"I'm not going to scale the tower," Drew told her, rolling his eyes. Jeez, did she really think he hadn't learned his lesson the first time? He turned back to Jack and motioned to the pulley. "We used that to zip line the lake," he said. "It was like the shortest distance though because the rope wouldn't go that far."

"You better not," Allegra warned, trusting that he'd keep his word. Of course, just because he said he wasn't going to scale the tower didn't mean he wouldn't find something else to scale. She got distracted temporarily though, looking at all of the junk he had in his duffle bag. "Hey, I remember that!" she cried out, pointing to an odd looking piece hidden beneath the tennis racket.

Kyle grumbled some more at his new nickname, and was very determined to grow a couple of inches by the end of the year, even if he had to stretch himself longer. But his small frustrations was quickly overcame by curiousity. He watched intently at the things the boy got out from the bag.
"Scale the tower and zip line the lake?" he repeated in awe. He didn't even go that crazy when he's back home. But if he managed to pull that off and didn't get expelled, then it showed him a wide varieties of possibilities. "You mean, you did all that here?"
{sorry Kyle, but I hade to reformat your post. It was hard to read}

Drew handed the car jack over to Allegra before answering Kyle. "Yeah, but like I said, the zip line wasn't as cool as it could be because we couldn't find a long enough rope. And the tower. Ari and I almost got expelled for that."

"So if your not going to scale another one fo the towers, what are you planning on doing next?" Jack asked thinking that all of those things sounded like something fun to do. He also knew that Drew might not tell him what he was up to next, expecially with his sister right here looking over his shoulder. "Did you guys get in trouble for the zip line?" he asked. He had said that they had nearly gotten expelled for climbing the tower but hadn't mentioned what had happened with the zip line.

"He would have if he had gotten caught," Allegra answered calmly, playing with the crank mechanism on the jack. Last she had seen it, it had been in their father's car. Why Drew had it... and what Daddy would do when he found it missing... were anyone's guess.

So the danger of being expelled was still around, just lurking around the corner. Gotta play smarter, he decided. "Which tower did you pick? The Ravenclaw tower?" he asked. He wasn't planning on doing either, unless he had a pressing need. But he did intend to find out most, if not all, about the castle's secret. All those secret passageways and hiding spots, he wanted to find them all.

"Oh so the key is to not get caught." Jack said with a smile. He decided that if he was going to do anything that could possibly get him expelled or even suspended that he would think it completely through and think how best to do it so that he didn't get caught. He knew that Drew had probably thought his plans through too, but just hadn't got lucky when he was busted for climbing the tower. He also knew that there was always a chance of being caught, but that is what makes it so fun.

"The KEY is not to do anything stupid to begin with," Allegra announced, giving her brother a pointed look. She replaced the car jack and picked up a traffic cone. "Because no matter how much you might plan it out, there is still that chance you will get caught and busted."

"The KEY is to make sure you don't have a jackass for a housemate who will run and get a professor," Drew corrected. To add insult to injury, the guy had ended up being Ari's boyfriend. "And it was the North Tower. Less wind to deal with there."

"Good point," Allegra agreed, putting the cone on her head and digging through Drew's bag to see what else she could find in there. Her brother's assesment of that particular housemate had been right on the money, in her opinion.
"Hey, these are mine!" she called out, holding up her box of colored pencils. She had been missing them for two years now.

"So take 'em," Drew answered back with a shrug, knowing the chances are he'd still have them by the end of the day. Not only had he worn most of them down to nubs, he knew she had bought a replacement set soon after he had, er... borrowed them.

"Ya. I know there is always a chance that you can get caught, but that's what makes it fun." Jack said, with a smile, to Allegra who had just told him that the key was to not do anything stupid in the first place, but he didn't know how long he could take this advice and not do anything that could possibly be considered stupid.
"Good point." He said to Drew when he heard that appearently a housemate had been the one that had gotten Drew introuble and that it was key not to have one, although you really didn't have a choice who your housemates were. He decided that he would just have to keep his plans to himself or choose his accomplices carefully.

"Robert Burns was a fool," Drew mumbled mostly to himself. It was probably something that most of society would disagree with him on, but it was something he kept in mind anytime he planned anything out. If it were truly a good plan, it would cover all eventualities. If it covered all eventualities, nothing could go wrong, right?

"Who was Robert Burns?" Jack asked Drew hearing him mumble his name under his breath and call him a fool. He was curious if this was the same person that Drew had called a jackass earlier and who had been the one that had gone and gotten the professor to bust Drew or if he was another person that Drew didn't care for.
