Announcements and Notices (1 sub-board) Among the marble floors, grand vaulted ceilings, majestic stone walls, and portraits idly conversing with one another is the Announcement Board. Here one can find the messages left behind by the Headmistress, Deputy, Minister, and various other important people.
Character Biographies (8 sub-boards) Hogwarts Revolution has a diverse community of members, and thus very diverse characters. Here one can view these characters and learn a bit about them and what makes them as unique and special as they really are.
Chat Central (2 sub-boards) Both students and staff need a break from the stresses and drama that fill any place of education. Here is a sanctuary for those who merely wish to chat about current events or other such fancies.
The Daily Prophet (3 sub-boards) Witches and Wizards all over the United Kingdom are subscribed to one of the largest running newspapers to keep updated on what is going on outside of their own little social box. Venture here to find out what is going on around you. From within Hogwarts, The Ministry, and dealings World-Wide.
Showcase (2 sub-boards) Are you an artist and wish to show off your work? Are you a member of another site and wish to introduce it to others? Well, here is the perfect place. Whether you created an RPG or just wished to show something off with pride, the Showcase is open to all (even guests).
Dungeons (3 sub-boards) The mysterious depths of Hogwarts is unknown to all but the four founders long ago deceased. A labyrinth of twisting corridors and chambers twist and wind their way deep under the earth's surface. Only a small portion of these dark and gloomy corridors are occupied by today's inhabitants. So beware of too much wandering. You might never reach the surface again.
Ground Floor (5 sub-boards) Vaulted ceilings and grand halls and chambers mark the ground level of Hogwarts. Breathtaking, this is the first sight that newcomers and visitors received of this magical school, and it is one that they will never forget. From the Great Hall to seas of staircases leading up to other levels, a soul or two is always present here. Especially around meal times.
First Floor (4 sub-boards) The most diverse level out of the entire school, the first floor has a touch of almost everything. From the offices of your Herbology and Creatures Professor, to the place you go when injuries befall you in their classes, to the most boring class of the day. An active floor always and forever, if not the most favored one.
Second Floor (5 sub-boards) One of the more active floors of the castle, one can always seem to find something to do. From the teachings of Defensive magic, to trying to escape the clutches or enraged Suits of Armour, to searching rows of books for a current research project, there is always a way to entertain yourself on this floor.
Third Floor (3 sub-boards) Many of a pureblood avoids coming in contact with the third floor as much as possible. Full with muggle related classes such as Arithmancy and Muggle Studies, it is thus beyond the comprehension of half of Hogwarts' student population. Approach it only if you dare.
Fourth Floor (3 sub-boards) Almost entirely devoted to one of the most complex forms of magic, the fourth floor is a place of "transforming" interests. Of course, there is a special, secret, room on this level known to no more than a select few, but we won't talk about that, now will we. But if one does so happen to go snooping on this floor, a few things might be revealed (Including a way to blackmail your student leaders.)
Fifth Floor (3 sub-boards) Traveled mainly for class or in search of professors, the fifth floor is usually used to get from the lower level of the school to the higher. Students sometimes linger in it's empty classrooms or side corridors to try and avoid having to go to their next class.
Sixth Floor (2 sub-boards) Another one of those floors almost completely consisting of empty classrooms and hidden passageways, there is not much to see on the sixth floor except for two offices hidden away that one usually only stumbles upon by chance. Beware of actually stumbling upon them though, as the contents of one will try and tell you of the stars and the other how they will pertain to your death. Which do you fear most?
Seventh Floor (3 sub-boards) A floor of boredom would be a more fitting name for the seventh floor. Practically abandoned, one might find a lone wanderer or a lost first year on this level occasionally. Besides from that it is only occupied during classes. But, for one who walks down a certain corridor just the right way for just the right amount of times, they will find this floor isn't as glum as it may seem.
Assorted Towers (4 sub-boards) A castle cannot be a castle without towers, and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has plenty of them, from Astronomy to the Head Person's to the North Tower and many others. Many of these are off-limits to students for reasons unknown, but many are accessible to them as well.
Hogwarts Grounds (7 sub-boards) Hogwarts residents are not just secluded to the stiff halls and passages of the castle and it is often encouraged for them to travel abroad to prevent cabin fever. There are many exciting places to go and things to see on the school grounds, you just have to find them. But heed well, some places are off limits for a reason. Just because they are there doesn't mean they are safe.
