectful teens are "these days." If you look back, I'm sure every generation has received the same comments. *shakes head at grown ups* If you ask me, it's the older generation's actions that encourage the younger generations' reactions. >.<

yeah, her and the rest of those dang baby-boomers.
actually, my mom and dad were pretty big dorks and didn't get into the whole "flower child" thing... but they said that they believed those that did weren't hurting anyone... so because they feel like they okayed it, they still take the blame.

I doubt they could have done anything to stop others from doing it, though, so they shouldn't blame themselves >.<

It was more of a matter of not thinking it was bad. Now they realize it was.

Everyone that comes before you, has some effect on everyone that comes. So . . . ta da?
Okay, kind of pointless. But I'm posting it anyways.

Last Kiss - Yes, terrible.
Closer - Not as bad, but still bad.
Love Actually - Love it! I think it's cute.
and 300 - AMAZING!!!
And school rules bite. I had office personnel who wouldn't let me on campus last year. Me! A goodie-two-shoes senior who would be graduating from their school come June! I almost missed out on yearbook and everything. >_<

Haha yeah I don't understand US laws I think something that would solve alot of your problems would be making it ALOT harder for you to get guns and own guns. I mean, we don't really have shootings over here (is sure someone will prolly correct her on one they know about) and we can't really get guns easily here either. Infact... I wouldn't even know where to guy a gun or ammo for one from. Don't know what this child left behind thing is either.. but I have been wondering because its mentioned in pinks song 'dear mr president' Yes.. somehow I have that song and have jheard it *isn't normally one for girly music*

But we have the right to bear arms, Krissy. They can't make it much harder. ((EDIT: I guess, technically, they can, but people wouldn't be happy with bending the Constitution)) And I'm glad of that.
No Child Left Behind is an act that was instituted under the current administration having to do mainly with the standards of accountability in the education system.

It pretty much means that standards are kind of dumbed down so that everyone can understand it and we have to take standardized tests, which are pretty retarded anyways.
Or at least that's how I always understood it.
