Since Seanna had explored the insides of the castle, she decided that it was high time she explored the outer area's of Hogwarts too and she had came upon the Forbidden Forest.
It was still late afternoon and the trees were swaying from the wind and few snowflakes dropped the ground. Seanna took a few deep breathes and entered the first section of the forest, where you still could make out the sun and Seanna was surprised to see a few bright flowers there too.

Along that path, Shay had taken a stroll around the campus. The cold air and snow called her name and she was delighted to heed its call. I'm lucky, she thought to herself as she watched the snowflakes feather down on her. She didn't get any snow where she lived, or used to live. So to see it once again was something to be grateful.
By the time she reached the forest she noticed a girl just not to far ahead. Without a moment to pass, she figured it would be someone she knew. Feeling her inner child rise up again, she balled up snow into a tight ball and wound up for the pitch. Giving it her throw, she waited with a grin to greet the girl.

Seanna was just about to bend down and pick up the lovely red rose that was in the earth's ground, when she felt something wet and cold hit her back, being in the forest, Seanna knew it could be anything but she saw the snow flying past her and let out a sigh of relief that it was snow and nothing else.
Turning around, Seanna decided to give this person, if it was a person, a piece of her mind. "Hey!, I could've fallen over you know!" Seanna said very seriously, though the tips of her mouth were turning up into a smile.

Shay's own smile turned into an 'OH' expression when she saw that made an error. Despite the girl's very good sense of humor, Shay ran across the field to catch up with her. Along the way she repeated, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" When she reached to the newcomer, she got out of the chant and said, "I thought you were someone else..."

"Don't worry about it" Seanna waved her hand as if to dismiss the girls worrying. "In a school this big, with robes that nearly look alike, it's no wonder that people get confused with other people" Seanna said to the girl, smiling at her.
"I'm Seanna by the way, Hufflepuff fourth year, to be exact, it's nice to meet you" Seanna smiled at the girl again.

Shay liked that the girl could have a good sense about it. The way she saw it, she would be mildly mad. As the girl introduced herself, Shay did the same. "Shay. I'm a Gryffindor sixth year," she replied. "It's great to meet with someone who has a good sense of humor.

"Nice to meet you, Shay and thanks, I think" Seanna replied to Shay, then she bent down and picked up what looked liked a yellow sunflower. "Isn't this a beautiful flower?"Seanna said to Shay, holding it out to her, so Shay could look at it.

She noticed the simple yet scenic detail of the flower. Nodding with a smile, she confirmed, "It's very pretty." Taking a look from there to the woods, she was a bit taken back. "I never noticed that there were great flowers around here."

"I didn't think I would find any flowers in here too" Seanna replied to Shay, taking a sniff at the yellow flower. "Actually, that was lie, I thought I would find flowers, but not very nice one's" Seanna said, picking up another Sunflower and handing it to Shay; "Here, have one"

"Ah, why thank you, Seanna!" Shay gladly took one and sniffed it. "You know what? I don't think I've ever actually stopped and smell the roses before. Or-- in this case-- sunflowers."

"Well, I could get you a rose if you like, there was one near the Sunflowers as well" Seanna looked around at the flowers and saw that the Rose that she saw before had gone.
"Hey!, it disappeared!" Seanna cried out, looking at Shay in utter confusion, "I wonder where it could've gone"

Shay looked around for the rose. She wasn't sure if Seanna was just joshing her, but it seemed as though she was very honest about it. "Hmm... are you sure you saw roses here?" She got a little suspicious about the presence of the flowers just then.

"Yeah, I'm sure there were Roses here, along with these Sunflowers" Seanna nodded her head vehemently, holding up her...err...sunflower. "Wait!, the sunflowers gone too!" Seanna cried out, looking at her empty hand and at Shay's empty hand, where the was a sunflower only just moments before.

Shay couldn't believe this as she looked at her vacant hand. "The sunflower...." She said ineffably. She had felt it, smelled it, seen it... how did it disappear. "Are you trying out some magician's trick?" She titled her head in incredulity.

Seanna looked at Shay, getting a bit scared that the beautiful flowers had disappeared. "No, I didn't do anything!, I promise, they just disappeared!" Seanna said indignantly to Shay, looking at the ground, as if willing the flowers to come back.