Platform Nine and Three-Quarters Any muggle that traveled to Kings Cross Station would go about their merry way, dividing themselves between platform nine and ten. They would continue, completely oblivious that three-quarters between those two platforms resides another only visited by a train pulled by a scarlet steam engine. Here Hogwarts students board the Hogwarts Express and parents say their farewells.
Hogsmeade Village In the depths of Hogsmeade village resides a large pensieve, swirling with memories of students on Hogsmeade trips, wizards and witches going about their shopping, and the daily lives of shopkeepers. Be warned, it also has captured some darker deeds that have occurred down the danker alley ways of this village, some of which might be thrilling to read.
Diagon Alley Twisting and twinning paths of memories. Students out to replace robes that have become three inches too short around the ankles. Adults wandering though Gringotts and bumping into one another in chance meetings. All is recorded and all can be found here.
Ministry of Magic The largest political and commercial haven in the world, the Ministry of Magic is the center of everything in the magical world. Well, in England at least. Everything from the Minister's cabinet, to the Law Enforcement Department, to the English Quidditch Team's headquarters is located here.
Knockturn Alley The black market that everyone knows about, but is so well organized that not even the Ministry can bring their might down on it. One will come across the more shady of persons in such a place, and many -- interesting -- shops. Just be careful where you go and who you talk to when venturing through Knockturn, even the walls have ears, and all ears have eyes. You might get more than you bargained for.
St. Mungo's Hospital An old-fashioned, red brick department store called Purge and Dowse Ltd would be overlooked by a Muggle eye. Especially due to it's shabby air and the explicit sign on the dusty doors reading: CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT. But plead your woes to a rather ugly dummy in the display window and one will happen upon one of the best magical hospitals in all of the UK.
Other Magical Places The magical world is too numerous and too complex to try and name and tag all of them. The magical community has hidden them so well over the ages that with some, you have to already know where they are to go there. But they do exist, and one will find that wizards and witches are not as sparse across the globe as popular belief makes out.
Plot Pensieves (3 sub-boards) The twists and turmoils that have unfolded at Hogwarts Revolutions reside here, organized for easy accessibility. Inside, one will find the various plots and events that have provided both distress and pleasure for Hogwarts and the Wizarding World at large. Here one can reflect on the trials and tribulations of our beloved characters.
Muggle Places The Muggle world is just as extensive as the wizarding world, but much easier to travel. Unlike Wizards, they have no need to hide their community and live in quiet bliss. Journey through their lands, but try not to disturb the peace too much.
Gryffindor While venturing along the seventh floor, one might wander upon a portrait of a rather heavy set woman, if she's not asleep or away in staff antechamber chatting with her friend Violet ... say the right words and she shall open and reveal a place that Gryffindors have learned to call home. Just beware, the Fat Lady does remember faces, and while that is a saving grace to a Gryffindor who forgets the password, it is an assured answer that this is not a place a member of another house will be able to sneak into.
Hufflepuff On the main hall of the Castle there is a staircase, and down that staircase is a rather odd configuration of red bricks on a wall of stone gray. With the right password and the right touch, the bricks will sort themselves to reveal a House of coze and comfort for the waylorn Hufflepuff. Here Hufflepuffs can relax among each other and escape the workings of the other, more arrogant Houses around them.
Ravenclaw The West side of the castle is dedicated to many things indeed, the most commonly known being the Hospital Wing as every student ventures there at least once in their Hogwarts years. However to the Ravenclaws there is a much more soothing side of it. On one of the seven floors stands a gargoyle, that when given the right password, will open for wary Eagles to reveal the Ravenclaw Tower.
Slytherin Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaws stray away from the lower dungeons of the castles, finding it eerie and out right spooky. However, the Slytherins feel right at home. When given a password to it's entrance somewhere in the dungeons, Slytherin's retreat to their House built under the Lake. With cool damp air, the entire House is enriched with a greenish glow, much to the fancy of it's superior inhabitants.
Ground Floor The ground floor peniseve, encompassing the Entrance Hall, the Great Hall, the caretaker's office, the staff antechamber, and the courtyard, as well as various other places.
Hogwarts Grounds The peniseve of places around the grounds of Hogwarts; emcompassing the the Great Lake, the Herbology classroom, the Greenhouses, the Quidditch Pitch, the Care of the Magical Creatures classroom, and the Forbidden Forest, as well as various other places.
