Who has time to just settle down in the common room these days? Beni, that's who. And that's what she did, she put some time out and sat comfortably, a book in hand, and a nice mug of butterbeer in hand.
For a while, the book caught her attention. Of course, it involved a girl coming from a boarding school and becoming a nanny tutor to find the father of the child to be quite fit. It might have looked to be a muggle book, but we all know they rip it off of the magical folk. Besides, the description caught her eye.
The promise of romance and intrigue died out, though, as she barely made it to the fourth page when she zonked out. With her position in the chair-- a sort of cross formation so she could lay out on the sides of the chair-- it made for an unpleasant way to sleep. But the butterbeer made her feel too calm and the book only proved as an inedible sedative.
So Beni wasn't a bookworm. Go figure.

Ok, it was offical. Anna was bored. Bored out of her mind if you want a better description. For some reason, there was just nothing to do today. She could go flying, if she was in the mood to do it or read, if the librarian hadn't kicked her out for practicing spells in there. Anna didn't think that it would be a good idea to agravate him again. So what was left to do? Well, maybe the answer would come to her in the common room.
Leaving the comfort of her bed, Anna trudged down the stairs with her kitty behind her hoping some stroke of brillance as what to do. Arriving in the all so glorrious common room, Anna found it pretty empty except for Beni who looked like she was put to sleep by a book. Thinking it was better not to wake her, the fourth year jumped on the sofa and sat upside down. Ok, so Anna was wierd like that sometimes, nothing wrong with that.

"Oh la la, Monsieur Carsey," Beni suddenly said under her breath, and said nothing as she sort of stirred but didn't wake. She had been talking about one of the characters in the book, and she seemed quite taken by him. Ben, eat your heart out. ( )

"Is Beni murmuring sweet nothings in her dreams again?" Alhana voiced out her question when her eyes spotted the sleeping girl move her lips even though she looked quite asleep. The fifth year stood a the top of the staircase with a pilot's strap helmet attached to her head and her kitten in her arms (also wearing a mini version of what her owner had on), looking quite content to let Alhana porter her around anywhere.
"Prepare for liftoff!" Alhana called out in an official tone before she slid down the banister at not quite full speed. Two thick feathery wings popped out behind her as she sailed to the bottom at coasting speed.
Yeah, Alhana was bored too.
(What, what? Is this a gathering of Raiders? Rock. On.)

( That why it says "Only cool kids hang out in the common room" ;D )
Anna was still in her upside down possition when a new voice rang from the stairs, after the strange comment Beni murmered. Trying to get a better look at who had just arrived, Anna reluctantly got out of her possition and gazed at the infamous Alhana Starbreeze. "Alhana? What are you-" Anna tried to ask, but it was too late. Apparently bordum was contagious in the Gryffindor house today.
As the fifth year slid down the banister, Anna couldn't help but snicker at the wings that popped out behind her. This definatly confirmed some kind of bordum thing spreading around the Gryffies. "Nice wings. Trying to find an alternative to a broom are we?"

"Eggs Benedict, yes," Beni said again, "Mulled butterbeer, too, please..." As vivid as her dreams were, she wasn't expecting to see a lioness on a plane saying "Lift off!" in her dream. "What's a ferious beast doing in an avion?" She said, drifting into languages as well.

"Or I'm just weird like that," Alhana suggested as an alternative. "Actually, it's both," the corners of her lips pulled back to reveal a wide grin as she set Mocha down with a pat to her head.
"I had goggles at one point this year, but I didn't feel like digging through my trunks to find them," she explained on her curious waltz over to their sleeping comrade.
"She's speaking rubbish. I wonder what she's dreaming about?" the Lioness plucked up the jug of liquid, sniffed it, and took a swig from the almost full container. Butterbeer. Warms you right up.
"Have a camera handy, Anna?"

Yep, it was offical. An epidemic was spreading through. Anna pretty much confirmed that when Alhana stated what she herself thought when she sat in the common room. But at least she wasn't muttering in her sleep like Beni. Did she say something about eggs? That just made her wonder even more what kind of dream she was having
"Camera? Yea, but it's in my room." Anna replied knowing where this was going. "Want me to summon it or something?"

"What else would you like with your eggs, Beni, hmm," Alhana asked the sleeping seventh year, stifling the urge to laugh through her serious tone.
"Igen, if you would, Anna. I'd like to take a few photos of our fellow companion," she answered her, turning around to face her with a wide grin and wriggling eyebrows.

Anna tried really hard to surpress a grin, but this was too funny. Nodding her head, Anna pulled out her wand and said, "Accio camera!" But she was quiet enough to make sure Beni stayed asleep. Once she finished the incantation, a familiar sound of rustling came from the fourth year door sending a camera flying out from the door and into Anna's outstreached hand.
"Here you go..." She said throwing the camera to Alhana. But what Anna was really waiting for was Beni's expresion when she finally woke up.

(mind if i join? ) Verina wasn't sure what it was about that day but from the moment she'd woken up she'd mentally and quite literally physically dragging herself around. She wasn't sure what to do with herself so she'd resigned herself to returning to the dorms and a nice warm bed and sleeping the day away. Yes, that was an extremely depressing prospect but what else was there to do. Letting out a soft sigh she entered the common room and without even registering her surroundings closed her eyes and banged the back of her head softly against the portrait. But with a slip banged it too hard, "Oww..." Verina said opening her eyes to find she was in fact not alone. "What's going on?" she asked with a slightly out of it expression upon her face before realizing Alhana's current attire, "And what are you supposed to be?"

Click. Click. Click. Alhana snapped away at the shutter furiously, a grin perfected with a hint of 'I'm up to no good' styling her face. "Kosonom, Anna," she thanked, nudging Beni's foot with her own.
The fourth year wheeled around at the sound of another, unfamiliar voice spoke. She posed as if she were a super model. "I'm a photographer," she paused to capture a magical picture of the girl, "dhaling."

Verina suddenly jumped as the girl with a snap of her camera had captured a photo of her. "That's why you have wings and a pilots hat?" Verina asked with a quizzical expression, "Well your definetly not like any photographer i've ever seen," she said with a friendly laugh and smile.
Stepping closer to Anna and the girl she noticed that another one of their fellow Gryffindor's was sounds asleep upon the couch, "You two planning on tormenting her later with these photos?" Verina asked with a smile.

Anna just stood there and watched Alhana click away with her camera, keeping her eyes on Beni to see if she would awaken. It would be interesting to see her expresion when the pictures were developed. However upon hearing a familiar voice coming from behind them, Anna spun around to see Verina walking toward them. Well...after Alhana gave her photographer pose.
"Well, I think Alhana will put them to better use then myself. Whatever that might be." she said answering her Verina's question. But that just made Anna wonder, what was Alhana going to do with pictures of the sleep talking Beni?

"Planning something?" Alhana paused in her takes as her hand flew to her heart as if she were truly offended by this question. "Why on earth would I be planning something evil and twisted like tormenting?" she asked.
She went back to snapping a pictures of Beni, getting a few nice ones with her mouth hanging open. "This, my friends, won't be used unless needed. Blackmail, I guess you could say," she said nonchalantly. Just because she was in Gryffindor didn't mean she didn't have a little bit of Slytherin in her.
Nudging Beni hard enough to wake her, Alhana readied the camera for the moment when she was finally roused from her slumber. "Time to rise and shine, lovie!" she prodded, taking another swig of Butterbeer.
