Scott was surprised Allegra had snipped at him, he hadn't said he was willing to shave his head, though once he reflected on his words he decided it did sound that way. The joke, as Kellen had decided it was, didn't go over well with anyone. Maybe they had been too drastic with the plan, something lighter probably would have been better to have gone with. As the flower tried to slip out of the room, Scott's eyes followed her. She wasn't going to get away that easily. Scott stood and walked out of the room, not bothering to try to be invisible.

Shaking his head, Charon headed for the stairs to his dorm. He'd been completely fooled by the joke, and wasn't overly happy about that. He had to admit, though, once he knew it was a joke, it was kinda funny, even if it wasn't in the best taste.
As he passed Kellen, he said softly,"Sorry your joke didn't go over better, mate. Maybe next time you ought to pick something a little less personal to joke about." He stopped and looked at the boy for a minute. "Perhaps suggest we all go naked for a week? That might actually go over better," he added, grinning slightly. He turned back to his path and resumed his course for the stairs. A comfortable reading space he called his bed was waiting for him up there, as well as the last few pieces of chocolate that he'd managed to smuggle away from the sixth-year campout.

...What the hell just happened? was the thought that was predominantly going through Kellen's head. Okay, so their idea had bombed. It wasn't that well thought out to begin with, really. And they shouldn't have sprung it on the rest of the house like that, especially the day before the match.
He gave a half-hearted nod to Charon's suggestion, but couldn't even manage a smile. He felt like an idiot. And now Lily, his partner in crime, had gone off and left him.
He sunk down onto a couch dejectedly and slunk his head, running his hands absentmindedly through his hair. The worst part of it all was that Allegra was mad at him. And he didn't understand why. Quidditch was important, he got that. Their idea wasn't exactly the greatest, he got that, too. But it couldn't have been just that could it?
Should he go after her, and try to talk? Well, he couldn't make it up into the girls' dorm, anyway. Besides, maybe it would be a good idea to let her cool off a little, and give him time to figure out what he'd done wrong. He decided to wait in the common room a while, and to see if she'd come down.

Dante stayed calm and rather confused as the proposal/joke was announced and all the rather heated comments that followed were said.
Still standing, where had been before the head boy spoke, he looked at the few still present. What on earth had just happened? Why had everyone reacted like that to a joke or whatever it had been? Wasn't a simple no enough?
"I just don't get it..." he said to himself lost in his own thoughts.
